The cottage is detached and has its own garden. When in season help yourselves to the surrounding fruit and berries, and we’ll get you off to a start in the self catering kitchen with some of our own hen or duck’s eggs. Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The White House

Based on a historic castle estate, explore Berwickshire's best sights and scenery from an enchanting woodland setting. A family and dog-friendly retreat great for golfers, walkers or beach-lovers - plus motorsports enthusiasts. The White House is a charming period cottage dating to when adjacent Duns Castle received a grand Gothic Revival makeover in the 1820s. That fortress's walled garden now borders the length of The White House's own garden - a lovely, lawned space.

The Bothy

Situated in a quiet courtyard in the borders town of Coldstream. Ideal for walkers, golfers, fishing or just visiting the historic Scottish borders. Only 4 miles from Flodden battlefield, Kelso 10 miles Berwick 14 miles, Edinburgh less than an hour away. 2 Local pubs to chose from all within 5 minutes walk. The name Bothy means a refuge for travelers. The price includes airbnb's charges which I can do nothing about, we charge £70 per night the rest is airbnb commission.
