It's a place to reconnect and recharge, to listen to the river and hear the wind through the trees and indulge in slow lunches and long walks and truly marvel at the Catskills. There's hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, mountain fresh air and dark, starry nights. This is a house, and you can treat it as such. Alpine Ridge is set on 3 acres of land, high up on a private road. From the house, you'll see the Bearpen Mountain Range across the valley. We designed and curated our home to be a perfect escape. Though remote, we are close to town for all the essentials: 5 mins to Prattsville, 15 mins from Windham and 25 mins from Hunter. The cottage is 5 minutes from many mountain trails, 12 minutes to Woodstock, 10 to Saugerties, under 30 to Hunter Mountain and 20 to Kingston. This area has so much to offer in all four seasons! We are just down the road from Indian Head Wilderness in Catskill Park, and very close to Kaaterskill Wild Forest.
