Crowfoot's Cottage - Waveney Valley Broads Fishing

Crowfoot's Cottage is situated on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, in the beautiful Waveney Valley. Lying in grounds of seven acres including a lake and woodland, it is a haven for wildlife and an ideal base for a relaxing holiday. The oldest parts of Crowfoot's cottage date from the 17th century and have been lovingly renovated. Within a short walk of the cottage are a village shop pub and Broome Heath which is ideal for dog walking/fishing. More shops and restaurants in Bungay just a mile away

The Old Scullery

A recently renovated basement apartment in a grade two listed town house in the heart of the historical market town of Bungay. A short walk to the river Waveney nestled in the Broads National park. We have on the door step, restaurants, pubs and an array of independent shops including many antiques. Bungay boasts four popular street markets a year, plus the Black Shuck festival, a folk festival and many others. Canoes and paddle boards can be hired locally. The Fisher theatre is few doors away.

With two bedrooms (sleeping up to four people), the cottage has been designed to a high specification and offers guests great comfort and modern conveniences within an environment steeped in history. Within its stunning open plan living space, lovely bedrooms, bath and shower rooms and a gorgeous private courtyard garden, the cottage is the perfect place to holiday and explore Norfolk & Suffolk...or just retreat into.

Hayloft at The Stables

A 2 bedroom first floor flat with kitchen, cosy living area, and bathroom, above our home on the ground floor. You share our front door, but access the flat through a door to the stairs immediately on entering the hall. Sleeps 4. Bedrooms are in the eaves, so have restricted head room in places. Excellent broadband. It was the hayloft above an old carriage house. A peaceful setting in pretty village, with a pub, a short drive to Diss. We live on the ground floor. Large garden, good parking.

You and your dog/s can enjoy a private enclosed meadow to sit and watch the wildlife fly over head. Dip your feet in the River Waveney situated alongside the dog friendly village pub, a mere 5 mins walk away or stroll along to the woods. Your young child/ren too can experience glamping, we can set up a chair bed with a mattress topper for a cosy stay. Den building in the meadow will be a delight as they embrace nature around them. A cosy comfortable retreat (dogs welcome) in the charming historic town of Bungay. Situated on the popular Earsham Street, close to boutique shops, cafes and good walks including the angles way. Swimmers can enjoy several spots along the Waveney, Roger Deakin’s favourite - Bungay Beach. Bungay is located near to several other charming towns including Halesworth and Beccles, while the city of Norwich is 30 minutes drive - as are the beaches of Walberswick, Dunwich and Southwold

Adorable 1 bedroom annex in Flixton

Our annex is complete with spacious double bedroom, shower room, lounge & kitchenette. The Annex is located next to the Norfolk & Suffolk Avaition Museum and The Flixton Buck Inn (check online for openings). Flixton is a small rural village, 5 minutes to the historic town of Bungay, 20 minutes to the Norfolk Broads, 30 minutes to Southwold. 20 minutes to Norwich, 40 minutes to Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich. Our central location is perfect for holidaying in Norfolk or Suffolk.

Cosy detached cottage and garden

This is our mother's home, a charming early 18th Century cottage, simply and tastefully furnished. Its location in a quiet country lane, with a glorious view, and seconds from the amazing Earsham Street and beautiful Bungay is very special. If you don't mind the traditional furnishings and the short bathtub, you'll feel like you are stepping back in time, leave the modern world behind, and have a lovely stay. We are very fond of the cottage and visit regularly.

Cosy home in lovely Bungay.

This is my home, it is idiosyncratic, quirky and arty. The house is small, perfectly formed for a break in the glorious countryside of East Anglia. I’ve made it as Airbnb friendly as possible but it is my home so you may have to forgive my taste in art and occasional quirk! You will find a comfy, homely mid-terrace house in the centre of beautiful Bungay, well placed to explore the town on foot. Please know that the house is bijou and will be cosy for four.
