This simple 12 x 12 foot north woods structure is well-maintained & clean. Penny's Peak is a visually secluded rustic campsite. Guests have full access to our groomed hiking trails and stunning wilderness.

This historic log cabin has been lovingly restored to retain all its original charm and history, while updated with all the luxury amenities. A large Main Room is home to a wood-burning fireplace, dining table, game table, and picture windows that bring the Big Lake indoors in all seasons. Float the lake, cozy up by the woodstove, or awe at brilliant dark skies. Venture out by bike, boat, ski, snowmobile to 15 different lakes within a 10 min drive/OHV. Experience the magic of solitude (3mi to BWCA Wilderness, 5min to Eagle Mtn hiking) and then head 12-25min to the beloved Raven Rock Grill or Grand Marais.

The Lena Dome (5 min to Grand Marais)

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Directly on the Pincushion Trail System (which links to the Superior Hiking Trail) you'll find endless hiking options right outside your door. The Lena dome is 5 minutes from downtown Grand Marais where you can eat at amazing restaurants, hear great live music, enjoy time by Lake Superior, and explore beautifully curated local shops. The Superior View House is your quiet escape to the North Shore. Located just 1 mile from access to Lake Superior, 1/2 mile from the Superior Hiking Trail and 10 minutes from Grand Marais this entire home is an excellent place to set up for a long weekend exploring the Northwoods. The cozy fireplace and large airy living room make for comfortable ways to spend the evenings or days when the whether isn't cooperating, otherwise the three outdoor decks and wood fired sauna are the places to be.
