The traditional cob built thatched cottage is an ideal location for those who enjoy the coast & outdoor pursuits. There are a multitude of beaches along the coastline, all ideal for families/dogs. Many pubs & restaurants close by and local seafood too.

This picturesque cottage dates from the 18th Century and has been carefully renovated to provide modern comfort whilst retaining the property's original features. Just 2 minutes' stroll from Lulworth Cove, on England’s only natural UNESCO World Heritage coastline. Customise the bed layout - with the ability to swap 2 rooms from super kings to twins. Please note that we do not recommend this property for those with small children or mobility issues due to several flights of rather steep stairs.

We love our family cottage: three generations have explored this beautiful part of Dorset, relaxed around the kitchen table and enjoyed the garden. We're 3-4 miles from Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove and a perfect jumping off point for walks, swimming, wildlife, castles, fossils, forts, beaches & cliffs. The kitchen is great for lazy breakfasts & relaxed dinners. The two living rooms & library provide plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing - board games, TV/videos, reading & relaxing.

We are situated 6 miles from Dorchester, and within easy reach of many Dorset attractions; Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, The Purbeck Hills, Kimmeridge, Southwest Coastal Path, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Weymouth, Swanage.

It has a private entrance and accommodation on two floors. Durdle Door, Lulworth, Corfe Castle, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and Dorchester are all a short drive away, and are perfect for walking, fossil-hunting, shopping and eating out. Less than 5 minutes walk to mainline train station and bus routes.

Win Place is a 1 bedroom cottage in the beautiful rural village of Winfrith Newburgh. This converted holiday cottage is cosy and spacious with modern facilities. A great base to explore all of Dorset. WIFI. Towels+Linen provided. Log burner (logs included) Dog friendly, £15 per dog per, payable by adding each dog to the booking. Dedicated off road parking. You can request an early arrival from 12noon (extra fee of £25 will be requested after your booking has been confirmed)
