The space is incredibly comfortable, offering a private entrance. The view of the river is spectacular adding to the charm. Added details like coffee, snacks, and a local chocolatier’s treats made me feel at home! Hosts are wonderful! Thanks for an amazing stay!

My wife and I have stayed at The Fish House several times. It is a wonderful respite from our urban home life. A great place to relax and appreciate the Northern Neck lifestyle. We love it here!

Absolutely beautiful place! So clean and such a peaceful neighborhood. Looking out on the water and being able to sit on the dock was a real treat! Would recommend this spot to anyone.

My stay was great, the only thing I will mention is that traffic on Main St. will wake you up before the alarm during week days.

We really enjoyed our long Easter weekend at Nataly’s 1st floor apartment in Virginia Beach! Great location:quiet,private,pretty backyard with nice deck,outside shower, and view of the water & lots of animal entertainment: Herons,Egrets,Mallards,fish,squirrels and 1 possum at night! 😆 The apartment is perfect for 2 people: Very Clean,comfy, & the Queen size Bed was very comfortable and the linens smelled so good! Loved the bathroom too! There’s so much to do, so many great places to eat at & funky bars & beer places to experience! Do yourself a favor and take a walk or rent bikes: You’re close enough to the beach-go enjoy it! We recommend “Rudee’s Tours”-The Dolphin Boat Cruise was AWESOME! We’ll be back! What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at John‘s condo! The location can’t be beat and it offered everything we needed. We had little issue with the dishwasher and washing machine, but John responded very promptly and took care of everything quick as could be. Highly recommend!

The location was beautiful and the home was very cozy. Sitting on the screened porch, reading and enjoying the view of the yard and water was good for the soul. It was very quiet and we had all the amenities we needed.

Samantha was wonderful and the house and location is really perfect. its setting is so nice and quiet, and the house is set up perfect for a family with a great game room upstairs and tons of games. We spent thanksgiving there with our family and the house had everything you could need for cooking for sure. It was perfect. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors more. Waking up every day and going out on the dock to feed the three swans was really cool. We'll be back.

Enjoyed the stay!

We spent a lovely few days at this home and highly recommend it! The location is fantastic -- right on the water on a quiet creek -- with all the things you need to enjoy yourself. We were very happy to have a fully fenced yard since we brought our dogs. If anything, I think the photos undersell the house: for instance, the furniture in the living room is larger and nicer than it appears in the pics, so you can really spread out and relax in there. A note to EV drivers: we brought our EV and there's conveniently an outdoor 110v outlet on the side of the house next to the driveway.

Amazing girls weekend at Ryan’s house. Such a great host and we couldn’t ask for a better weekend. The dock made the trip! We spent our entire time out there, just relaxing.

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

This home is a great place to stay! It is completely furnished with everything you need. The kitchen is completely stocked with any seasonings or coffee accessories you need. The home is wonderfully functional for larger families and kids, --lots of nooks and spaces to hang out and enjoy your vacation. My boys and I chose this rental for the kayaking, and we were not disappointed. The equipment was ready to go, and the home has it's own private slip into a beautiful calm river. This is a great home for families and friends to relax, get some time on the water, and spend time with each other. Great value.

This is our fourth? fifth? stay at Sundar's lovely spot. Private, gorgeous beach out back, great expansive views out front with ships in the distance. Home is very comfortable. We are always there in November so don't swim, or kayak, or fish. Just enjoy the comfortable home and the walks on the beach. Sundar is always very responsive and available. Kitchen has everything you need. Appliances are great. Beds are comfortable. No clutter of owner's cast-offs which many airbnb homes have. We will be back next year!!

Erin's beach house was a piece of paradise!! Erin was responsive! My kids loved the beach and relaxing in the sunroom! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the warmer months!!

This is a great location if you have kids. I love the fact that there was baby gates for the porch and also there was kid friendly cups plates, and utensils. it’s very close to the beach and it’s a very quiet location on the bay. We would definitely stay here again. The house was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. I can’t say not one negative thing about our stay. We would definitely book here again.

The place was optimum for our mini vacay. We absolutely loved the area, it was peaceful and relaxing and the amenities were just right. Jaqueline remained open and available for communication and was very clear in her expectations of us as guest. Definitely 5 Stars!

Mike’s beach house is perfect for a family or group trip. More than enough space to fit everyone and the location is amazing. You’re less than a 5min walk to the beach but also return to a quiet dock rental. It was so calm sitting on the porch each morning looking at the water. Far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy the boardwalk and attractions when wanted. He’s super communicative as well. Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway! Heather was super nice and responsive and her place was so cute and exactly like the pictures. It was walkable from multiple restaurants/bars and the beach and had a nice view of the water from the deck. If you wanted to go to any other restaurants that weren’t walking distance, they were only a short drive/uber away. We had such a great experience and will definitely be reaching back out to Heather when we come back down to visit to stay here again!!

The condo was very clean with all necessary essentials. We loved sitting on the porch watching the wildlife, especially the numerous ospreys. It is centrally located, only a short drive to historic Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. Plan for about a day at each to fully enjoy everything. The grounds of the resort are lovely and a great place to walk or ride bikes. Rodica was very easy to communicate with and was most helpful with all checking instructions, especially with our late arrival. We would definitely like to return.

We enjoyed staying at Stephanie's place very much. It felt homey and relaxed with a subtle and sophisticated sense of harmony with the ocean. The view is wonderful. We loved watching the sun rise from the bedroom window and the easy access to the beach. A special appreciation for Stephanie's availability during the preparation for coming phase and then settling in.

Stayed on a girls trip for the Springfest. We were able to walk to everything. The building and unit are beautiful. The condo was perfect for the 6 of us with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and the view from the balcony is great.
