My husband and I stayed at the Auction House for two weeks in March while visiting our daughter, son in law and our new grandchild. The location was perfect! We were able to walk to our daughter’s home as well as enjoy downtown Ryde restaurants in the evening. Christine and Terry were great hosts. Their home is very nice, clean and has everything you need to feel at home. We especially loved our welcome treat. We will definitely return to the Auction House in the future.

Excellent accommodation. All there and high quality. Clear instructions to reach the place. Not mentioned or photographed but property is VERY close to train line. Can hear and feel all trains going past and/or stopping at Brockenhurst station. Actually, you zone out of it very quickly, so it wasn't disturbing. And flip side is that location is amazing if coming by public transport - Brockenhurst station is 15 seconds walk away!!! Also best kitted out kitchen ever stayed in - all items worked and were good quality. Fabulous functional, light space downstairs especially. Shower room perfect. Heating worked too, no issues. Would highly recommend overall, but to be aware of train station proximity in case it bothers you.

A great location with an easy walk into Cowes. We loved the view from the sitting room window out to sea and watching the boats and ferries coming and going. The house was just as pictured and described with easy communication from the hosts. Thank you

What a slice of heaven! Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or something family friendly, this beautiful 17th century cottage is perfect. It had all the modern amenities without sacrificing charm or historic touches. We enjoyed the spacious back garden too! Matthew’s check in instructions were so helpful- even including a photo of the parking area right around the corner. We also really appreciated the thorough restaurant recommendations so we could make reservations well in advance and not worry about the added research. Our toddler loved exploring the lovely streets of Beaulieu with us and seeing the docile donkeys and horses. Excellent cafes and restaurants are all within a 2 minute walk. We feel so fortunate to have enjoyed a fantastic extended weekend here. Don’t hesitate to book this!

Excellent accommodation, well equipped and in a lovely location. Lots of information available about the Island. Great base for exploring.

We stayed here as a family of 7 (5 adults, 10 year old and 8 month old) during the Easter holidays. The house is perfectly positioned for walking into Ventnor. We spent a few afternoons sitting outside the Spyglass Inn which was lovely. Also recommend Craves Icecreams! Getting around the island is easy and ee enjoyed many days out (the weather was kinder than we had thought!) Parking can be tricky, i wouldnt want to try and find a space in the height of summer, but we always found one! The house had everything we needed, however, there are lots of stairs! So not ideal for any visitors less able. Fine for us! Caroline was the perfect host, always quick to reply to any messages before and during our stay and we were able to enter the property slightly earlier due to no one having been there the previous week. We 1000% recommend the "Fighting Cocks Inn", we have been previosuly and again, it didnt disappoint! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic property, great location in town centre, but once inside feels like you are in the heart of the countryside. Very well presented with plenty of towels, good linen etc. Host very helpful and friendly.

Excellent, supremely well-appointed cottage that, a bit like Doctor Who's Tardis, is far bigger inside than it looks from the outside. A short walk from the town centre it's an superb place to stay and makes a great base to sample all the delights that Chichester and the surrounding area has to offer. Chris himself was there to meet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The interior is outstanding with antique items, books and games in the living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms and bathroom are also of the highest quality. An added bonus is the small but delightful back garden. I have no qualms in wholeheartedly recommending this property.

We stayed in Lynn's beautiful place for 3 nights and had an amazing time. The house is lovely and the garden is a gem. Everything you need is available and of good quality. I absolutely recommend this place!

Good host, very communicative. Property was clean, spacious and easy walking distance to the city centre. We were only here a short time, but would stay again if back in the area. The actual road is a little awkward to access from the roundabout (zoom in on your Sat Nav or risk going 5 minutes round the block) and it might not be the best for very light sleepers as there is both a Dual Carriageway and. Railway Line nearby, both of which are audible from the house.

Lovely house, we immediately felt at home. We are a family of 6 and the house accommodated us perfectly. The house is centrally located and only a few mins stroll from shops, restaurants, and the harbour views.

The presentation of this property is simply immaculate. Pastries and fresh flowers (and plenty more) greet you on your arrival. The attention to detail in the decor is next level. You will want Rachel to come around and do the interior decorating at your own home after seeing this. There are more sitting rooms than you will possibly be able to use. There is actually not much point to reviewing this place: all you need to know is that if you are going to Chichester and surrounds, do yourself a favour and stay here if you possibly can.

We had a great stay in Chichester in this lovely town house. Although it’s right on the road, the road is fairly quiet at night so did not disturb us (we have a baby too!) The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location right on the canal where we enjoyed a lovely evening walk. Tom was a great host and responded quickly to any questions. Would stay again. Thankyou!

We had a nice stay. The house is located only 10 minutes walk away from the center with all the nice reviews and bars. It was a little bit too small for 4 adults and 2 kids but overall comfortable enough. Sebastian responded in seconds to all our inquiries. Thank you!

Sally's place is amazing. It's a stone's throw from the awesome city of Salisbury with its gorgeous cathedral, (with well informed guides, magical font and magna carta to name three highlights), fast running uber clean river, independent shops and access to nearby National Trust properties. The house is small but spacious. This sounds like a contradiction but for two people with a lot of luggage it was perfect. The stairs to the well lit first floor bedroom are a stand out feature. Indeed the whole building is so light with unusually placed windows. Very comfy bed. There is also an outside space with seating. Another noteworthy feature of arranging to stay here is the prompt nature of replies and a definite tendency on Sally's part to go the extra mile. This included sorting out a parking permit in the street near the house.

We had a great time at Palermo Villa. It's beautifully decorated and the perfect location for exploring Southsea Common, the seafront and some lovely Portsmouth bars and restaurants. Nicola is a great host, quick to respond to messages and the house is spotless! Highly recommend.

Family friendly home, nice touch with leaving the Easter eggs for the kids. Close to beach and a friendly environment. Would definitely book again

It was a birthday weekend but my daughter also had some urgent shopping. We were able to combine the two with plenty of scope for eating out together, getting to know the City whilst doing the shopping and then a loverly walk up St Catherine's Hill and along the river. A very successful short break.

From our arrival We felt that Sam’s house was our 2nd home! Maeve was especially grateful for allowing her to share the toys within the playroom. Pool table was a great addition too! location for attending a family wedding nearby was perfect.

A beautiful house which is very well presented and spacious. The house is well equipped and felt like home straight away. Our 2 dogs loved having the back garden too and settled in well. It was lovely to arrive to a warm house which was decorated with a lovely Christmas tree ( we had arranged with Beth that we would be arriving after midnight due to a late crossing). A short walk into Cowes town centre. We had one minor issue which was promptly sorted by Beth.. The parking issue was not a problem as we could always park around the corner on the next road. Unloading the car was quite easy as the road is quiet with hardly any traffic. We normally stay in Ventnor or Shanklin. However, we loved our stay so much that we hope to visit again soon. Lovely little house just over the railway line from the city centre. despite this it's an easy walk into town. 10 mins max and very quiet because of that. on site parking which is good for Salisbury. 2-3 decent pubs in striking distance and several Indian/Nepalese restaurants within 5 mins.

Had great stay house is short walk to city centre in a nice quiet area. The house is nice and clean and warm in these cold days . Hosts very easy to communicate with

We had an amazing 3-night stay at this beautiful garden shed—it was truly perfect in every way. The cabin had absolutely everything you could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and clearly well taken care of. The garden was beautiful and peaceful, with birds singing all day and a serene river flowing right beside the property. It felt incredibly private and secluded—like our own little slice of nature. Inside, the cabin was warm, inviting, and super cosy. For us after 3 days of hard work at a local event, it was the perfect place to unwind. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend and would love to return!
