The Depot is one of the few surviving historic buildings on Bracey Drive, alongside the old post office across the street, the general store next door, and other local landmarks. This stretch of Bracey Drive feels quietly tucked away, just around the “cut,” yet it’s conveniently located less than half a mile from I-85.

The Hawk's Nest (Pets welcome, no fee)

This house is surrounded by growth. High trees provide shade while grilling out and the wooded lot gives a feeling of being somewhere much more remote. There are exactly seventy stairs to the water. The dock provides a great place to relax and eat and drink. The water off the dock is 7ft deep, so jump right in. It is possible to tie a boat up to the outside of the dock so feel free to bring your own or rent one from the nearby Marina.
