I stayed here solo and absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful—immaculate, with a stunning garden and a private pool that felt like my own little oasis. There’s no AC, but don’t let that worry you—I was there in April with 39°C heat, and the house stayed cool throughout. I slept like a baby every night. The host was easy to communicate with, and the caretaker was super responsive and helpful. I’d definitely come back again!

Walid was a great host, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. He was always available if I needed anything, but otherwise left to be at home - welcomed after a day exploring! The place was exactly what I expected, located on the West Bank, a very short walk from the public ferry. It offered some peace from intensity of the city. The secluded garden was a special place to start and finish days, feeling immersed in a more authentic Egyptian experience than I would get anywhere else. The Egyptian and Moroccan architecture makes for a fantastic experience, with domed ceilings and arches built into all the rooms, and some quite special bathrooms (I had a tour). My room was spacious, had plenty of places to spread out my things and all the modern features needed (AC, fridge, hot water, power sockets). Walid and his family have clearly put passion, energy and creativity into building this place and I really wish Walid success with future plans, which I hope to return and see.

Le logement de Tarik en un mot : impeccable. L’hôte a été aux petits soins, son logement est parfait pour les personnes qui souhaitent vivre une expérience authentique, vraie et en lien avec la culture locale. L’atout du logement : une terrasse avec une vue imprenable. Tarik et sa famille ont su être accueillants, disponibles et de très bons conseils quant à leur ville, qu’ils représentent au mieux. Des personnes authentiques dans une ville authentique. Je recommande vivement!

The apartment was as beautiful as in the pictures. Very cosy, calm and amazing view. Mohamed was a great host, he made sure we were comfortable and also gave us local recommendations. Would definitely recommend it for anyone staying in Dahab :)

Eine wunderschöne Villa mit einem noch schöneren Garten. Die Villa ist auf zwei Flügel aufgeteilt: Der Ostflügel ist sehr groß mit mehreren Zimmern, sehr stilvoll eingerichteten, antiken Möbeln und einer schönen Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den riesigen See vor der Haustüre. Der Westflügel ist ein eigenständiges kleines Haus mit einem Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer - getrennt durch einen wunderschönen antiken Raumtrenner - für bis zu 2 Personen am anderen Ende des Gartens. Der große Garten ist eine grüne & bunt blühende Oase in Mitten der Oaste Fayoums. Überall blüht und zwitschert es. Im Garten leben viele Vögel und eine Katze. Es gibt zahlreiche Schattenplätze, Lauben, Schaukeln, Sitz- und Liegeflächen am Pool und einen Grillplatz. Perfekt für einen Urlaub mit der Familie oder Freund*innen, aber auch alleine habe ich mich sehr wohlgefühlt in der Ruhe. Das Haus liegt im Künstlerdorf Tunis mit vielen schönen Töpfereien in der Nähe.

Leider war mein Aufenthalt dort nur kurz, aber es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Es gibt kleine Details im Haus, die Sie sonst nirgendwo finden. Vielen Dank natürlich an Amina, die für die Buchung zuständig ist, sie war richtig sehr nett. Das Haus liegt in der Nähe von Restaurants und Geschäften und im Notfall ist sogar der Al-Rehab Medical Complex in der Nähe.

We had the most amazing time at Khaleds apartment - the view of the pyramids was amazing. Khaled was extremely helpful at met us at the door and helped us on our exit I would absolutely recommend this place to stay.

I'm Rayhana Guesthouse fühlte ich mich von Beginn an herzlich willkommen und wie zu Hause. Mein Zimmer sowie Bad war super sauber , der Balkon mit Meerblick ein Traum. Auf der Dachterasse sowie Innenhof konnte man nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag schön entspannen. Besonders für allein reisende Frauen kann ich dieses Guesthouse sehr empfehlen , da weder Gastgeber noch Personal aufdringlich wurden - ganz im Gegenteil: alle waren stets sehr höflich, interessiert , hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, aber auch zurückhaltend . Ich komme sehr gerne wieder ins Rayhana Guesthouse!

I would say that they were the best couple of days I have ever had in my life. The place decoration took me back to a fairy tale era . It combines the simplicity with the essentiality . The people we met in the place starting from Mamdouh himself , Mimi , Nour to the lovely staff were so humble and kind , with a great hospitality . Not to mention the food, it was so tasty and has so much variety I would 100 % recommend it for anyone wants to escape the city’s craziness and recharge his batteries with some fresh air . They are very friendly and helpful.even helped me book the bus ticket to Alexandra. The location is very good near the ticket office. And they have breakfast included. I don’t know that in the beginning. And my favorite part is their beautiful rooftop. I was pretty much enjoying my time at there(the room was not very clean but it’s not a big deal). Sherif was the go to guy in that area. He and his staff went over and above in providing drivers, tour guides and local excursions like Camel riding and River Cruises, and the Giza pyramids. Sherif was well respected in his area and easy to communicate with when we had a need. He has several businesses in that area, and everyone is very helpful in making sure our needs were met at all times. I'm sure with the internets help, we will be lifelong acquintances! 5 Star rating for Sure!!! Thanks for your hospitality Sherif and Staff!!
