Alana’s place was definitely peaceful and tranquil. Everything was as described, pool was a bit dirty with leaves but it is surrounded by tall trees so it’s to be expected. They were thoughtful enough to leave tools to clean it yourself which is great, I had no issues. My family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay, our kids ran and played on the playground provided. They swam and enjoyed the outdoor games provided, along with the toys inside. I would highly recommend Alana’s place for a small family. The loft was unused since it was too steep of a climb for our younger children. Alana, thank you so much for your hospitality and communication!

It was a perfect place to unwind after a day of the softball fields! Wish we would have had more time to use the pool and explore but it was a wonderful place.

This place was great- actually a lot bigger than we expected. There was a musty smell when we walked in, but thankfully there was Febreeze provided, as well as anything else we needed. We could hear noise from the people and dogs upstairs, but I didn’t mind. I would definitely stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The home was gorgeous and so clean. The appliances in the kitchen were new and easy to use. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the stillness of the water. The kids loved the game room and enjoyed playing ping pong. We all walked to the deck and went fishing and we caught about 5 fish! 🤗 The kids were so excited about that. We threw them back into the lake though.. The kids loved their room which had bunkbeds & all 5 kids were able to stay in the same room which was really fun for them. The bathtubs have steamy hot water! Most of all, I loved the small intricate details like the cross in the hallway, small angel statues in the kids room, and the books they chose for the bookshelf. I am so impressed with the intentionality they took with their home. 💕The owners are so friendly and sweet. We would definitely stay again.👍

When we visit our son in college we want to stay at a peaceful, clean, and comfortable place. This Airbnb has all that and more! We had a wonderful overnight visit with our son! Looking forward to staying here again in the near future as he still has three years of college to go!

We stayed here for my son’s wedding that was in Ruston. It was a beautiful and peaceful place that provided just what we needed for the weekend. Beverly left the most delicious cookies for us! The cookies are enough of a reason to go back, not to mention the comfort of the beds!

Very clean, comfortable place to stay. We ended up with a smaller group than we originally expected. But would have been very comfortable with our larger group too. Gary was great to work with and responded very quickly when o contacted him. We would certainly stay again.

Great, quiet place! We were close by where we needed to be and town was not that far away. Everything was pretty clean. The beds seemed like they had a ton of fuzzys and dirt under the covers but we think it was just from the blanket.

it was so nice to have a place for our whole family to be able to be together while visiting our daughter at SAU. Sandra was so helpful and responsive when we had a change in number of guest. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sandra

Stacie was a great host, and responded quickly, keeping in touch regarding any questions or concerns we had. I also appreciate her making the dates available at the last minute. We highly recommend her and will definitely choose her again if we have to come back to this area.

I was mind blown to find a place in this area. It is a great central location for us to visit family in the surrounding towns. The house was extremely clean and well kept as well. The Johnsville Country Store just up the road has amazing food. Quite, country home that we will definitely stay at again

We go to Grambling to move our daughters in and out of college every year so we try to find nice houses to stay in while we’re there. This particular house is so beautiful. I really enjoyed the balcony to the master bedroom. It was perfect for me and my husband. I loved the way the house is designed my son liked it so much he said he wants his house made just like it. The beds were so comfortable. We had family game night with some of the games there at the house. My grandson had fun playing outside in the yard. He was all over the house. My kids enjoyed sitting on the front porch, balcony and the yard. The host Lisa was the best host we’ve had yet. She communicated very well. She even checked on us to see if we had made it safely. She had the refrigerator stocked with cold water. She left snacks out for us. We had a very warm welcoming. This home is so beautiful. The area is so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home and host.

This is a very beautiful, circa 1964 house. It’s like stepping back in time. It has a beautiful yard in a quaint neighborhood. There is nothing like having coffee on the deck watching the birds. The kitchen has all the amenities of home, allowing for a home cooked meal for friends and family. It is kid friendly, with activities and toys. It has an “off the beaten path” feel, while only minutes for town. We will be back!

This place is beautiful! Enough room to not feel on top of anyone. Bedrooms spacious and bathrooms good room. See was very responsive and answered very quickly. Would definitely stay here again if I was coming back

This home was very clean, very cute and had everything you would need to feel at home. Kitchen had everything, laundry room was large and was stocked with detergent. They left snacks for us so we had something before we went to the grocery store. The outside setting was very peaceful. The host was very responsive. Overall a great place to stay and a wonderful host.

We had a pleasant stay at The Corner House in Ruston. Our host Kim was helpful and answered any/all questions we had. The Corner House is beautifully decorated and very clean. It was the perfect place for my small family and our infant. The location is central and the surrounding properties are beautiful. We loved sitting on the front porch everyday and enjoying the weather and scenery. The check-in and check-out processes are very easy. We hope to book The Corner House again in the future when we are in Ruston.

We had such an enjoyable time at Susan’s beautiful home! It was close in proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and the softball fields. We have already discussed about coming back for just a casual relaxing vacation. My wife couldn’t get enough of the entry way off the garage. She sat there for house looking out the window, admiring the birds flying around the bayou and greenery. Thank you Susan for such a wonderful stay!! Your flexibility, accommodation and communication were top tier!!
