Cottage comfortably sleeps six adults with room for one baby or toddler in a travel cot in one of the double bedrooms. Our cottage has beautiful views of the countryside in all directions. Relax and unwind in peace. The cottage is newly built with all modern interior and appliances. The cottage is ideal for family getaways with all the amenities you would ever need! Entire access to the private semi-detached cottage and back garden and parking in-front. We will meet you when we arrive to let you in and we live next door so ask us if you need anything! The cottage is a short drive from the quaint village of Piddletrenthide and its 15th-century buildings. It's also a short drive from the village of Cerne Abbas's pubs and restaurants, as well as its famous chalk figure giant. The cottage is on a working farm. Situated in beautiful countryside in the Mendip Hills AONB, but conveniently located for Bristol Airport (3.9 miles), Central Bristol (12 miles) and the Cities of Bath (18 miles) and Wells (12 miles). Walking distance to Blagdon Lake and a short drive or cycle to Chew Valley Lake. Comfortable accommodation featuring a log burning stove, flag stone floor kitchen area and shower room.

Pet friendly Farm stay in amazing countryside

Clappers Farm is a 17th century farmhouse located on a quiet country road on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. Set in 35 acres of its own land then surrounded by further farmland, there are various outbuildings mainly used for stabling . Silchester Brook meanders through the property and attracts wildlife from kingfishers and swallows to deer. There is a huge network of picturesque footpaths and cycle routes accessible from the front gate of the farm. Dogs and horses are welcome.

Historic Oast house on farm comfortably modernised

The house enjoys glorious views surrounded by open countryside and has a happy atmosphere. It looks onto fields, a lake and beyond these the north downs. There is easy and convenient parking, with many interesting places a short drive away: Hever Castle, Penshurst Place, Chartwell and Groombridge Place plus Lingfield Racecourse. The train service to London is under an hour to Victoria or London Bridge from Edenbridge or Lingfield train stations.
