Beautiful location in the historical part of the small town with tremendous sights of the sea, the mountains and the lazy seal sunbathing near the marina. Nigel‘s house is well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Great asset: You can use the lodge‘s kayaks and explore the beautiful Thasis Inlet. Nigel was a great and friendly host and gave helpful advice what to do in this remote area and what NOT do to - like leaving food in the car: There are a lot of bears roaming around. A nice coffee place is nearby. We visited off season in October so it’s very quite in Thasis which was a great experience. Nigel‘s place is highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Sally-Anne's place. Sally-Anne is a very responsive host and had great communication and was very helpful. The home was very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything that we needed. We would definitely stay at Sally-Anne's again next time we are in Tahsis.

A beautiful small home with all its advantages and a few disadvantages, to be expected given “tiny house”. The only issues were two steps down to the toilet and bath, and a tight bedroom but excellent firm mattress. Cooking facilities were more than adequate. The location and host/ess were amazing - exactly what we wanted for our getaway. Brodie and Ann were very friendly, accommodating and responsive.

Of all the places I’ve ever stayed in my life, I think Darren’s trailer had the best view — truly breathtaking. Darren is a great host. Very responsive and prepared to answer questions. He provided a helpful map with suggested activities, but the area surrounding the trailer was so stunning we hardly wanted to leave! The trailer itself was cozy, well-equipped, and thoughtfully laid out. While it was a little closer to the neighbors than we expected, a lot of care has clearly gone into designing the space for privacy, and it’ll only get more secluded as the landscaping continues to grow in. Overall, a magical stay in a very special spot. We'll absolutely be back!

I recently stayed at an Airbnb in Gold River for a work-related trip, and it was a fantastic experience. The space was not only comfortable and well-equipped for my needs, but it also offered a quiet environment that allowed rest and relaxation. The host was friendly and responsive, ensuring everything went smoothly during my stay. Plus, the beautiful surroundings provided a much-needed respite after long working hours. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area for business or pleasure!

The downstairs apartment we stayed in was recently renovated with great taste. It felt very clean and was an awesome find with a good price. The location was great. Easy to walk around town and we even saw the hosts again at their pottery studio. Great stay, would definitely recommend

We loved our stay in this cabin! The instructions for how to get there were really helpful (don’t trust Google Maps!) and it was super peaceful. All the little decorations and knickknacks, as well as the amazing scented candles and essential oil diffuser, brought us so much joy! Kindling was already split and provided, and the stove does a great job of warming up the space on cold nights. One of the things we enjoyed most was the cotton sheets on the bed! I don't sleep very well in polyester, so it was nice to sleep on sheets like the ones I have at home. Although the listing mentions slow WiFi, we didn’t find that at all! It might not be crazy-fast city internet, but we live rurally and we’re used to slightly slower speeds. The last thing I want to mention is the little gift basket full of different local products like tea and coffee. It was so nice to try things from local businesses! This was an amazing stay and we would recommend it for anyone who wants a getaway in nature!

We had a great month at Sarah's place over Christmas and New Year. Sarah's place had everything you would need and more for an enjoyable stay. Tahsis is a beautiful tranquil place and we had a great time. Would recommend.

We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay in Port Alice. The apartment looks out on a quite spectacular view and the outside space is a nice addition. Inside was everything we needed and a surprising amount of room. Thoroughly recommend and hope to return. Thank you Johan!

Great stay in Tahsis with Nigel. Everything we needed for a successful fishing trip was available. Nigel met us at the dock to check us in and show us the great property. Nigel checked in occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed. Top notch, we’ll be back without a doubt.

Dieser Aufenthalt war ein Traum! Der Kontakt mit Corinna war unkompliziert und absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Bus war für uns hell erleuchtet und die Heizung lief, als wir ankamen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, total sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Jedes Möbelstück und Item im Bus wurde sorgfältig ausgewählt, man fühlt sich einfach sofort wohl. Mit den Heizlüftern wurde es im Bus schnell warm. Auch die Badewanne ist toll. Wir haben einen Regentag komplett lesend im Bus verbracht, auch das wurde uns nicht zu eng. Als der Strom durch den Regensturm ausgefallen ist, kamen Corinna und ihre Familie mit Kerzen, Licht und Wassereimern für das WC zu uns, sodass wir gut versorgt waren. Dies passiert im Winter wohl häufiger, es gibt aber ein Notfall Aggregat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Dankeschön Corinna und Greg!

We had a great stay on Darren's farm. It's such a peaceful and beautiful remote place that was just what we needed. We spent most of our time out on our boat exploring the surrounding area by water. It's such a scenic, untouched spot. The set up on Darren's farm was perfect, the van was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed and it was nice to wrap up the day by the fire pit looking out at the view. Would love to come back and explore more!
