Just booked in Seattle

A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house. It has a 3/4 bath (shower). The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis covered with roses and grape vines set in an English Garden. Also, see our equally nice "Victorian in the Heart of Ballard" rental: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928
A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house with separate access and a 3/4 (meaning shower but no bathtub) bathroom. The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis on the south side covered with roses, grape vines, and wisteria and is surrounded by an English Garden. The pictures posted should give you the right idea. (Alternative accommodation: We also have a really lovely rental space in the main house. See: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928 ) The cottage: there is a microwave, a small fridge, and an electric kettle for making coffee or tea. It offers considerable privacy if that is desired. The bed is queen-sized. Extra high-speed WiFi is also provided along with cable TV, including all of the premium channels. It is also possible to close some giant wood-paneled pocket doors if you want to divide the studio into a bedroom and sitting room, if case someone wants to sleep and someone else does not. The cottage is used as a studio by Liz (who is the English gardener) when it is not being used as a guest house. So there is a lot of (really excellent) art, mostly studies in the human form, on the walls and shelves. (If you would like a cast of one of the statues, talk to Liz.) The Ballard Neighborhood is a great place to visit: *10 minute walk to downtown Ballard with fabulous bars and restaurants, great Sunday farmers market, nice three-screen cinema, and much more. *5 minute walk to the Ballard Locks, where ships enter and exit Puget Sound from Seattle waterways. *10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Buses also run regularly downtown from close by - either to downtown Seattle or to the University District and elsewhere. Evenings are very quiet here and the air quality is unusually good for a city. We get a fresh sea breeze off of Puget Sound in the early evening. Guests find the cottage a calming and refreshing refuge from the bustle of the city.
Ballard is a fantastic destination neighborhood for restaurants and bars and music. We are an easy walk (5-10 minutes) from downtown Ballard. Great breakfast places even closer.
  • I am a little relunctant to leave a positive review out of fear this lovely retreat will be discovered. This is a private cottage set in a wonderful neighborhood of well cared for homes. The surroundings offer interesting architecture, pride in gardens, lots of birds, a community shoping area with character and a Farmer Market which is treat to the eye as much as the palate. It is a peaceful and quiet area of Seattle and Ballard is a great for walking. Liz and Rick are perfect - helpful but not intrusive. They own two wonderful young cats. We will be back.

  • The Cottage is adorable and was just the right size for the two of us. We had the opportunity to meet both Brad and Liz and found them to be very welcoming and friendly. The parking is on the street, but we never had any issues finding a spot right by the house. I would highly recommend this location to any other prospective airbnbers out there.

    Shannon2013-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Brad was very kind. He asked us what are plans were and what kinds of things we liked to do. He then made excellent suggestions about where to go and what to see. Later in our stay, we caught some rare Seattle sunshine and just talked about life and things with Brad and Liz on their porch. The apartment itself is a treasure trove of visual and artistic stimulation. There was always something new to discover. Excellent, excellent hosts and fantastic accomodations.

  • I had an incredibly peaceful time at Brad & Liz's lovely cottage. It was absolutely comfortable, easy, private, clean and with the great vibe of all of Liz's art. Really great place...they were fantastic although we didn't see much of each other but everything felt so easy and mellow. Thank you both and I will absolutely see you again! Hi to my little friend, Jasper who greeted me nightly upon my arrival!

    leslie2012-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • On our trip down the American west coast we were lucky enough to start off at a really special place - Liz's and Brad's garden was just as magical as expected, we were blessed with beautiful weather and we liked Ballard actually more than downtown Seattle! We loved being there, a romantic and peaceful to charge your batteries after the big city buzz, which is pretty much right around the corner! (great to explore the open mic's and music scene of Seattle...) Brad and Liz were great hosts and helped us out as much as they could, it felt more like staying with friends than actually being hosted by complete strangers ;-)

    Donata2013-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Brad & Liz's garden cottage was lovely! My husband and I were surrounded by inspiring art, lush gardens, and friendly cats. Brad and Liz are gracious hosts and we had a great time chatting about the city and their fascinating projects. Also, Ballard is a rad place to stay!

    Nellie2012-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • I couldn't have picked a better spot. This cozy cottage was just what I need for a relaxing weekend away. Great location, walkable.

    Elizabeth2014-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • My parents were in town for a short weekend and stayed at Brand & Liz's cottage. They absolutely loved the location and studio, and were thrilled to see Brad when we were at the Ballard Sunday market. It made them feel like they were in their own neighborhood. Thanks for making them feel right at home!

  • We loved Erik and Pamela's cottage! It is so cute and has everything you could possibly need, they have put a lot of thought into every little detail and it really shows! We did get to meet Erik and had a nice chat, he gave us a lot of great tips on restaurants and the area. Couldn't have asked for a better stay at the Capitol Hill cottage! Can't wait to come back!

    Christine2016-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is an absolute GEM! We had a fabulous time staying here. The space is cozy and every detail is attended to (menus to local restaurants, recommendations, etc.) We especially enjoyed the luxurious heated towel rack and heated mattress pad. Capitol Hill is a great neighborhood to stay in, and this cottage is extremely well situated. It is close to many restaurants and sights, and has the added bonus of being in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Seattle!

    Courtney2013-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay and absolutely couldn't have asked for anything more. Overall the feeling is like having a home away from home! 1.Convenient location – we’re talking walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops … 2.Quiet, comfortable, and good parking (not insignificant!) 3.And how nice was it, on a cool rainy night, to find a corkscrew in the fully equipped kitchen to enjoy a bottle of wine, while watching a movie from the DVD library, in front of a nice warm fire in the fireplace!!! Any return trip to the area will include a return to the Eric & Pamela’s cottage – thanx!

    David2014-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is everything you hope for when you arrive at your AirBnb! It is stylish, well located, clean and welcoming! Erik was on site when we arrived and we enjoyed chatting with him and getting food recommendations. (If you stay here, be sure to stop in to Barjot Cafe for coffee and their baked eggs!) Off street parking is a bonus for a Seattle stay, and we left our car for three days and explored the city by foot. We'll be back! Thanks Erik and Pamela!

    Maggie2014-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • THIS IS THE CUTEST COTTAGE. EVER. We absolutely loved our stay at Erik and Pamela's adorable cottage. Every detail in the cottage was attended to: restaurant menus, a hairdryer, cleaning supplies, logs, iphone charging cords, etc. The fireplace was incredible - we happened to visit Seattle during a particularly rainy and cold weekend....the fireplace kept the cottage romantic and cozy. Their place was within a five-ten minute walk of the hippest places in Capital Hill. Should we get an opportunity to return to Seattle again, we will DEFINITELY stay here! I could not recommend this cottage more!

    Beth2014-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great quaint place in a quiet neighborhood. Exactly as shown. I thought the lack of air conditioning might be an issue but with ample shade it was very comfortable. Close to everything there is to see. Would certainly stay again.

    Erik2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Erik and Pamela are airbnb pros!! My friend and I were so happy and in love with the place. They had everything you could possibly need. We didn't arrive to the apt until 11pm, but it was very easy to access and find the place. They were very accommodating with both our check in and check out times even though we didn't actually meet in person, they were easy to get in touch with. The neighborhood was safe, charming, and beautiful! We were sad to leave our garden cottage, but we definitely plan to stay there again if we make our way back to Seattle.

    Olivia2014-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is tucked into a green oasis on a quiet street. Its simple and comfy inside with everything you need and lots of nice touches. Short walk to good shopping and restaurant, just one hill. :-) All in all it was just about ideal, and I'd definitely go back.

  • Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! It was clean, eclectic, cozy, and quiet. Thanks for the warm welcome, Regina!

  • I cannot think of enough positive things to say about Regina's amazing hospitality and her charming Urban Cottage! I guess I can start with saying that Regina made me feel comfortable about my very first Airbnb stay and my first time in the gorgeous city of Seattle. She was quick to respond to my messages and made everything incredibly easy for my arrival. The Urban Cottage is a wonderful place to stay and is exactly like in the photos, better even! It was great to stay in a relaxing neighborhood but still be able to easily navigate to UW and downtown. The mattress on the bed is like sleeping on a cloud (seriously!) and I woke up feeling refreshed each morning, even with the jet lag I was experiencing. I was fortunate to attend Regina's mindfulness meditation session on Thursday evening where I was made to feel welcome immediately. I wish I lived close enough to attend regularly! I really cannot say enough good about my stay, if you're looking for a homey, yet private experience in Seattle and you have the chance you really should stay at Regina's Urban Cottage DO IT! You won't regret it :)

  • 200% awesome.. 0% poor. Great time, great location and an amazing host :)

    Kolya2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Now I understand why Regina's place has hundreds of glowing reviews. It was a lovely experience. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

    Stacy2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Regina was my first Airbnb stay, and it was the most pleasant first timer place I could've booked. When my friend and I first entered the cottage, we saw that it was well designed and accurate to the photos, and not only that, but the bed made it a restful night after a full day trip in Seattle. Regina is an expert hostess, and made us feel welcomed. I recommend, if it's even possible with its popularity, to stay at this cottage.

    Annielyn2016-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place is in great location-close to all shops and restaurants. Regina was quick to respond and warm. Room was so clean and huge. Couldn't expect any better. Thank you so much Regina!

    Helen2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage, nice neighborhood (wish we had had time to explore it), Regina is a charming host and the arrangements were perfect - we had everything we needed. The room is really nice and big and she has a collection of books.. I love looking at people's bookshelves :) Regina was accommodating and responsive, and made us feel at home. Thank you - we had a wonderful stay!

An oasis minutes from downtown, this loft guest house is it's own unique space with an open floor plan, tall ceilings with lots of natural light, gas stove, radiant floor heating, and a large patio with hot tub and tranquil gardens. Perfect for work or weekend retreat!
This loft guest house is a unique, tranquil space built by the owner himself. Situated on a large property in Beacon Hill, the space has tall ceilings, lot's of natural light and it's own private garden and hot tub.
Beacon Hill is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Seattle, and just minutes from downtown, and right next to the vibrant neighborhoods of Georgetown and Columbia City.
  • The loft was a beautiful space full of bright skylights and warm colors. Great landscaping, and a clear, easy path for guests to walk past the owners house and into the loft was much appreciated. Super cute space, the owner left a nice note and bottle of wine. Thankful for the parking space out front. Glad to have chosen this spot, overall great experience.

    Erin2015-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the loft was an amazing experience. The loft is beautiful, well decorated, clean, and spacious. Behind the loft is a garden and a patio, Malcolm welcomes his guests to pick and eat whatever is growing in the garden that is edible. Hummingbirds are all over the place! The patio has a great table with an umbrella so that when use the grill you can sit outside and eat. There is also a fantastic hot tub. You won't regret staying here, my sister and I did not want to leave. Our experience was perfect, we are completely happy and hope to come stay again soon.

    Jacqueline2016-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Malcolm’s place was outstanding. Great space if you’re looking for a relaxing stay near downtown Seattle. Can’t wait to go back!

    Sebastian2018-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • We have a wonderful time at your place. We were able to hang all day with family here. We made brunch and crafts and watched an old Star Wars movie. Great time had by all. We all agreed that the place is really cool. You have done a great job and I wish many happy years of Airbnb. Thanks again. Dean and Arlin Crane

    Arlin2015-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • ALL the comforts of your own home can be found at Malcolm's beautiful loft. It's spacious and has a lot of windows to let in so much natural light (don't worry, they all have shades/curtains so you can get a good nights sleep.) The deck space is great to enjoy the fresh Pacific Northwest air. We could not have been happier to have stayed at the loft. We felt like locals even if it were for only a few days.

    Su2016-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing quiet and cozy. Once you get to the house you take these stairs on the side of the yard to the the actual property but it looks so nice. Everything matches the description of the property ! Overall it was an amazing place to stay for the weekend (: would defiantly come back again. Didn't get to sign the guest book though cause the pen wasn't working :-( but I do consider staying here again !

    Jose2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very fantastic service!! Very luxurious, and at a great price!! Very worth it!!

    leah2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • LOVE. We truly enjoyed Malcom's loft. The atmosphere alone in the backyard was so peaceful, and we did not feel bothered by any of the other guests or tenants around the property. It was even more beautiful in person, and it was great having a kitchen and plenty of space to relax at night. Great location -- we spent a couple days in the city as well as exploring and hiking -- the loft was a perfect location to be right outside of the city, but close enough to highway to head right to the mountains. Highly recommend !

The Cottage, built in 2016, is tucked behind the main house. It is a fully permitted 350 square feet studio space with a beautifully appointed bathroom. Guests also have the use of the patio seating area and BBQ outside the french doors of the Cottage. The Ballard Backyard Cottage is a 10-15 mins walk to downtown Ballard and around a 20 min car ride to Pike Place in downtown Seattle.
This adorable cottage comes complete with queen bed, hardwood flooring, kitchenette with Farmhouse sink, kitchen island, fridge freezer, Kuerig coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, and induction hot plate. With a 50 gallon water heater there will be enough hot water for all your needs. The high end bathroom is completed with a Kohler sink, toilet and hardware. There is also a closet to hang and store clothes and bags. The cottage is heated via high efficiency electric infra red heaters mounted on the ceiling. There is also a whole house ventilation system to keep the air fresh throughout the year (the switch to turn hi/low or on/off is inside the closet). Free parking is available on the street in front of the Cottage/Main house.
The Seattle neighborhood of Ballard is buzzing with activity, from the many restaurants and bars, to the coffee shops, cinema, bakeries and quirky stores. The Sunday market is a must, as is a visit to the many gelato, and ice creams shops. With Golden Gardens beach, the Ballard Locks and the Nordic Heritage museum all close by, there is plenty to see and do.
  • This place is amazing! Awesome area, incredible hosts, all the small touches that make you feel overly pampered like luxury shampoos and hair tools, comfy sheets and a beautiful patio area. 100% recommend and would totally stay here again. Stay here!

  • Bev & Grant's cottage was a perfect spot for a week long business trip. I felt like I had a home for a week, instead of a borrowed room. They provided all of the basics in a quiet and convenient location. I liked it so much I booked again for my next trip to Seattle on the first night there.

    Derek2017-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • It was the perfect stay! Such a cute, clean, and cozy place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

    Katie2016-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect cottage with updated finishes. Super comfortable and quiet. The hosts were experts at anticipating my needs - from the toothpaste packets (i forgot mine!) in the bathroom to the fresh milk in the frig for morning coffee. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you’ll undoubtedly enjoy it!

    Kristi2017-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a lovely, modern, clean, cozy, warm studio with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Check in was easy and Bev was so sweet!

    Patricia2017-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was a perfect getaway for my husband and I surrounded by great restaurants and breweries.

    Tari2017-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was fantastic and met all of our needs for the week. It was in a great location, very comfortable and street parking was a breeze. I would highly recommend staying here and will book again in the future.

    Marissa2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • The Backyard Cottage exceeded our expectations. Tucked away on a quiet street, the cottage is very clean and quiet. The French doors open on to a small sitting area that is protected by trees. Bev communicated frequently without being one bit intrusive and was flexible and warm. The Cottage is conveniently located within easy walking distance of down-town Ballard. We would stay there again in a second.

We designed and built this modern/rustic tiny house and are excited to share it with you! (Chad is an architect and Lindsay is a graphic designer; together we obsessed over every detail of the house.) The house is located in the heart of West Seattle in a quiet neighborhood minutes away from the Alaska Junction (restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores, boutiques, Sunday farmers market), Lincoln Park, Alki Beach and more. Downtown Seattle is a quick drive/bus/water taxi away.
The tiny house is an excellent fall/winter get away. Listen to the rain fall on the metal roof as you read a book in the comfortable loft bed with thick down comforter. The cozy cabin feel is great for lounging on the sofa next to the electric fireplace and putting on a movie (Netflix, Hulu, etc. and we have a variety of DVDs in the house). We also have surround sound! Three people is the max that could fit in the tiny house. Two in the loft and one on the sofa. Due to the loft/ladder, we do not recommend infants. Young children can sleep on the sofa. Tipsy is located perched on a higher level of our backyard in West Seattle. We have done our best to create a private space for you--new reclaimed wood planters (coming soon: limes, lemons, cherry tomatoes, jalapenos, etc.) divide our home and yours. There are two lounge chairs to enjoy a glass of wine (weather permitting!). The tiny house is plumbed like a normal house and has a fully enclosed shower and flushing toilet. Sign the guest book! We would love to hear from you!
The West Seattle neighborhood is a favorite of Seattlites--known for its friendly people, stellar views, excellent restaurants and bars, and most famously, Alki Beach.
  • This place is an absolute Gem, and I am already thinking about my next visit. I chose this place for my wedding night instead of staying with family nearby prior to embarking on the next leg of our honeymoon. I am so glad I did! The hosts made sure there were some thoughtful touches to acknowledge our special celebration, but the place would have been amazing even without those. It is a thoughtfully designed space, and feels more spacious and luxurious than I was expecting. Very stylish COMFORTABLE, and well-considered furnishings, lighting, kitchen, and bathroom; the place was warm and cozy, and beautiful. I really appreciated the infographic welcome and information sheet the hosts provided to acquaint us to the amenities and to the neighborhood. Everything was intuitive. An exemplary piece of good design, and I will absolutely be back. Thank you so!

  • This was truly a wonderful surprise in the middle of West Seattle. What a wonderful quaint home these two have made, and a truly unforgettable experience we will never forget! I can't wait to come back again.

  • Tipsy tiny was pretty awesome. It felt a lot bigger than it was and I got a better sleep than I would've ever thought I could in such a small space. Proximity to downtown Seattle and Alki beach also make this a smart choice

Our Little House is easy walking distance from some of Seattle's best coffee, restaurants, markets and retail stores. The house, formerly a garage, was completely renovated in 2013. It sits behind our main house and includes shared access to a courtyard, outdoor seating and a BBQ grill.
The house is 363 square feet and contains a sleeping loft accessed by a ship style ladder. Guests access the house through a separate gate at the end of our driveway, which opens into the courtyard. The house is quiet and comfortable complete with a kitchen, small fridge, living area and bathroom. The queen sized bed is new as of September 2016. When Benjamin was 9, he vacationed with his family in a loft style cabin. His love of lofts started and grew from there. Originally built as a guest house for family and friends and used as an occasional home office, we decided to open it up to travelers who want to visit Seattle and in particular our community of Ballard.
Ballard is a popular Seattle neighborhood with a rich Scandinavian heritage and history as a "sleepy fishing village." Ballard isn't sleepy anymore. Our neighborhood is hopping with retail, nightlife and great restaurants. Independent shops including two record and CD stores, an independent bookstore and many non-chain restaurants and retail stores. We have easy access to the Metro bus just one block away from our place. A short 15 minute ride by car or bus puts you downtown near the WA state ferries, Pike's market, the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Golden Gardens (one of our favs) is two miles away and has a beach including views of the Olympic mountains and the Puget Sound. Our Airbnb guidebook has recommendations for many of our top places. If you are looking for something not covered in the guidebook, let us know and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
  • We loved our stay in this tiny house! It was perfect for a weekend of exploring Seattle and had even more fun locally in Ballard. The house was beautiful and comfortable for couples, but close quarters for more than two. Hosts were very thoughtful, accommodating, and easy to communicate with.

  • The little house was a perfect place for us to stay when visiting Seattle. It's centrally located and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and neat, the bed was super comfy and felt very homey. Loved it and would recommend and stay again!

  • This was perfect for our 2-night stay in Ballard and surprisingly affordable for the amazing accommodations. My husband and I thought the bed was comfortable and the street was quiet. The house was very clean. The patio and backyard are lovely. Fabulous location! Only 2 blocks to a great coffee shop (Java Bean) with delicious breakfast sandwiches, and a few more blocks to all the awesomeness of old town Ballard. At Benjamin's suggestion, we had tapas and cocktails at Ocho's...delicious! We also had wonderful cocktails at Hazlewood which is a few steps down from Ocho's. Benjamin did a wonderful job communicating with us before our stay and we were able to chat in person for a bit while we were there. He was down-to-earth, friendly, and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

    Lindsay2017-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • The little house is quite unique. I love the house is like to be at home. The decor is pretty nice and environment is quiet. If the bathroom has small hand wash sink and little mirror that will be perfect. :)

    Mei2018-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • A really fantastic place to stay.

    Benjamin2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at Benjamin's place. It was the perfect setup for us with all the basics covered. There was plenty of natural light with all the windows and doors, but should we need privacy, there we're blinds on every window and door. The skylight above the bed was such a neat addition to watch the stars (or rain/snow!) at night. The only thing I would note as something to keep in mind is that the toilet is in the shower area, so if someone else is taking a shower, you need to wait until they're done to use the toilet (and then walk across a wet floor). Also, the water heater lasted about 5 minutes for us, so one of us would take a shower and then wait for the water to heat up again and then take a shower. I would say that that was the only "surprise" but overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and it was great for us! Would definitely stay again!

  • Ben's Tiny House was an experience unlike any other! Truly everything you could need or want to have during your visit and located in the cool neighborhood of Ballard. Everything is just as it's pictured and the area is truly walkable for anything you might need. We had a rental car as a "just in case" mode of transportation and seriously completed our visit only having driven 53 miles. I highly recommend the Java Beans Cafe Mole if you want a unique coffee experience. We couldn't say enough about the location or visit! Big Thanks to Ben and his family for the hospitality, communication and unique venue for our trip! We can't want to visit again.

  • My husband and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Benjamin's Little House. Great communication, cute and clean little house, fun neighborhood to explore. We parked our car on Friday night and didn't move it until Sunday morning. Loved the Theo chocolate bar. The loft can be a little bit claustrophobic, but very comfortable bed. Enjoyed nearby bars and restaurants Brambling Cross, McCleod's, Hazelwood, Golden Beetle, and Arashi Ramen. Cool place.

This open plan one bedroom enjoys a unique location at the intersection of the Downtown Shopping District, Financial District and Capitol Hill. It's within easy walking distance of the downtown tourist attractions, and within three blocks of almost all King County and Metro transit lines including the Link Light Rail connecting to SeaTac Airport. The apartment has a ton of character - original 1912 hardwood floors and moldings, 12 foot ceilings, bay windows, and a lovely view of Elliott Bay, West Seattle, and the Olympic Mountains on a good day. A full roster of digital cable channels are at your disposal, along with speedy and dependable wireless internet access.
  • As per usual, Lauren was a great host. Her communication was accurate and timely and everything at the place was in good order. It was a great place to stay for my business trip.

    Jeremiah2016-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • I had very good experience while staying . Lauren is kind and nice, and she was very quick and responsive to our request. Place was well cleaned as well.

    JiSoo2016-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren was a great host, although we never had the opportunity to meet her, she was available by phone anytime we had a question to ask. The apartment was just as described and in a great location, walking distance to any sites we wanted to see. Would definitely stay there again on our future travels to Seattle.

    Fiona2016-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • The place: Plenty of room for a couple in the one bedroom. Extra room on the couch if necessary. Kitchen was just enough! I drink a lot of water at night so the Britta filter was clutch. Shelf space in the bathroom plus towels and any toiletries you might have forgotten (except a toothbrush but you should bring your own anyway) There were earplugs in the bathroom and you're gonna need them, even when construction is done (and construction was all over the city). It's close to I-5 so traffic, horns, and sirens is to be expected. You'll also hear water heater noises. The host: Lauren was always available to help or answer any questions. Provided us with what we needed anything to make the place feel more like home. A great host! The location: 10 minute walk to Pike Place. 3 minute walk to the beautiful Library (seriously). And 10 minute walk to the Pioneer Square LINK station, which is right across from Biscuit Bitch, an incredible breakfast spot. Location was great. But like I said, close to the highway. Uber anywhere else because parking is expensive downtown.

    Mike2017-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Lauren's apartment. We found the apartment very clean and spacious. Lauren was great to deal with and very easy going. The apartment was within walking distance to Pike Market and the city centre. Unfortunately there was construction noise adjacent to the building that started early morning but otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

    Melissa2015-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • I was hoping for the apt to be ok, but found it to be wonderful. I had the nicest experience. GREAT location! I walked through a park to the convention center; walked 2 blocks to work out at a great YMCA fitness center. The apt is older but utterly charming, airy and romantic. The second the charming hostess, Lauren, left me I called my wife and begged her to fly up to enjoy the charming place with me.

    Carl And Marianne2012-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren's place a perfect one and satisfied all our requirements. It is very close to major landmarks. The place was clean and cozy. We enjoy 😊 ever minute we were there. Lauren is a tremendous host and keep an excellent communication during all our experience. I highly recommend this place.

    Odette2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren was an amazing host! She met me at the apartment, showed me around her very warm and charming abode, and also offered suggestions on things to do and see in Seattle! She made herself available to answer questions and coordinate the departure. Every part of the stay went so perfect. And after a long day of sightseeing and then a night on the town, it was incredibly nice to come back to such an amazing place. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Lauren for your hospitality! See you in Seattle on my next trip.

Sunny, cozy space. Ideal for a couple, close friends or just one person. Natural light, hardwood floors, and very quiet residential area. Please note that this is a lived-in space that I rent out when I’m away. There's a Safeway around the corner, with a Starbucks inside too. You’ll also find a cute plant shop on the first floor of the apartment building, in case you wanted to pick up a little souvenir. Quick 10 min walk to bars, restaurants, and other coffee shops! Walk score 89
Please note that it's quite small, 279 sq ft total. There are two stovetops, a microwave and a mini-fridge. (No oven!) There's also a roof deck one flight up that's ideal for grilling or just hanging out. Technically, you could fit four people in here if you share the beds.
Off Capitol Hill, so you'll have plenty of access to great food and bars nearby. Street parking is free, two hours at a time.
  • We came in late from the train but Stephanie was flexible with that which was very kind. The location was perfect, less than ten minutes to the train station and Pike Place Market. The apartment was very cozy and quiet and had everything we needed- a comfy bed and clean bathroom! Perfect for your stay in Seattle on a budget.

    Catherine2018-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was the perfect size to have a place to relax and sleep in, and having a Safeway downstairs was an amazing convenience! Stephanie is a friendly and helpful host, I would definitely stay again!

    Austin2018-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie was great with directions and instructions to find and enter the apartment. It's a cozy space in a great location and a great value.

    Shea2018-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • I loved Stephanie's space! Why get a room somewhere, when you can have a studio space to yourself. It was minutes away from great restaurants and bars and there is a Safeway/Starbucks nextdoor for anything you might need.

    Paul2018-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing and what a great value! It’s perfect for 1-2 people who won’t be spending a lot of time in the room but need a comfy place to sleep and shower. We bought Orca cards to take public transit everywhere and didn’t feel Stephanie’s place was far from main attractions. In fact, on the last day we walked from the main shops and restaurants in Capitol Hill back and it was a nice 15-20 min walk. Stephanie is a great host, quick to respond and made checking in and out easy. We will definitely keep this place saved for the next time we visit Seattle!

    Lai2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie's place is perfectly located -- with a Safeway less than a minute away, it is the perfect place to grab a bottle of wine and hang out with a friend or your partner. We enjoyed how clean and nicely decorated the space was, and Stephanie was very responsive! Highly recommend.

    Sharon2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie was very kind and very flexible. We arrived at the place hour later then expected but she responded to us within a minute. I really appreciate her kindness. Great location with great value! Definitely would like to visit again!

Privacy + convenience. Walk to everything Capitol Hill has to offer - our place is a 15 min walk to the light rail station, across the street from Trader Joe's, and minutes from everything. Huge private suite with queen-size memory foam bed, desk, couch and in-suite full bathroom - tons of privacy inside our brand new townhouse! We're an entrepreneurial couple welcoming travelers into our home. We're pretty hands-off, but feel free to ask us for recommendations :) Update: Wifi working great!
Large room with in-suite bathroom, in a new townhouse close to everything Capitol Hill and Downtown!
Within a 5 min walk to the heart of Capitol Hill, but slightly removed so you can sleep in peace. Across the street from Trader Joe's for your grocery needs.
  • Bueno!

    Ryan2017-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot in a great location for a reasonable price. Very easy check in and out and a nice private room with private bathroom.

    Mark2017-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Yifan and Geoff are pretty much model Airbnb hosts. Their communication was fast and very clear, and there was no confusion about access to the room or anything else, which can sometimes be a problem with Airbnb. The location was awesome, and was within walking distance of everything I needed, including a convenience store and two full on grocery stores. I was attending a conference at the Washington State Convention Center, and was able to walk there in about 20 minutes every day (it's just over a mile away). I can't think of anything you could need that isn't within walking distance of their place. The house is in a nice neighborhood and I never felt for a moment unsafe or uneasy. The thing that really put this room over the top for me was the attached in-suite, private bathroom, complete with a shower and bath tub. At this price and location a full size private bathroom can be hard to come by. The bathroom also had one of the best features of hotels- those seemingly impossibly dry and absorbent towels. The room also has a couch and a small desk, which was very convenient for me, as I was working a lot while there. The internet was also fast and easily accessed. They do have a small dog, who will greet you at the door, but she's very friendly. Depending on who you are, that could be a good thing or bad thing. I didn't mind the dog at all. Overall, I would certainly recommend Yifan and Geoff's place to someone looking for an affordable place to stay in Seattle that has everything you need in a great location.

    Evin2017-10-25T00:00:00Z

This is a cozy and inviting room in an old and worn Victoria house up on a hill in the Central District of Seattle. The room itself is small- but it has its own private bathroom, desk, and little closet to hang up clothes. If you are looking for a unique experience in an eclectic and artsy environment- this is the place for you. The house itself is a work of art - bohemian, antique, and truly one of a kind! Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers traveling on a budget. Welcome!
You will see many different instruments laying around the house- feel free to play them! You may hear us tinkering around with instruments as well but we try to keep quiet hours between 10pm-10am. We are marijuana friendly and are very close to two great Seattle Dispensaries- Check Out Uncle Ike's and Ponder Weed Dispensaries. You can smoke weed in our house but please no cigarettes. Also check out Fat's Chicken and Waffles (good weekend brunch), Also, in our neighbourhood we have a grocery store a few blocks away (Grocery Outlet) along with great Ethiopian restaurants nearby. Please note that the house is OLD . Noise travels! If you are a light sleeper- beware there is creaky steps and floorboards. Just a heads-up!
The Central District hosts some amazing coffee shops- try Cortona Coffee on Union and 25th. Also check out the dispensaries and healing/acupuncture shops on Union. A great free art museum near by is called the Frye. Around the corner from us is the Twilight Exit which is a great bar (also has great food)- Sunday is Karaoke night. Its "sister" bar is The Neighbor Lady which is only a short walk away. The Central District is located just South of Capitol Hill and a short ride to downtown Seattle!

  • Good inexpensive place. Lizzy is very nice. It's not fancy but it works!

    Jill2017-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy and Lizzy's room worked perfect for me. I came into town to meet friends and hit a concert. Communication was awesome, room had a lot of character, and location was great. Very, very nice people. Thanks guys!

    Jordan2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Lizzy’s house was very comfortable. The room was small but just what we needed for a couple of nights, and the attached bathroom was nice to have. Lizzy left a list of recommendations for food im the neighborhood that was very helpful. We also appreciated all the different art and trinkets throughout the house!

    Cody2018-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lizzy's place is amazing. I had to stay there because of some issues with my apartment, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The private bathroom really makes the experience and the bed was unreasonably comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this location.

    Jac2018-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Their place was cute, in a very quiet part of the neighborhood. I would def recommend staying there.

    Jennifer2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy and Lizzy werde very nice. Their Little Castle has loads of charme. Easy walks and bus rides to anyplace one would like to go. Liked the place a lot. 'Bed might be a bit short for large people > 6 feet, but very comfortable'

    Kay2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Cute doggos, quiet neighborhood, clean space, comfortable bed, Netflix: overall a great stay. Very kind ladies at the house with lots of good tips and information to give you on your trip in Seattle. The room is on the smaller side and the bathroom is shared but that was not a problem for us. Parking was no problem. About a 20 min drive to Pike's place!

    Kino2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot if you are ok driving downtown. The value is fair considering the City has high prices for hotels. Other then the distance from Downtown, we were happy. Very nice area and very comfy bed but much further then we wanted to be from Downtown. The address doesn't show up until you pay so its so hard to know this until its too late All in all, good stay! Nice people and fun dogs :D

  • Sheila and Kim have an amazing home. It's gorgeously styled, provides a great overnight stay, and is convenient to downtown as well as a great mountain view. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Sheila and Kim (and their super-cute and friendly pomeranians) were great hosts. The room was very comfortable, and made an excellent home base for our stay in Seattle. The hosts made my girlfriend and I feel very welcome, and gave us helpful advice about the city. We would absolutely recommend them to other folks visiting Seattle.

    Dylan2015-08-19T00:00:00Z

  • Tracey was the kindest and most welcoming host! My friend and I were exhausted after a full day of traveling, and Tracey's home was the perfect stop for us. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable, thoughtfully put together, and only a short Lyft ride from SeaTac Airport. Tracey herself was such a joy to meet, and communication with her was concise and clear. she really went the extra mile and I couldn't be more grateful!!

    Gerald2018-01-16T00:00:00Z

  • Tracey was a fantastic host and easy to communicate with. The room is clean and has the necessary items for a short term stay. Overall I had a positive experience at Tracey's place, but I want to bring up one thing which may affect your stay. The shower is not tall people friendly because the shower head is not adjustable. I did not have a problem, but I can imagine it being uncomfortable for anyone over 6 ft tall.

    Eugene2018-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay at Tracey's place. Room was clean and comfortable. Tracey was a terrific hostess.

Your private bedroom and bathroom is located on the lower level of the house. The queen bed features a high-end firm mattress. On a sunny morning, the room can fill with sunlight. Alternatively, draw the blinds and curtains for a nice, quiet sleep in. Extra blankets and space heater are provided for those who run cold. Your private bathroom is located just steps outside the door to your room. It is stocked with amenities such as shampoo, toothpaste, and clean fluffy towels.
My cute craftsman features an open floor plan allowing for lovely flow from the kitchen through the dining room to the living room. The kitchen features granite counter tops, gas cooking, and restaurant grade appliances. Feel free to use the microwave and fridge at your convenience. Let me know if you’d like to cook; I’d be happy to assist you. The living room focuses around a wood burning fireplace. Weather permitting, I’d be happy to build a fire for you. Please feel free to use the large flat screen. It is connected to a Roku and a DVD player. Sorry, no cable. There is also an elliptical machine you are welcome to use. The living room opens up to a balcony that runs the length of the house. It has both seating and dining areas. Basked in sunlight most of the day, it can be a great place to relax. The balcony looks out over the large yard, herb gardens, and fire pit. Again, weather permitting, I’d be happy to build a fire for you. PARKING-Ample free street parking INTERNET-Free high speed wifi LAUNDRY-facilities are available for use upon request. Please provide your own detergent and dryer sheets. ***Cuteness Disclaimer*** I have a chinchilla named Casey that is contained in his own room of the house. Magnolia is a quiet residential neighborhood located on a peninsula northwest of downtown. It is one of the city’s safest neighborhoods. Walking distance from: -Grocery store -Restaurants -Bars -Cafes (My favorite, Caffe Appassionato, just a 5 min walk) -Multiple parks including Seattle’s largest, Discovery Park -Fisherman's Terminal with the Fisherman’s memorial, a beautiful view of Salmon Bay, Ballard Bridge, and Chinooks (one of my favorite restaurants). -Ballard Locks and Salmon Ladder -Ballard, a neighborhood to the north known for quaint shops, night life, brunch spots, and Sunday Farmers’ Market. If you’d like to venture further afield, the house is just a 20 minute bus ride or a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Seattle and attractions like Seattle Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Pacific Science Center, EMP, Seattle Center, Lake Union, Gasworks park, and so much more.

    Adam2018-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • The place was beautiful and clean. The internet went out, which was a slight bummer to not be able to watch a show, but there were some fun games available to us which we were able to try. Janessa tried to get it working remotely, but it was no fault of hers and probably doesn't happen very often. A great, quiet place to stay.

  • Janessa was a great communicator. Her place was nice, clean, and the bed was super comfy. The location is only a block and half off of an awesome urban bike trail that you can take from the ferry terminal to Ballard (and further I assume) without too much uphill.

    Shea2018-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • All posted positive comments were accurate so we had no surprises. Did not get to meet our host, but all was in order so our short stay was quiet and uneventful. The well stocked snack closet was appreciated. We contributed to the snack fund to encourage it’s continuance. The home and room were clean, tidy and very organized. This was a great location for picking up our friends at Pire 91 returning from a cruise. Would stay here again.

    Bradley2018-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Janessa was such a wonderful host! The thoughtful touches she put into our stay to ensure we felt comfortable and at home really made us feel welcome. She was also extremely friendly and personable. I would HIGHLY recommend this AirBnb to anyone and everyone! Beautiful home, wonderful location, and the best host we could’ve asked for!

    Grace2018-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Janessa’s place was great for our short stay in Seattle. It was easy to get downtown via public transit and Janessa herself was a very thoughtful host, the snack cupboard is a great touch!

Welcome to Tully Towers, our townhome in the beautiful Wallingford neighborhood. Stay with us and enjoy a generous continental breakfast! There's also easy access to downtown, UW, and surrounding neighborhoods.
The guest bedroom is on the ground floor with its own private bathroom. There's a 'kitchenette' area within the room with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and all the basics you'll need for your stay. Guests can enjoy private access to our back courtyard and there's also a washer/dryer available for your use.
Wallingford is a vibrant, friendly, and safe neighborhood. The main street (45th) has it all: grocery store, pharmacy, quaint boutiques, many restaurants/bars/cafes, and even a movie theatre - all within walking distance. You can also walk to Gas Works Park and enjoy amazing views of Seattle across Lake Union or hike/bike the Burke-Gilman Trail.
  • This is an awesome place. Book it if you have a chance. We booked this place at the very last moment, as our travel plan had changed. Debbie's response was quick, attentive, accommodating, and courteous. Better than we expected, this deserves a star. The actual place looks better than the photos displayed on the site, which is more spacious. Plus, it opens to a quite backyard. Despite the weather is not ideal, we enjoys the green view. Better than we expected, this deserves a second star. This place is really clean. Bed is comfortable, pillow is nice. The love seats have cushion and blankets, so we can chill out side by side. Small touches like these make a more wholesome experience, better than we expected, this deserves a third star. Debbie and Mike gives us a well-stocked refrigerator for breakfast items and snacks. Juice, milk, coffee, tea, popcorn, chocolate, muffins, and soft drinks... More healthy choices such as fruits and cereals can also be found. At the very first moment that we checked-in, we already have them (compared to only breakfast time the following morning) -- better than we expected, this deserves a fourth star. The last STAR goes to their philosophy and character. I can feel that the hosts already trust their guests as a responsible adults, even though we are basically strangers. The way they share their property and belongings to us show it. We as a guest have a tendency to treat them (and the whole lodging experience) likewise with respect and care. This place is well maintained. This is a FIVE-star place. Thank you Debbie and Mike. P.S. -- I personally love their book shelf, such a great variety of great works. That deserves an extra star, if I may add. So, all in all, this place offers a above and beyond experience.

  • Tully Towers is tucked away on a quiet street in Wallingford, one of Seattle's older residential neighborhoods. It's just up the hill from Gasworks park, only 1 mile from the University District, and a short bus ride from downtown. With WA state taxes and fees, our stay was 100 bucks a night, which really is a great deal for the central location and ample street parking. Debbie and Mike welcomed me, my husband, and 4-month old baby personally to their home, and we had all the privacy and quiet that we needed. The room is spacious with a comfy queen-sized (?) bed, armchairs, a little kitchen space with a microwave, fridge, and dishes, and a separate but private bath with full tub and shower. The sliding glass doors look out onto a lovely courtyard that provides lots of natural light. I enjoyed perusing the eclectic collection of books that adorn one wall. Generous provisions of fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, tea, coffee, and mini-muffins meant that we didn't have to go looking for breakfast the next day, which was much appreciated with a little baby. I know that Debbie and Mike listed this place as "may not be suitable for young children". It's too small for a family, but if you're traveling with a baby and bring a travel bassinet as we did, it's perfect. And if you're visiting Seattle alone or as a couple, I couldn't imagine a better place from which to see the city.

    Claire2017-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Debbie at Mike's. The room was perfect with patio space, comfortable pillows, and many books to peruse. The breakfast treats and snacks were so sweet. We walked or taxied everywhere and found their neighborhood to be safe, yet accessible. I would highly recommend!

  • Charming hosts. Quiet location. Would definitely stay again.

    Hannah2017-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay at Debbie and Mike's place! It was so clean, quiet, and comfortable -- it felt like we were at home. Debbie provided coffee, fresh milk, muffins, juice, yogurt, snacks, etc. It was absolutely amazing and really saved us time and money in the mornings. Without being prompted, they messaged us to let us know where the iron & ironing board were located -- a life saver after traveling right before a wedding (thanks for reading our minds)! We loved each conversation that we had with Debbie and Mike in passing -- they are lovely people with a lovely home. Their kindness is apparent in every thing that they do for their guests (i.e., letting us leave our luggage at their place due a red eye flight). We cannot wait to return to Seattle and stay here again! Thanks so much for everything -- from Jennie & Mike.

    Michael2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • The room Debbie had that we rented out was fantastic! Lots of little touches that make the stay convenient and comfortable. The area is outstanding, as it's a quick walk to a few locals spots and in a great and safe neighborhood. Debbie was also a great host and would check in often enough but never encroach on our space. The tips and referrals for local spots or things to do helped us out on our trip for what to do in the city during the time we were staying there as well and added to our experience. I would highly recommend staying with Debbie!

    David2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great host. Great location. Great all around. This is exactly what I was looking for. Debbie was easy to communicate with and worked with me when my travel plans changed last minute. This place has everything you need and more. You can walk 5 minutes and be surrounded by local shops and great restaurants. Awesome neighborhood feel. I had a rental car and found ample street parking. Debbie greeted me with a smile and was an awesome host. The extras like a fridge stocked with milk, juice and pastries made my stay even sweeter. Love those little touches when traveling!

    Jordan2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Debbie and Mike are charming, gracious hosts. Their Wallingford neighborhood is lovely and very convenient. The room is even better than advertised: well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable, with the best eclectic books we've seen in an Airbnb! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • I stayed in the Nature Room at Dario's Captital Hill BNB and enjoyed myself immensely! The decor and feel of the room were very peaceful, the bed was extra comfy, and the balcony off the room was a special surprise. If you are looking for a place that is close to nightlife, restaurants, and all that the city has to offer..this is the place to go! Very organized, clean, and affordable. I would definitely stay again!

  • Good value place to stay

    James2017-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • My experience at Dario's place was better than I expected, especially in regards to the place's location and amenities. The area is lovely and just a stone's throw from downtown. The bathroom and kitchen were very well equipped as well. My only concerns were finding the door unlocked a couple of times, making me feel unsafe. Also, when I first entered the room, I perceived a funny smell, so I wished the room was aired more often or that they used natural odor observers like baking soda or something like that. Overall I am pretty happy with the place and service. I would stay there again.

    Drew2017-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place is right next to Capitol Hill, which is a very lively area for food, drinks, nightlife, and really good ice cream. Parking is extremely difficult in this area, but it is the same throughout the entire Seattle area, so don't be surprised when you get here. Most parking lots say All Day, but they really only include 10 hours of parking then you have to purchase another ticket for overnight parking, which also ends at 7 or 8am.

This six bedroom shared house is in a quiet Jewish community just a 1.1mile walk to the Othello light rail station & a .8mile walk to Seward Park. It's a very peaceful area, and is convenient to the airport and also downtown Seattle, by light rail, car or Uber. Parking is available. Your private room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The host does not live on site.
Your room is on the upper floor, up the stairs upon entering the house. Take a right through the doorway and your room is the second bedroom on the right. It is furnished with a queen bed. It also has small fan, personal floorboard heaters, work desk w/lamps and closet space with hangers. The shared bathroom is located on the same hallway as the bedroom for which you have booked. It will be the first door on the left when walking from the living area. The towels are either stacked on shelving or in cabinets within the corresponding bathroom. Please limit time to 15-20min to respect the other house guests. Remember to turn off any lights you may turn on.
This Seward Park neighborhood is a quiet Jewish community just a 1.1mile walk to the Othello light rail station which makes it easy to commute to and from the house. Also, just a short .8mile walk to Seward Park on Bailey Peninsula in Lake Washington means one can enjoy the natural beauty of Washington from within the city.

  • Our stay was what we expected. Overall cleanliness was good. The house was quiet and all followed the house rules. Friendly nice neighborhood. The kitchen was quite useful and there was great communication from Darius. There is a great deck. It just needs chairs.

  • The house was a great place to stay. Comforting and inviting. A 30 minute walk to Columbia City.

    Claire2018-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This room was unfortunately not worth the price that I paid to stay for a week. It might be a decent place to stay for one night, but there were a lot of things necessary for a longer stay that were not included. For example, there was no mirror in the room, and you are only allowed one towel for your entire stay, with no ability to do laundry. Also, it isn't clear how many people there are staying in the house. There are two other rooms on the same floor, and many more rooms downstairs. It is especially loud on weekends because of the thin walls. Any slight noise can be heard throughout the house. There is also only one bathroom for the whole floor, and it was very difficult to have time to get ready because other people were constantly in the bathroom. I would have used the room, but again, there was no mirror.

    Sandra2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable room. Highly recommend.

    Alfredo2018-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very and beyond clean. This place seems like it's used for airbnb professionally, and you probably feel comfortable like a clean hotel except the affordable price :) only downside is the location is a little far from the downtown. But if you are driving it shouldn't be an issue.

  • The room is really nice and clean. The bed is super comfy. The hostess is super nice and welcoming. Our only issue is the area. Our car and several others in the neighborhood were broken into. So be careful of leaving things in the car and make sure it is locked and no valuables inside.

    Emma2018-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at Beth's place was really nice! She is very sweet, a good listener and very welcoming! Just a really nice and genuine person. My stay was short, but I felt very welcome and really happy to be there. Next time when i'm in Seattle, for a longer time, I would definitely go back to Beth's place! The room is cozy, comfortabel bed, nice breakfast and everything is very clean! Good location as well. Thanks Beth, for everything! Say hi to Didi for me;)

  • Bethy's so lovely & sweet person! her family as well. She's friendly, down to earth and very hospitable host. Enjoyed talking about random stuff with her and I got so much energy from her. Thanks Bethy! :D Everything was 100% accurate as described, communication was great too. Very clean, comfortable, convenient to transportation/grocery stores, safe and quiet neighbors. Fresh coffee was made every morning and that was beautiful. I highly recomend her place! I just wonder,,, why isn't she a Super Host yet???

    Emiko2015-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • She is really nice and kind. The room was very cozy and clean. I could use a lovely kitchen and washroom as well. Even though here is little bit far away from downtown, I'd like to go over again.

  • I spent a week in Beth's place and I wanted to stay another week but unfortunately for me, all her rooms were fully booked. The rooms were as advertised with bottled water, clean towels etc but my favourite feature was Beth's sensitivity. When I'm jet-lagged she will leave me to nap the day away and when I want to explore, she's full of ideas. As I was leaving for another AirBnB, Beth's mother was so sweet to drive me there! Thanks Beth & Didi for your kindness

This is one folding beds in the main hall of the Temple. You will be sharing space with others and the Buddha's. The beds are separated by Shoji screens for privacy. The kitchen and bathrooms are shared with the other guests and facility manager.
The space is the main hall of a Buddhist Temple. This is the traditional way that pilgrims and travelers enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. We also now have a new shower.
We are located in the historic Seattle Chinatown. Lots of great food and entertainment. These are the streets that Bruce Lee once walked.
  • Next to China town and the train station, the temple is nicely located. Friendly host, with flexibility with my busy touristic schedule : once I got the keys, I could come in and out as I wish. Wifi access was really handy. Thanks for the stay !

  • Be adventurous and stay at a Buddhist temple instead of some plain Jane house (-: Welcoming, flexible on check in time, peaceful and clean. Mike was very friendly. Check out the near by park with the stairs that light up at night pretty cool! Downtown is just a 10 min Lyft ride to the more popular bars and nightclubs. Tip- Don't miss Ivars fish bar for some excellent fish and chips.

  • It's a good place in international district and you can reach out to everywhere with or without public transportation. I stayed there three nights which is long enough without shower. I would recommend a night or two would be great. It's quiet religious place which I'm used to and it's gonna be strange for some people. If you are night person, this place is not for you since you don't have a chance to even take a nap in daytime. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I love the this place.

    Zaw Win2016-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Extremely peaceful, comfortable and convenient. I appreciate Mike's willingness to meet me outside and his flexibility regarding my train's delayed arrival.

    Marise2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable stay, good for short trips. Note that there's no shower, but there is a YWCA nearby as others have mentioned. There is space for at least three beds in the main hall so you might be staying with a couple other people... I recommend bringing earplugs! Mike was welcoming and very accommodating about check-in times.

  • Bill is such a wonderful host. The place is like a gallery, very sweet, very comfortable, very convenient to go anywhere, and have a great view of Seattle. I'd recommend this place to my friends. If I got a chance I'll stay here again. The best Airbnb ever.

    Yumin2018-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Bill's place was comfortable, and conveniently located to downtown. He was a gracious and helpful host.

    Nikita2018-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Bill was very friendly. Clean place, convenient location, great price!

    Kimberly2018-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Bill is so cool!

    Casy2018-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bill's place was clean, convenient, and super-comfortable! We had to check in really late and he was extremely friendly and accommodating. The bed is comfortable, the room is clean and quiet, and the shower is nice! The bathroom is shared - which was totally fine - but conveniently there's a separate sink in the room, too. We would happily visit again. Our only regret was not being able to spend more time there!

    Shivani2018-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Seattle is an amazing place, stay with Bill is one of the reasons why we like it! Bill’s place is great, it’s classic and unique, we like it very much! Also, Bill is so kind and easy to communicate, he gave us a lot of help and advice for our trip. Next time we visit Seattle again we will definitely come back here!

    Jo2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Bill is nice, welcoming, and well traveled. His condo is on top of a hill with a gorgeous view of the city.

    Estefany2018-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • Bill was a lovely host who kindly picked us when we arrived late at the train station. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. It was even nice having a separate vanity. There were some external works happening to the building and Bill let us know well in advance and also offered a discount on our stay. We didn’t even notice the noise!! We used the bus and found Uber pool super cheap to get around from his home.

Barn 11 is a small 300sf rustic wood structure located on a tree-lined side-street in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, near dozens of shops and restaurants and just one mile from Downtown Seattle. Rate includes free parking in our parking lot, and WiFi. Breakfast service is not included or available.
Barn 11 has wood floors, kitchenette, bathroom, upstairs bedroom, parking, and WiFi. Downstairs ceiling is 7'4" high, however headroom on the stairs, and in the upstairs bedroom, is lower. The unit is not recommended for guests over 6' tall, or for guests who are not comfortable going up and down the steep and narrow open staircase.
We are 1.0 mile from Downtown Seattle - a 20 minute walk, and 1.5 miles from the Pike Place Market and from Seattle Center where the Space Needle is - a 30 minute walk. Most of our guests walk to Downtown. We're near dozens of Capitol Hill restaurants, shops, and a popular park.
  • A wonderful stay in a cute, updated and clean "tiny home" - David provided a huge list of suggestions/tips for the surrounding neighborhood and city itself. Being so close to the city center (about 1.5-2 miles) is easy enough to walk if you don't have a car, but a enough blocks into the neighborhood to not see/hear any of the hustle and bustle. It's lovely experience and definitely recommended!

    Megan2018-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • David was very welcoming and helpful, with lots of suggestions and information about food and venues. Location is great- 1 block from the train station and about 15 minutes into downtown Seattle! I enjoyed this option!

    Kristina2016-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Barn 11 is clean, comfortable, and quiet. It's prime location means great food is close by, and you can comfortably walk to most sights (but it was recommended transit or car service to return, since it's all uphill). The staff were courteous and respectful. You'll enjoy this stay.

    Emily2018-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • This home is warm, cozy, intimate, and perfect for a getaway for two! Great location, within walking distance of anything you could ever ask for.

    Franco2017-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place looks like a small place on the outside but is a large (tiny home) greatly finished space on the inside. Perfect for a couple. The location is very safe within a walkable neighborhood close to parks, shops, bars and restaurants. Mass transit options are right around the corner. Check-in was easy and quick. Easy walks to the market and local attractions.

    Alvin2017-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was such an amazing experience!!! We had a 2 night pit stop here on a 15 day road trip and not only was the location great for navigating the "must see" sights of Seattle, it was also a great place to unwind and prep for our next leg. Very comfortable, felt like home, and very private. Also, such a cute place.

    Lisa2016-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here. It was super adorable and clean. The location was great and it was very close to a metro stop. I would recommend this to anyone! We were sad to leave

    Jane2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Seattle, not only because of the food, scenery, and people...we LOVED Barn 11 and our time in Capitol Hill. Upon arriving, we were greeted by David and as we entered the Barn, it was cozy and comfortable. David even provided us with a list and maps of nearby restaurants and sites to see. Very helpful as we were eating our way through Seattle. Can't wait to go back to Seattle and stay at the adorable Barn 11. Thank you David for being an excellent host!

Convenience! Beacon Hill is a mile away from downtown Seattle and the Stadiums (Seahawks/Sounders/Mariners). You can catch a bus or Uber any time of the day and be in downtown in 15 minutes or less. While here you will have your own Queen sized bed with access to a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room.
My place is cozy and updated and faces out to the greenbelt behind my building.
Beacon Hill is a quiet neighborhood just southeast of downtown and the International District, and just south of Capitol Hill. My place is easily accessible by bus and light rail. There are two bus lines directly across the street that run about every 10 minutes; one goes downtown and one goes to Capitol Hill. Everything in downtown and Capitol hill is within a two miles. This neighborhood has amazing views of the city.
  • Roseanne was very friendly and outgoing. The location of her condo was also very convenient!

    Brookelyn2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Roseanne gave great directions from the airport. It was easy to get there and a short bus ride downtown. Great location. Nice place.

  • Roseanne is a very friendly host who shared her home with us. We had our own bedroom and Roseanne kindly shared her living room, kitchen and bath with us. Everything was neat and clean and communication was easy. We definitly recommend her place to every other traveler.

Your private bedroom is on the lower level of the house. The queen bed features a high-end firm mattress. Sunny mornings fill the room with light. Alternatively, draw the blinds and curtains for a nice sleep in. Extra blankets and space heater are provided for those who run cold. Your bathroom is on the upper level and is shared by this and another guest bedroom. It features stone tiling, a large whirlpool tub/shower, and amenities such as shampoo, toothpaste, and clean fluffy towels.
My cute craftsman features an open floor plan allowing for lovely flow from the kitchen through the dining room to the living room. The kitchen features granite counter tops, gas cooking, and restaurant grade appliances. Feel free to use the microwave and fridge at your convenience. Let me know if you’d like to cook; I ’d be happy to assist you. I’d be happy to introduce you upon request. You may suffer from cuteness overload, the results of which I cannot be held responsible.
Janessa’s home is located in Seattle, Washington, United States. Getting around If you're renting a car or driving into town, there is plenty of free street parking. Seattle has a strong Uber and Lyft presence. My house is close to several bus stops. (I can't be more help here. I don't take the bus.)
  • It was a clean and cozy place! Loved staying there!

    Brittany2018-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Janessa's home is beautiful, clean, comfy, and quite. The bed is amazing. The house is in a safe, quiet neighborhood about a 20-minute bus ride out of downtown and a 10-minute ride across the bridge to Ballard where there are lots of fun shops and places to eat. Janessa is thoughtful and has really put a lot into making the Airbnb experience in her home top notch.

    Catherine2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Don't attempt to use the fireplace. This host is extremely unwelcoming.

    Randi2018-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place. Very clean. Maybe too many rules, 9 pages is a bit much. We would have like to be able to used the washroom downstairs by our room instead of having to go upstairs. Still would recommend the place. Easy check in. Thank you Janessa

    Sebastien2018-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Janessa is an outstanding host and her place is super comfortable and clean. Plenty of street parking and a block from the bus to downtown. Highly recommended!

    Nate2018-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cozy and clean place, with crystal clear instructions and guidance. Close to a fun street in Ballard, with lots of places to eat and hang out!

    Sander2018-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Janessa is an awesome host! She gave us very clear and detailed instructions during our stay and provided great hospitality! Her house is also in a very nice location!

    Caroline2018-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here!! Janessa’s house is adorable, and she’s a very gracious host! We got a fantastic sleep in our room. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a cup of coffee on her deck in the morning with the beautiful view. The kitchen and bathroom are notably stylish, clean, and pleasant. She provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay! If you’re taking public transit or walking to see the sights of Seattle as we were, her location is great! We were within a couple blocks of the bus stop, about a mile walk from the Locks- and if you’re feeling adventurous- about a 2 mile walk to Discovery Park (you can also take the bus to get there). We highly recommend!

Rise from your slumber to a beautiful view of the puget sound and Olympic mountains. Private room with comfortable decor, natural light, vaulted ceiling and a private bath w/shower. It is simple and easy bus or drive to Ballard, Fremont, and downtown Seattle. There are markets, great restaurants and pubs within walking distance.
Beautiful town home just a few blocks north of Greenwood(neighborhood). Great food and pubs nearby, but not too close. It's quiet, peaceful, and you'll enjoy a great nights sleep before and after exploring the city.
Greenwood is one of the oldest and best Seattle neighborhoods. Great food, pubs, and a market are all walkable. Carkeek and several other parks are just down the street.

  • Beautiful view of the Puget Sound and the ocean. Bed was comfortable. Pleasantly surprised by the Apple TV and espresso machine amenities. Guest room can be cleaner. Comforter had questionable stains and carpet could use some vacuuming. Bathroom was nice, provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and ample amount of towels. Place was cozy and well-decorated. Solid communication up until the night we checked-in and after the first night. Guest wifi did not work for either my phone or my girlfriend's. Did not work for Apple TV either however Daniel was quick to fix the issue when brought to his attention...Our biggest issue and complaint was with the check-in process. Before arriving we notified Daniel in advance of our delayed flight and he seemed fine. Admittedly we arrived 2 hours (12 AM) after accepted check-in. Upon arriving, we had serious trouble with the keypad and set the alarm off multiple times. We then had to stay outside the Air Bnb until 5 AM because the code did not work. We also texted and called him multiple times that night but we stopped as we did not want to disturb him any further and assumed he was asleep. After finally meeting him on our final night we learned that he was a wake for a majority of our first night. If he was actually awake, it is obviously very upsetting and frustrating. Besides that, the view was nice, the location was convenient, and the coffee machine's vanilla chai tea is excellent.

    Kent2018-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel's space has a breathtaking view of the lake and treetops, and a convenient private bathroom and in-room coffee machine. It's in a peaceful part of town, and you can easily get downtown on the #5 bus. Daniel's a great host with interesting stories to tell.

    Paul2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel's top floor room offered great repose- a comfortable bed, quietude and serene views. If you're a coffee drinker, you'll appreciate the coffee machine in the room with Starbucks roasts. He was a super nice guy and offered good local tips as well as being very accommodating. He likes wine and bikes, what's not to like?

  • Daniel was a great host. He was helpful. The room had great view and private clean bathroom. Also coffee was really good. It was my first time that I used airbnb and I enjoyed it a lot. It wasn’t like hotels and you have a chance to meet people who really live in the city your are visiting.

  • Darling little one-room cottage, nicely remodeled and pristine clean. LOCATION: Single-family neighborhood. Very safe. 2 blocks to a bus that goes downtown or to Green lake. In walking distance (~8 blocks) to central Wallingford, restaurants, supermarket, drugstore and bus between Ballard & the Univ District. AMENITIES: Comfortable bed. Modern bathroom. A minimal kitchen -- counter, cabinets, sink, small frig, microwave and toaster. No stove or standard cooking facilities, but very good restaurants not far away. Easy street parking, if you have a car. HOST: Sara was very responsive and helpful. Also very friendly and considerate. Thanks, Sara. In sum, this is a gem of a place to stay and I highly recommend it.

  • The cottage was a great place to stay during our visit to Seattle! The location was a perfect central location from the city, but also to Discovery Park and the Ballard Locks. It was great to be able to walk to Gas Works Park too and watch the sunset.

  • This was a wonderful place for us and we enjoyed the quietness of the area. The cottage is of great quality on everything, you can tell they used good quality products when building this place. It is a very comfortable space with your own private entrance, you can come and go as you please. It is a quiet neighborhood but just walking distance from great restaurant. We will definitely be back.

    Maria2017-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a sparkling clean, very cute cottage with all amenities one would want during an Airbnb stay. Although in a (beautiful) residential neighborhood it is a short walk to great restaurants and a short car ride to many of Seattle's tourist attractions and interesting neighborhoods. It was very easy to communicate with Sara; any questions and requests were immediately answered. We highly recommend this place and hope it's available next time we are in Seattle.

    Ute2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • This house is beautiful and perfect for a Seattle getaway. It is 10 minutes driving from Downtown Seattle. It is surrounded by a gorgeous and safe neighborhood. The neighborhood is fantastic for a morning stroll to a quaint little coffee shop right around the corner! The location is also about 4-6 blocks from a waterfront park. The house was adorable and very clean. I had every accommodation I would have had at a hotel. This was my first airbnb experience so I had a lot of questions. Sara was an excellent hostess and was great about answering all of them. She was even kind enough to give me a list of activity recommendations. She really helped my trip to go smoothly. I would highly recommend this location.

    Mandy2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • The guest house is lovely! Clean, stylish, in a nice quiet neighborhood and easy to get to/around from. Our physical paths did not cross but Sara was responsive and very nice. I definitely recommend staying here!

My boyfriend and I had never been to Seattle and wanted a little getaway. Julie was so very kind throughout our entire stay and made it convenient for us to get into the Garden Cottage on the first day. She made it known that if there were any questions about anything that she was just a quick text away and she would help in any way she could. The cottage was perfect, cozy and absolutely delightful to stay in. The surrounding gardens made the atmosphere relaxing and peaceful which was perfect after spending the day downtown. Every time we went back to the cottage it felt so welcoming and made us feel as if we were coming "home." The hot tub was a highlight and due to lucky weather, we utilized it two of the three nights we were there:) The location was just a quick Uber (which was the mode of transportation we used) to downtown. Although we didn't utilize it, there was a Transit Center right near the neighborhood. If we are ever in Seattle again, we hope that the Garden Cottage is available because we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
