Walk to Belle Isle, 6 min drive to downtown! A spacious 1BR corner loft overlooking the river and two parks. Lots of light and beautiful view. Convenient location off Jefferson Ave and Detroit's Riverwalk. Gated parking for one car. First time visitors to Detroit and city regulars will enjoy using my loft as a base of operations. I've been a contributing author to Wildsam Field Guides, an eclectic guidebook publisher, and have great recommendations for most cravings in this unique city.
I have a few spaces in Detroit. If this loft is unavailable, check one of my other cool spots: https://www.airbnb.com/users/6405993/listings This loft is beautiful, open, and full of light. A perfect retreat in Detroit. I grew up in Montana, lived in India for a few years, and ran a journalism startup in Detroit called Jaunt, so I have decorated my place with remnants of my travels. I also contributed to a Detroit guidebook called WildSam Field Guides, so I can help you put together a good itinerary or fill any holes you might have. I mostly live on my sailboat during the summer and I teach Marine Science on a sailing school vessel. The loft is all open except for the bathroom. The bedroom is separated by a wall without a ceiling. The kitchen has all the basic essentials and utensils plus coffee, tea, cereal, oatmeal, etc. for breakfast. I have an HDTV with Blu-Ray, Roku, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and an HD OTR antennae for NBC, ABC, FOX, etc. Then there's the bed. Queen and super comfortable - I splurged on the bed because good sleep is really important to me. For extra guests, there is a queen pull-out sofa in the common area. The apartment can accommodate up to four (two in each queen bed) but you're starting to get a little cramped. I will decline requests for greater than four people unless you have a special circumstance. There are two A/C units: one window-mounted right next to the bed and the other in the living room space. They do a good job on the loft 90% of the time, but if the sun is glaring and it is scorching hot, they won't be able to create the refrigerated A/C frigidity we are used to with central air. The bedroom unit works perfectly if you shut the door to the common area. In the winter, you can turn the heat up as much as you like and make it toasty warm.
I moved here in October, 2014 from the nearby West Village area where there are a few great new restaurants, like Craft Work, Detroit Vegan Soul, and Red Hook Coffee. The loft is on the Riverwalk, which is a bike/walk trail connecting you to downtown and Eastern Market via the Dequindre Cut, a converted rail line that runs off of the Riverwalk. I am also walking distance to the Belle Isle bridge. The building is kitty corner to a Coast Guard base, a U.S. Federal building, and the offices of a private security firm. The streets are lit and other residents of the building are frequently coming and going. I have always felt that the area around where I live is quite safe.
  • My daughter and I loved meeting Thane and his mom, Karen. They greeted us with warmth and friendliness. We enjoyed the loft very much - our favorite place to stay in Detroit. The bed is super comfortable.

    Billie Jo2016-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • A raw, beautiful space that captures the energy of what it means to be in early 20th C Detroit and the historical relationship to Canada and the French. It's also a cool loft that has its quirks but feels totally welcoming and safe. Thane is an effusive and skilled host. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

    Gary2016-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great. Cozy bed to sleep in, clean and decorated really cute. While stayed in winter time it would be a great spot in the summer as well considering its right on the river walk. Secure parking area with a security guard made us feel safe coming back late in the evening. I would surely stay again.

  • This is a hidden gem for Detroit!!! Great host in Karen! I arrived a little early and she was accommodating and very nice. A 2 minute walk to the riverwalk. 6 Minute uber ride to downtown restaurants. Comfortable bed. Clean loft. Affordable price. Definitely recommend.

  • We had stopped in Detroit simply to break up a long drive home and quickly realized this area is a worthy destination all on its own. The loft is stunning. Very clean, stylish, comfortable, great location. We would happily stay here again. The communication was great and the tips to local eateries were spot on. Highly recommended!

A beautiful, open, airy loft space housed within a completely renovated 1926 industrial building. Centrally located on Woodward Avenue, steps away from the Amsterdam stop of the newly-installed QLINE in New Center. Hop on, and be anywhere you'd like in New Center, Midtown, or Downtown in minutes. Relax, you're home.
This is a modern loft apartment housed within a completely renovated 1926 building that originally housed graphic artists for General Motors, and other companies. Designed by famed-Detroit architect Albert Kahn, you'll notice the signature art-deco front-facade and incredible lobby of the building. All the character of the loft is still intact, from the concrete floors, brick exterior wall, and the mushroom columns Albert Kahn was known for. Home includes a large kitchen, front load washer and dryer, incredibly fast internet with wifi and one bedroom with a queen-sized bed. This building is incredibly peaceful, quiet, and relaxing; while being just blocks away from anything you'd want to do in the city. Kitchen includes gas stove/oven, stainless steel sink, refrigerator, toaster, pots, pans, coffee maker, and any other utensils you need to call Detroit home for a few days. You'll find a single bedroom (this was originally a studio unit, but has been converted into a completely-walled one bedroom unit). Beautifully comfortable queen bed, small dresser, and chair. The main bathroom includes a subway tile shower/tub, sink, and any towels and amenities you'll need to make your stay perfect. Awesomely comfy white cotton sheets are included in the bedroom. The living room includes a couch (can be used for extra sleeping space, but isn't a pull-out), coffee table, and two chairs. 50" HDTV is hooked up to an Apple TV with Netflix. Outdoor space includes a small patio (which you'll enter from) with two bistro chairs and table. Enjoy the sunny back-alley of the building with a drink of your choice from the fridge. Local spots within walking/biking distance include the incredibly beautiful art-deco Fisher and Albert Kahn buildings; Midtown Shopping (Shinola, Willys, Nora, Hugh, Carhartt, Fellow Barber, City Bird, Nest, and more); the mid-century gardens and campus at Wayne State, and more. Local attractions include the city and public art, Belle Isle with its beaches, waterpark, Albert Kahn designed conservatory and aquarium, and trails. The world is your oyster. Restaurants nearby including fast food, Northern Lights Lounge, Falafill, Dangerously Delicious Pies, City Wings, Motor City Brewing Works, Jolly Pumpkin, and more. The loft is all yours while you're here. Enjoy, relax, and hang out. I prefer text and AirBnB message for communication. Taking photos during your stay? Make sure you #thatdetroitloft.
Awesome location right on Woodward at the Midtown/New Center border. Just a few blocks either way to a ridiculous amount of inspiration, character, activities, and restaurants. Take in the Detroit Institute of Arts, or check out the art-deco skyscrapers of New Center.
  • Staying at Jesse's place was a unique and lovely experience. His space was immaculate, aesthetically pleasing, entertaining (enticing reading material and decent vinyl collection), and above all, comfortable. Nestled within the Wayne State University area (directly next to the WSU police station), safety was a given and parking was not a concern. Jesse was attentive and quick to respond. Truly a home away from home -- if the opportunity arises, we would stay again.

    April2015-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Loft was beautiful and Jesse was a perfectly accommodating host!

    Yoni2016-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time staying at Jesse's loft and it was just as pleasurable as the first. And he's such a considerate fella...hard to beat this great spot/host. I can't wait to check out his other Airbnb's next time I'm in town.

    Matt2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Jesse was a terrific host! His loft was so gorgeous, very clean, and a great location. Jesse provided some suggestions on things to do for those not familiar with Detroit and was very accommodating and prompt when sending emails. THANKS JESSE for sharing your space with us!!!

    Brooke2016-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jesse's loft was just perfect! It's conveniently located in Midtown Detroit, close to all the coolest spots. The loft itself was the perfect size for my boyfriend and me. We were able to make breakfast on a few of the days during our stay; Jesse had a fully equipped kitchen. The decór was minimalistic and super chic- totally my style! I loved all the little details paying homage to Detroit. Don't even get me started on the bed, the few night I stayed there were some of the best sleep I've had all month :) I would highly recommend Jesse's loft if you're ever in the Detroit area!

    Michelle2016-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very smooth stay here. Communication was very easy. The loft is as cool as it looks in the pictures. The neighbourhood is very safe, very quiet, although the bars and some livelier places are not too far. The space is very renovated and fitted with the comfort of a new building, which came in very handy during wintertime: The heating was impeccable.

    Isabel2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, would gladly stay again.

    Daniel2018-01-31T00:00:00Z

Welcome to Woodbridge Farm! ...a friendly, spacious & quiet neighborhood, close to all of the happenings in/around Detroit. Enjoy the newly renovated 2nd floor of our 1884 Historic house. The apt is cozy w/ yummy architectural/design details.
WOODBRIDGE FARM: We love it here! ...very special and unique. The street is filled with Urban Pioneers and creative types; artists, musicians, gardeners, and makers. You will find that most homes sit on larger pieces of land, giving Woodbridge Farms a unique feel. Many of the houses in the area have undergone impressive renovations, and for the others the renovation is underway. We have completed the interior renovations of this home, and soon we will start renovation on the house next door, which we also own. From the outside they look a little rough, but keep coming back and you will be able to witness the transformation! US & OUR RENOVATION PROJECTS: We are longtime Detroiter’s. We are committed to the City, and we are so happy to have been a part of the revitalization of Detroit. We love old homes …and we love to renovate them! Zac is a general contractor, and Renee is an Interior Designer. Together, we have been restoring old homes in Woodbridge for the last 15 years. LOCATION: You are a short walk/drive from Detroit’s midtown area, where you will find a variety of restaurants and shopping. Both Corktown and Downtown are within a few miles. It is a very quiet neighborhood, conveniently located to all major freeways. Lots of parking. THE LISTING: Newly renovated, with the best of care. Open plan kitchen, dining, and living. King size bed with fine linens and nice pillows. The bedroom windows are opposite the sun rise. It is a very peaceful space, bright, open and fresh. We are sure you will love the apartment. It is clean and private. We have an office on the first floor that is completely separate from the space. Zac is typically there M-F 9-5 should you need to fax ,copy or have any questions. If you have any special requests we will do our best to accommodate you, if given a bit of notice. We live 2 blocks away from the apartment should anything urgent come up.
  • This apartment is truly amazing! Beautifully decorated and truly felt like home after staying there for a week. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet, central, and felt very much like a community. Zac and Renee were wonderful hosts - they were super-responsive and even proactively asked if there was anything they could do (it was our wedding weekend). I highly recommend staying here to everyone who has the chance.

    Charles2016-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is my spirit apartment. I love love love everything they've done to decorate this place. Can't wait to stay here again.

    Rachel2016-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Zac & Renee's place is absolutely beautiful, the pictures really don't do it justice. The lighting is perfect for morning yoga. The neighborhood is very colorful and it's closed enough to downtown. I will definitely be staying at Zac & Renee's again next time I go to Detroit.

    Ana2016-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay at Zac and Renee's apartment! I booked this apartment because I needed a place to photograph some portraits indoor's...and this apartment was a dream! Full of natural light, and decorated/designed so uniquely! My husband and I stayed that night, even though we only live 45 minutes away. It was so close to our favorite midtown bars, and perfect for a night away from home. It was great to spend some time in Detroit and not have to worry about the usual long drive home. The neighborhood was quiet, and felt safe. I didn't meet Zac and Renee while I was there, but they made it known that they we could call at anytime if we needed anything.

    Anna2016-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • Zac and Renee's place was obviously created with love. They did a beautiful job on the apartment, located in a green neighborhood filled with other charming houses. It's a short walk to midtown shops and parking is easy outside the house. We met Renee as they were gardening outside when we arrived but had no issues getting the key out of the lockbox and feeling at home. (Taco the cat greeted us warmly on the doorstep too.)

    Emily2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • great

    Chris2018-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • We were keenly aware of how natural light filled this large, well decorated space. Since Zac and Renee's apartment would be our home for 7 days, we appreciated so much: the high ceilings, comfortable bed, desk surface space, kitchen, washer and dryer. The list goes on. The location was amazing. Everything cool about downtown Detroit is close by. Freeway access is easy,. We walked forever and drove around as well. Zac and Renee were great hosts. We loved the large bowl of fruit they left us. We'll book this place again. Thank you.

    Wendy2016-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Zac and Renee's place was great! The space is really big, clean, and well-designed. The location is perfect for getting to good restaurants and bars, but easy to get on the Qline to downtown as well. Their cat Taco is awesome :)

Upstairs from Slows BBQ and on the same block as Astro, Sugar House and Gold Cash Gold, this two-bedroom neighborhood inn provides an immersive, welcoming travel experience in the heart Corktown, Detroit's oldest neighborhood.
A small-scale, design-focused Detroit inn, Honor & Folly is reminiscent of the way folks used to travel: a few beds above the village pub or restaurant. You'll be immersed in this historical neighborhood that's also at the forefront of the city's current revitalization. Featured in Martha Stewart Living, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit (made the 40 "Best Food Lovers Hotels in America" Awards), The Globe and Mail, Details Magazine, Conde Nast Traveller UK, and Afar. With a prime Corktown location, you'll be situated smack into the middle of one of the most thriving, charming and walk-able neighborhoods in the city—right across from the city’s most beautiful icon of urban decay: the old train station. Admire it up-close or enjoy the beautiful view through the big living room windows—you can even see the Ambassador Bridge! Sharing a block with Slows, Astro, Gold Cash Gold and Sugar House, Honor & Folly also offers plenty of other nearby bars, shops and restaurants within a quick stroll (I provide guests with a list of my favorite recommendations), as well as easy access to downtown. The well-appointed space is decorated with goods made by Detroit and Midwest-based designers and artisans—much of which is also for sale. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and its own bathroom, for a capacity of four people, with additional possible sleeping arrangements for kids. From time to time, Honor & Folly is used as a community space, hosting workshops or events, but you will have the space entirely to yourself during your stay. OTHER AMENITIES: outdoor balcony | local design | fully stocked cooking kitchen | potential to arrange custom catering, private dinner parties, etc.
  • Meghan's Corktown Inn is the perfect to stay while visiting Detroit. It is in a very trendy neighborhood, really close to Downtown. The apartment is large with a lot of open space and perfectly decorated. We highly recommend going to Slows BBQ and Astro coffee which are just downstairs. We would to go back and stay at Honor and Folly again. We highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Detroit.

    Aude2016-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Detroit. The block has everything necessary for survival....food, drinks, coffee, bagels down the street.... quick in and out of downtown, not far from Midtown.... Good place.

    Kurt2016-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • First, I must say the interior decor is on par with anything in Dwell or any other top interior design magazine. The beds were comfortable, showers hot, and all of the other amenities were more than advertised. To top everything off, below the inn is Slows BBQ, one of the best BBQ joints in the nation and next door some of the best coffee I've had in long time. Overall, I have to say one of my best stay's anywhere and I love that there was NO TV which to me made the place & the surroundings more relaxing. Anyone going to Detroit should consider staying here without question.

    Clarence2013-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is amazing! The place was super comfy, clean, and well equipped. It was also located near a a couple of great restaurants, a bar, coffee shop, and downtown Detroit. Meghan was more than accommodating, even though we were a little early. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Detroit!

    Joshua2012-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Megan was professional and quick to respond to all my questions. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, well furnished and well appointed. However it has an odd layout with an internal bedroom, it is also between two busy roads (the noise of the air-conditioning fans drowns out most of the sound of the traffic), and the kitchen lacked some items of equipment. More for young professionals perhaps than young families. So, on the whole we felt it was slightly over priced at $215 plus a $50 cleaning fee. I guess there aren't very many people providing similar suitable accommodation in Detroit. The area was interesting, though the local trendy bars and cafe's etc all felt expensive and decadent in comparison to the rest of Detroit.

    Tom & Jaqui2015-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Honor & Folly was everything my party of 4 thought it would be; charming, comfortable and convenient. Meghan's suggestions for places to check out in the neighbourhood did not disappoint...Slows, Mercury, Sugar House and Astro were all great. The wifi was a little spotty at times. Thankfully there was AC because it was crazy hot outside. I would stay again and recommend H&F to anyone traveling to Detroit. Thanks, Stacey

    Stacey2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Honor and Folly is my favorite place to stay, not just in Detroit, but of all the places I've stayed in cities in the U.S. It is adorable, functional, and Meghan is a fabulous host.

    Susie2016-04-14T00:00:00Z

  • This place had everything we needed and was very spacious. I would stay here again on my next visit to Detroit.

    Chris2018-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Kyle is an awesome host! We rented the entire second floor of his property for a staff retreat my organization had in Detroit and it was great. I asked him a million questions beforehand that he answered promptly & he was also around to help with check-in. The pictures are all very accurate and depict the space well. Though the location isn't close to restaurants & things, I thought the neighborhood was awesome and fun to walk around to see all of its history. A few of my colleagues weren't too keen on the fact that there weren't curtains on the windows (definitely wouldn't be able to sleep-in late here), and that the space is not sound proof. Kyle communicated this with us, but it is worth noting that some of the bedrooms do not have doors and are "semi-private". Would definitely book again!

    Madelyn2016-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful loft in a great location with plenty of room for guests to sleep! Would definitely stay here again.

    Eric2017-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a fun experience at Kyle's place! We absolutely love this loft! Very spacious and clean, and the layout was just fun for our kids. Checking in and out was also very easy. I definitely will recommend it to my friends.

    Lili2017-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Kyle's loft was just gorgeous! Great hosting in absolutely great fringy yet save neighborhood. Parking is easy, and with Uber you get to Downtown area or fab food spots (such as Rock City Eatery) in less than 10 mintues. So, overall great experience ... we'll be back! :-)

    Wiebke & Alexander2016-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing place, and Kyle is an out-of-this-world host! I reserved Kyle's place for a group that I manage that was in town for an event. The place was perfect for them. Plus Kyle is an amazing host. He cares about the experience of his Airbnb-ers. He also goes above and beyond -- when we needed an extra bed he was quick to drop off an air mattress and linens. Highly recommend!

My husband, Matt, and I have a lovely flat in Hamtramck that has been restored to its original 1920s charm. Our style is intentional and warm, and decorations include things that we have collected through the years that have meaning to us. Equipped with a queen size bed in a spacious bedroom it is perfect for a couple or close friends! There’s plenty of room for an air mattress too. The living room has a couch, eating table, chair, and bar with stools for enjoying food and beverages. We provide a TV with Netflix access, games, and books for when you feel like relaxing after a long day of hanging out in the city. The brightness and vintage style of the kitchen will warm your heart. You will love cooking in this space, not to mention you will be provided with any cooking supplies you need. • Matt and Meredith were super responsive and welcoming hosts. As regular visitors to Detroit we are always looking for something new and different. Prior to our arrival, Matt gave us the super local tips for restaurants and even hooked us up at a festival we didn't know about. And when we arrived, Meredith met us at the front, gave us a quick tour of their beautiful garden, walked us upstairs and had a bottle of wine for us. The apartment is just as pictured (beautiful, clean and roomy), but also with board games, tons of other amenities and a super comfortable bed. They had an air mattress for our daughter and the place *still* felt spacious and comfortable. We felt like we were staying with the most accommodating friends. We will definitely, be back, perhaps in the next month. We just hope it will be available!

  • Always a 5 star experience! We stay here every time we are in the Detroit area. It's so cozy, clean, well-stocked, spacious, and close to everything! It's perfect.

  • Matt and Meredith's place is quaint and obviously lovingly taken care of. It has everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. It is a comfortable space. We recommend staying there.

Up north at its best! Stay in a custom cabin in the middle of Rocky Top Farms, a cherry orchard. Please read this listing completely!
Custom timber-frame cabin was built by my husband, father-in-law, and me with the help from many, many friends. The little cabin is in the middle of a large cherry orchard in the heart of beautiful northern Michigan and is situated on a pond surrounded by birch trees. The love is in the details at this very special place. Climb a ladder to the romantic sleeping loft and gaze at the incredible northern night skies! Wonderful front porch! Locally made art. Amazing soapstone wood stove for cozy warmth and romantic, flickering firelight. Shared outdoor 6 person hot tub. The small kitchen is equipped with all you might need to make some wonderful meals. Fridge, sink, oven with stove top griddle, microwave. Pots, pans, mixing bowls, utensils, dishes, cups, mugs, basic oils and spices are included. OH~ and coffee maker complete with coffee. Towels, bedding and firewood are also provided. Enjoy acres of Michigan orchard, prairie, and woodlands. The north end of Torch Lake is just a couple miles away. Lake Michigan beaches are within minutes of driving. Ski resorts, breweries (can you say SHORT'S BREWING?), wineries, restaurants, farm markets are all within reach for great day trips. This property is best accessed by four- wheel drive during the winter months. You could say we are off the beaten path. This cabin can be rented in conjunction with The Treehouse at Rocky Top Farms- check it out! The Treehouse is near The Cabin, but both buildings have been designed to have a feeling of privacy. There is a wall of pine trees between the cabins. Please be reminded that this is a working orchard. You may hear ambient tractor noises at various times. You should have 4 wheel drive to access the cabin in winter- I am not joking!!! Surrounded by lakes, beaches and hiking opportunities abound! We are located 15 minutes south of Charlevoix and 20 minutes north of Elk Rapids. Bellaire (home to Short's Brewery) is 20 minutes away. Traverse City is about 30 minutes to our south. See the guidebook for a listing of our favorite spots. No public transport around here, sorry. You must have 4 wheel drive to visit the cabin in the winter.... Otherwise, prepare to hike about 1/4 mile to the cabin, and park at the barn. The water here is well- water. It isn't the city water you might be used to. It does have a yellowish cast because there are many tannins in it. The water has been tested, and is fine to drink. You may want to bring your own drinking water if are used to chlorinated water.
We love our rural neck of the woods! Surrounded by lakes, beaches and hiking opportunities abound! See the guidebook for a listing of our favorite spots. Our immediate neighbors consist of farmers, artists, a college professor, bee keepers, a massage therapist, a chef, an energy conservationist and a professional star-gazer_ truly! Our neighborhood is spread across many miles, but we are look out for each other and are friends.
  • We truly enjoyed our stay at the little cabin. The website and pictures depicted a very scenic and secluded get away and that's exactly what it was. It was extremely cozy as well as romantic. Our stay was in late June so we were able to catch glimpses of deer and wild turkey. We Will Definitely be making a return visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay Heidi!

  • What a beautiful, cozy cabin! Thanks for having us.

    George2013-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Heidi did an amazing job of communicating with me leading up to our weekend at the cabin. The cabin is secluded, private, clean, and very welcoming. It is the prefect place to getaway for the weekend and forget about life. We will certainly be back to enjoy another weekend at Rocky Top Farms.

    Chris2015-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first rental on airbnb and it didn't disappoint! The cabin was just as described and had everything we needed. We took advantage of the hot tub and used the grill and kitchen to make many yummy meals. The kitchen had spices, oils and some condiments which was very helpful. The setting was perfect! When we wandered around the property we ran into dear and wild turkeys. We loved the quiet and the beautiful view. Heidi was a wonderful host and was very responsive to questions but gave us space which was perfect for us. There is a sleeping loft that you will have to climb a ladder in order to get to (this is clear from the listing photos). Some people may find the ladder to be inconvenient but I found the loft to be romantic and cozy! Overall I would highly recommend this cabin!

    Jennifer2015-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Heidi was a great host! The cabin was nice and secluded, but despite it's remote location, one can still hear the rumblings of the road. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, but don't mind it being a little rough around the edges, this is the place for you.

    Cole2015-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a super relaxing long weekend at the cabin. We turned off our phones and internet and enjoyed the cyclical sounds of nature that surrounded us from the mourning doves in the AM to the chirping crickets at night. With Heidi's detailed instructions and notes, living off the grid for a few days was pretty easy. I was even able to build a fire in the wood stove for the first time with her notes, a very proud moment in my life : ) Walks in the cherry orchard and soaking in the hot tub under the stars were just a couple highlights. If you are looking for relaxation...come to the cabin at Rocky Top Farms. You will find it here.

    Paula2015-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our weekend at this cabin! It was private, quaint and exactly what we expected. Heidi was very accommodating and left fresh cherries and a jar of delicious cherry butter in our cabin. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and we slept great. We enjoyed just sitting on the front porch looking out at the little lake and taking in the pretty surroundings. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a rustic, private getaway. Thank so much Heidi, we will be back for sure!

    Kelly2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful cabin and farm to visit. The cabin was clean, comfortable and quiet. Kitchen was awesome. We can't say enough good things about our experience here. Thank you, Heidi and Mike!

Craftsman style, 2 bedroom cabin with large windows overlooking the designated "National Wild and Scenic" Pere Marquette River.
Craftsman style, 2 bedroom cabin with large windows overlooking the designated "National Wild and Scenic" Pere Marquette River. Peaceful and cozy craftsman style cabin in the woods overlooking the Pere Marquette river. Large windows on the riverside allow for a spectacular view of the river and lovely sunrises. The cabin has central AC and central heat, but there is NO TV or Internet/WiFi. The kitchen is well stocked with most cooking essentials. There is a tea kettle, various coffee pots, coffee bean grinder, dishes, pans, small refrigerator, and small functioning vintage stove. Freshly laundered bed linens, blankets and towels are provided. The town grocery store is conviently located less than a mile from the cabin. Both bedrooms have a full size mattresses. There is also a futon in the living room that could be used for additional guests. There is a 2 person tandem kayak, canoe and fishing poles are available at the cabin and are free for guest use. The burn ring by the river and a fire pit on the property that can be used for bonfires or roasting marshmallows. A door code enables guests to check themselves in after 3pm. We are available by text/email or phone during their stay if there any problems or questions. The cabin is located in Baldwin which is a small rural town that has very limited attractions or resturants, but makes for quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Cabin is located on Pere Marquette river which is a designated "National Wild and Scenic" river and is world renowned for excellent fishing for rainbow trout, brown trout and Steelhead. The river section directly in front of the cabin is open for fishing only during the last weekend in April to end of September (trout season). It is also a very popular river for canoes and kayakers since it is steady and considerably clear which is perfect for paddlers with basic skills. The cabin is located about a 2 minute drive from the closest 'open all year round' river location. The cabin is 1.5 hour drive from Traverse City (Wine tasting, beaches, cherry orchards) and/or Grand Rapids MI (Art prize, Fredrick Meijer sculpture Gardens). It is also 45 Min. drive from Ludington which has miles of public beach on Lake Michigan. Pleae note there is a approx. 50 yard walk from the driveway to the cabin. Smoking inside the cabin is not allowed. Pets are ok with the following considerations: no wet dogs in the cabin (most dogs love swimming in the river), no pets on the furniture and up to date flea control is appreciated. The cabin is located 3.5 miles from the start of the Pere Marquette Rail Trail which is a excellent mountain biking and hiking trail.
The cabin is located in Lake County which is over half state (Pere Marquette State Forest) and federal land (Manistee National Forest) with endless hiking opportunities. The cabin is located very close to the North Country National Scenic Trail. There are multiple sections of the North Country trail that allow mountain biking and also the Big M trail is nearby. The cabin is located near the small town of Baldwin which has very limited attractions and no notable restaurants therefore this is not the place to come for man made sightseeing that is nearby.
  • Jade and Russ are very accessible by text, phone, or email and very friendly. They have a beautiful place that is well kept and neat. Attention to detail, unique, and simple (simple in the good way) are the things that come to mind when thinking about the cabin. Great place to unplug, slow down, and relax!

    Chris2014-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely beautiful – there is no sign of any other house nearby, you feel as if you are in the middle of the woods and the only people around (and there is a good supermarket half a mile away). The cabin is cute and pretty comfortable, except for the beds, which need improvement. The cabin looks out over a river with perfectly clear water. There is a spot by the river for bonfires, loads of firewood available, and a really great barbecue out front. Highly recommended, I would definitely come back here

    Tonja2016-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • There are few words that can do justice to this amazing little cabin. First off, the outside property is stunning. You are surrounded my trees as far as the eye can see. The view of the river was breathtaking, especially in the early morning light! The inside of the cabin is a magical little wonderland. Russ and Jade have such an eye for detail. Every night my son and I would have a treasure hunt and see what new, fun things we could find! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked, all we had to bring was food. I had to text Jade a few times regarding a storm that knocked down some trees on the property. Her responses were quick, kind and accommodating. We are so anxious to go back. There is no time of year that this little cabin would not be amazing to visit. THANK YOU Russ and Jade for opening up your cabin to my little family. We will forever be grateful for the time we spent here.

    Mary2015-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was beautiful and exactly as described. We had a wonderful time making memories on our first family road trip. We would recommend it to anyone looking to get off the grid and relax!!

    Katie2016-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very cool and unique cabin! Right on a nice river. Secluded but within walking distance to a grocery store. Already looking at dates to plan our next trip!

  • Had everything my boyfriend and I were looking for: beautiful scenic view and a cozy, peaceful space. Perfect place to disconnect as the cabin is tv/wifi-free. We read, played guitar, worked on a puzzle, and stared through the stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that looking out toward the Pere Marquette River. We spent a few hours in Ludington where we visited (in the cold, wet rain) the Ludington Lighthouse and then walked to the Big Sable Lighthouse. It was awesome and super fun to layer on the clothes and enjoy the outdoors. The cabin is equipped with everything you could need, plus more. All necessary kitchen supplies, clean linens, awesome books, and games. We can't wait to go back. Thanks, again Russ and Jade!

  • Robin and I needed somewhere to relax after our wedding and this turned out to be the perfect place. The area is very quiet and the closest house is a ways away (we only really noticed the yard light at night). The cabin is wonderful. A modern grill on the back porch means you can grill outside without heating it up but inside is a functional classic stove! The attention to detail in the furnishings really make it a wonderful place to stay particularly if you enjoy fly fishing (there is a desk with a vise for tying flies and other materials). I'd love to come back and learn how to fly fish. The river is wonderful. It is possible to wade really far but the kayak comes in handy. We had a wonderful stay and were thinking about when we could come back before we even left.

  • Bar none the best air bnb experience we have had as a family. Beautiful place, peaceful time spent just relaxing and walking/fishing together. The cabin was surprisingly spacious and had more creature comforts than one should expect while "camping". One of the things we loved most was the attention to detail at the cabin - artfully done yet functional too and so clean. Jade was very responsive via text. Our dog had a great time too!

  • Wow! We loved every second of our stay. I'm sure this place is wonderful during the warm season, but it's beauty during the winter is breathtaking! Where else can you see the stars and the sunrise from your cozy bed? We recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of nature and to unwind. We hope to go back someday!

  • What a lovely peaceful place.... Heaven on earth really. Would love to return in the early fall. Thank you for sharing your home with us. As a side note...Expect a rough drive in because it is definelty a long drive "off road" and most cars wouldn't make it, at least on the day we came in April.

    Tiffany2018-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, secluded, romantic cabin. Its like upscale camping. Most likely better for the warmer months, but gorgeous and cozy either way!

    Joel2017-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We were thankful to have such a great place to unplug, relax, and enjoy a quiet getaway. This is a high-quality site with a great view of Lake Superior, it is well-maintained, and we had timely communication with the host. There is no electricity, but there is a propane gas grill, a water source, and supplies for cooking. We liked how secluded the location was, and yet it was close enough to drive into town.

    Carl2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED our time at the 'love shack'. It was exactly how it is described. Perfect for an unplugged get away! The view is incredible! The sauna was perfect during the cold fall nights!

Log cabin on Grand Traverse Bay in beautiful Suttons Bay. Private beach. Super kid and dog friendly (extra dog fee applies). Grill, swim, read, cook, walk, hike, bike, wine taste and more...
Beautiful, fully-equipped beachfront log cabin on West Grand Traverse Bay. Lee Point is the place to be! Sleeps at least 8 (max 12) across 3 floors with 3 full bathrooms, washer/dryer, full kitchen, decorative fireplace, etc. The Beach: 150' of private West Bay beachfront for your use. Water is shallow (great for little swimmers/dogs) for a ways out. Beach toys, a few chairs and towels provided. We suggest aqua socks for little children given our own experience! There is a fire pit on the small bluff overlooking the water as well. The house: This is a traditional log cabin that is fully outfitted (towels, linen, cookware, etc) and furnished for comfort and a Northern Michigan vacation-style. 3 floors of space to sprawl, relax and enjoy. There's a very private deck off the back of the home. Linens and towels provided. Lower level bathroom completely remodeled and updated in December 2016. The indoor fireplace is only decorative. (please note!) The upstairs jacuzzi is permanently retired and not in use. Neither of these features are advertised as perks at the cabin, so please don't be disappointed that they are not available! Both are for the safety of our guests! *We are unable to accommodate weddings or special events due to insurance liability and facility requirements. Dogs welcome with an additional $25/day fee payable 1 week before check in. Please inquire with questions!
Location: located half mile off M-22, Lee Point is a quiet street made up of beaches, houses and local neighbors & vacationers. It's friendly, private and beautiful. It's a short trip into the charming village of Suttons Bay, and very close to the hustle and bustle of Traverse City and all it has to offer. We're a stone's throw from Black Star Farms as well! The house is located directly across from the private beach. Lee Point Road is generally very calm, but does pick up in the summer due to tourists and cherry season, so it is advised that children have an adult to cross over to the beach.
  • Colleen was great. She responded quickly and let us know she would be available if and when needed. The cabin was utterly gorgeous and fully stocked. We arrived for friends-giving this year and ended up not needing the majority of our cooking gear. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood close to TC but far enough out that you feel secluded. Our group is made up of both wine and craft-beer lovers so we split up one day to go to various wineries / breweries. Everything was super close and some sites were even walkable (though probably not ideal in the dead of winter). The space was large and roomy but also intimate for our group of eight. The kitchen is HUGE and great for families or larger groups of people who enjoy cooking.

    Olivia2015-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Colleen was very helpful and very quick to answer all questions. The cabin was awesome and well stocked. We had a wonderful time

  • This log cabin is beautiful! We knew we would love the area, but this little neighborhood off Bayshore Road was adorable. The windows in the cabin were open when we arrived, and there were two binders of information available to us to review. The home was clean and cute, and we were pleasantly surprised by how considerate the owners are of guests with children. There was a pack and play, a stroller, inside and outside toys, books, and sand toys for the kids. The private beach area and fire pit are right across the road. We had a great vacation!

    James2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Colleen’s. The cabin is spacious with plenty of room and beds for everyone in our group. Check in was seamless, the cabin was very clean with a well stocked kitchen, and the location is a perfect base camp for day trips to Sutton’s bay and Traverse City. I highly recommend it!

    Kait2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • The house was exactly how described. The view was absolutely amazing, I definitely would want to come back during warmer, nicer weather. The house was stocked with lots of items in the kitchen to make you feel at home. And the kitchen was huge! The living spaces were very large with lots of seating. The most amazing thing about the cabin was the views from the living room AND the basement. The basement also had a large window and door with access to the front yard. All in all, a highly recommended spot.

Floyd Gompf's cottage in Lakeside. A well equipped clean and comfortable cottage furnished with Floyd's famous furniture. Has a wood stove and really nice wrap around screen porch. There's plenty of parking. A short walk or ride to Lake Michigan Pier Ave. Beach. Warren Dunes is close by too. The house is bright and sunny and is surrounded by lots of mature trees and is located on a quaint and quiet dirt road. Two bedrooms, one has a queen size bed the other has a double. One bath with a Jaccuzzi bathtub. A clean simple well equipped kitchen, brand new stove and refrigerator. Farmers markets in Union Pier and Three Oaks on weekends. Greenbush Brewery in Sawyer. The cottage is close to many quaint small towns. Three Oaks, approximately six miles from the cabin offers antique shopping, galleries, a distillery, movie theater and several restaurants. Sawyer is home to Greenbush Brewery, and Mesa Luna a restaurant which features home grown fare, a grocery store, a clothing store in a former fire station and Sawyer Garden Shop, featuring, fresh produce, a great wine selection and gourmet foods.
  • Staying at the cottage was delightful. So many interesting design details, and sweet touches like candles and flowers on the table, the wood stove being ready to go when I wanted a fire, and comfortable spaces all around the house.

Linda and Floyd are both very kind and accommodating. The cottage is one of the most unique places I've ever stayed in. Filled from top to bottom with handmade wooden furniture and decor, antiques and art. The space is very clean, and you'll find everything you need for a cozy few days in (stove, extra blankets, kitchen spices and utensils, books, etc.) We loved the screened in porch, which seems to go on forever! I'm sure that during our next visit - which will definitely happen - we'll discover a hundred other tiny touches that we missed the first time around. The location is perfect, too. Close to several antique shops, the dunes, hiking trails, Greenbush Brewing, and more. Thoroughly recommend!

  • It's an exceptionally charming and comfortable cottage. We had such a lovely time there.

  • Wonderful place, really thoughtfully decorated, lots of personality. Extremely clean and well-kept. Highly recommend! During our short stay, we also enjoyed Cafe Gulistan and Greenbush brewery in the area.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Floyds Cabin. Peaceful and quiet, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood burning stove in the living room. So nice to meet Floyd himself!

    Dee2016-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had the perfect get away weekend at Floyd's Cottage! The cottage was very clean and super comfortable. I was surprised by how spacious the cottage was and we both agreed that this would be a great place to come back to with friends or family. We had a wonderful time admiring all of the great art and furniture as well as flipping through some of the great books. (We even found one about the history of the neighborhood we live in, in Chicago!) Linda was very helpful and quick to respond. Overall our stay was very relaxing and Lakeside, Three Oaks, and Sawyer were charming and beautiful towns. I would highly recommend you make the trip there and stay at Floyd's cottage!

    Jordan2013-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time staying at Floyd's cottage and I look forward to going back again in the future. The huge screened in wrap around porch make it perfect for a relaxing summer weekend out of the city and the wood stove and wooded surrounding are a peaceful and cozy escape during wintertime. The cabin itself and all the furniture are beautifully hand made. It was close to Warren Woods and Dunes which were perfect spots to take our dog to play and great Breweries and Distilleries in the area for us.

Scandinavian modern home within a wooded setting, convenient to the towns of Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, and Lake Leelanau. Walk to lake access, hike the cherry orchards, explore local wineries, distilleries and farm markets.
The house comfortably sleeps 6 people, there are two queen beds and two twin beds. There are two full baths and a powder room. The master bath has the soaking tub while the second floor bath has a large shower. The simple euro style kitchen is well equipped for cooking and serving, complete with convection oven, gas cooktop, drawer dishwasher, and refridgerator/freezer. The windows and location gives the feeling of being in a very comfortable treehouse.
The Wayfarer is located between the neighboring home, a wooded area and cherry orchards. Within a short walk there is a very nice public access to Lake Leelanau, a great spot for daily swimming and sunsets. The public access even has a boat dock for meeting up with boating friends.
  • Fantastic space and location. Loved the interiors and had an amazing time

    Mike2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Bright, beautiful space; comfortable mattresses; sparkling clean surfaces; attentive but unobtrusive host; quiet neighbors. An ideal base from which to explore the county. All as advertised.

  • Understated sophistication with all the creature comforts one would hope for. I look forward to a return visit in the future.

  • Sean provides excellent accommodations that are very charming. Every detail is attended to. The location of both his Leelanau properties are gorgeous, secluded and serene, yet just a short drive to restaurants, wineries and cideries. We also appreciate that we can bring our corgi and lab in tow. They love the country hikes and being surrounded by nature. This home is pristine with a clean Scandinavian aesthetic. We enjoyed being surrounded by the fall colors at the treehouse, and the short hike to the gorgeous cherry orchard at the top of the hill. Next time we hope to spend a week at one of Sean's places in Leelanau!

    Jayne2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this home is excellent while spending time in the Lake Leelanau area. After reading the glowing reviews for this house, we were looking forward to our stay...unfortunately we experienced pest issues while guests in the home and overall did not enjoy our stay at this listing. Our first pest encounter was shortly after we arrived when my 18 year old daughter reached for an item on the kitchen counter and she noticed a quarter sized spider on the item which then jumped off the item and disappeared into a bag of popcorn sitting below. Shortly after that, my 15 year old son came downstairs to have us come up and listen to the noises in the walls of his bedroom (squeaks of mice or bats which were very active during our entire stay), the next morning while doing laundry my husband saw a mouse in the house. There were also a lot of dead bugs on almost every interior windowsill of the house, cobwebs full of dead bugs along the ceilings, etc. Uncomfortable, I messaged the owner thinking that he was out of town and unaware of the pest issues of the home. Sean was very responsive and replied immediately that he was aware of the issues, that he doesn't use pest control and that the wildlife is to be an expected part of staying at this property because of the woodland setting. Being someone that's very uncomfortable with these types of pests in my environment, I felt it would only be fair to prospective renters to clearly explain pests are not controlled in this dwelling and what one could expect could be during a stay. We left a night early (paid for 3, stayed 2) due to the issues and were promised a refund but haven't received one as of yet. Aside from the pests, I was also surprised the house offered no window coverings for privacy especially in the bathrooms & bedrooms. Also, the garbage bins outside were so full upon our arrival the lids wouldn't (Website hidden by Airbnb) extra bin perhaps would help with that situation as there was no place for us to place our full garbage bags. We felt as though this property is intended as a rental (going by the lack of closets & storage that a typical home offers) and not so much someone's home...looking at this house as a business, we felt that the house was not being run as well as it should be to make all guests as comfortable as possible compared to all of the other vacation rentals we've experienced during our travels.

    Jill2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • The Wayfarer was an absolutely lovely place for our winter getaway! We really enjoyed the seclusion in the woods and with the snow all around it felt even more isolated than it was. The beds are incredibly comfortable to come back to after a day of winter hiking, and the oversized tub is the perfect place to soak away the chill. It's also within a short drive of plenty of wineries, restaurants in Sutton's Bay or Leland, and lots of great hiking on and around the peninsula. We would love to visit again in the summer to enjoy the grill and the campfire.

    Tim2017-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • The guys had a great stay....they loved the (Website hidden by Airbnb) was spacious and the beds were just like home....we usually "sleep in" until 6:30 @ home....they didn't get themselves up until 9...now that's saying something.... I hope to stay at the house myself in the near future....! Beth....for Dave....David & Andy...

  • We had a great visit! Sean was very attentive and we will look forward to staying at one of his properties again! His decorating style and attention to detail made our stay very enjoyable!

  • A great place in the heart of Charlevoix! Quiet, clean and relaxing! Very comfortable bed and great layout with lots of windows for sunshine.

  • Justin and Robins place is in a great location close to town and the beach. Easy check in and check out. Will definitely be back.

  • Great location in a great little town. Ideal place to spend a few days or a few weeks.

    Bill2016-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and good house with smart technology. And there's games and movies that you can enjoy with your friends or family. The host Justin was easy to communicate. I would love to stay here again if I have a chance. :)

    YeBin2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Justin's cottage was very comfortable and clean. It was as described just a few blocks from the beach and downtown Charlevoix. Justin answered my questions quickly and was very accommodating. We had four adults and a baby in the cottage, it was just the right size for us. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. I would recommend renting this cottage. I will if I am in the area again. Laurie

    Laurie2014-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • There was a quick response time to email communications. The host gave us all of the information we needed to have a great stay. We stayed for three nights in the Cottage. There were 4 of us in our party, myself, my husband our 7 year old daughter and my Mother. We all enjoyed walking to town, the movies and the beach easily from this location. We found the beds very comfortable (SO important in a rental) and the listing is just as shown, cozy and quaint. The linens and towels were nice and there were enough for us all. We appreciated the nice coffee maker and the kitchen table area to play games and cards. We also enjoyed movies from Netflix and the great wifi. We appreciated the fans for the bedrooms and the air conditioner in the main living area. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook breakfasts and lunches, but we took advantage of the great restaurants near by for dinner. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck to read a book or to enjoy the nice weather. The neighbors were all very pleasant and we would return to this location. The only suggestion I would have is to consider another window unit for the master bedroom and to consider more comfortable seating in the living area. The futon was not bad, but two of us were fine there and the other two were not as comfortable in the evenings. We also appreciated that it was pet friendly. Charlevoix is surely a town of dog lovers as is the nearby Petoskey. Overall, we all thought it was a great experience and a nice cottage in an amazing location. Great for couples or families of 4 or less.

    Katie2016-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • Karl's place really is the perfect location for enjoying southwest Michigan's beautiful wineries. Our group loved how close they all were! The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our girls weekend away. Karl even picked fresh flowers from the property for our stay. Prior to our trip, Karl was quick to reply to any of our questions and did all he could to make it an enjoyable weekend for all.

    Ginny2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We loved having so many bedrooms and a pretty scenery out all the windows.

    Kristin2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Three Springs was perfect for our winery weekend getaway. It is literally down the street from 4 or 5 wineries in the area, great location. The property was just what we were looking for: private, secluded, comfortable. Karl was a very accommodating host. We had everything we needed in the house, check in was a breeze and he made himself very available if we needed anything.

This second- story, custom built cabin in the middle of a cherry orchard has huge windows that allow for great natural light. Polished concrete countertops and floors with radiant heat. Sleeps 6. One bath. Shared hot tub. Large decks. Basic kitchen. Please read this listing completely.
Up north at its best! The Treehouse sits on a pond among the birch and pines in a working cherry orchard. Built by my husband and me, with a whole lot of help from many friends, it clearly has love in the details. Large windows bring the daylight in and allow for dreamy star- gazing - maybe even the northern lights! Six person outdoor hot tub is shared with the cabin also on property. Locally made art. Big garden. Access to trails for hiking, groomed cross- country ski trails, and mountain biking all around the orchard and ponds. Minutes to Lake Michigan and Torch Lake beaches. The cabin makes a great getaway for couples and families. There is a sleeping loft which can sleep four and a private bedroom which sleeps two. Limited kitchen has a smart oven, countertop two burner range, microwave, sink, coffee maker, electric frying pan and refrigerator. The Treehouse can be rented in conjunction with The Cabin at Rocky Top Farms. Towels and linens are provided. You must have four- wheel drive to access the Treehouse in the winter, or plan to hike the 1/4 mile from the barn. Please note! This is a cabin and not a traditional treehouse! We don't mean to mislead with the name- The Treehouse is what we have always called it. *Please read this listing entirely!
We adore our very rural neighborhood! Just a couple miles from both Torch Lake and Lake Michigan-beaches abound! Ask us about our favorite spots. Hiking and paddling opportunities are plentiful. We are not far from XC, downhill skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Rocky Top Farms is centrally located between Traverse City and Petoskey. We are located just off 31N. Our nearest towns are Elk Rapids, Bellaire, and Charlevoix, and East Jordan. The closest villages are Torch Lake, Ellsworth, and Central Lake. There are so many things to check out while visiting- or- just laze around the farm!
  • Fun cute cabin that had plenty of space. You can tell a lot of hard work went into it to make it so cozy!

    Darius2016-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to get away and fall asleep and awake to the sounds of nature. There's plenty in the area to do and see. The cabin was the perfect combination of rustic and modern for our family -- not totally roughing-it, but as close to it as our family likes to get! Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time on the property. It's close enough to Traverse City to spend the day there, and we even spent one afternoon driving up to the Mighty Mac to get an authentic U.P. Pasty! Heidi was a great hostess and personally greeted us as we arrived and was nearby if we ever were to need anything.

    Aaron2016-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Heidi was an incredible hostess to say the least. She was very responsive ahead of time with answers to a range of questions. The house was incredible. It was warm and cozy and beautiful. The amenities were exactly what one should expect in a cottage. The farm that it was on was so pleasant and so serene. We greatly enjoyed walking around and taking it all in. We also greatly enjoyed all of the helpful hints and travel advice that Heidi provided. The location of the house was perfect for us. We did not want to be in the middle of the action and enjoyed having the ability to be close to all of the great sights and experiences of Northern Michigan while not being right next to them. Anyone who wants to visit Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Boyne, Harbor Springs, Mackinac Island or anything else north of the 45th parallel in Michigan will be greatly pleased with this incredible find. We also enjoyed the cleanliness of the house as well. Thank you Heidi for your incredible house and for sharing it with the world.

    Joshua2015-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Heidi was great! She checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. The Treehouse was even better than we expected. It was very clean, and decorated very uniquely! Overall a wonderful experience!

    Jennifer2014-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I along with our dog Toby had such a great visit at Rocky Top Farms for our one year wedding anniversary! The location is great as it is convenient to Traverse City, Charlevoix, Bellaire, Central Lake, Elk Rapids and many other locations for great food, shopping, activities and beaches. However, it still offers the opportunity to go to sleep hearing the crickets and frogs and wake up to a wonderful view of the trees and sunlight. It is so peaceful and refreshing! We seriously did not want to leave! Heidi did such a great job as a host making sure to check in on us and also provide some great restaurant recommendations! As everyone has said, the cherry butter is out of this world and make sure you don't leave without picking up some from the store:) We can't wait to visit again! Thanks for everything Heidi!

    John2015-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this cabin. In 3 days we only left once, and that was a quick trip to the nearby market for some snacks! The heated floors we're perhaps the best part on the cold winter nights! The hot tub is very quick walk down the steps closer to the other cabin. My only advice would be to play better than we did (it was snowing and all of our towels and boots got covered in snow!) but that only made the trip more memorable. We have many great stories about our trips back from the hot tub. The scenery is stunning. The house is really well stocked with cooking supplies, extra paper towel, extra toiletries and anything else we needed. We did set off the smoke alarm a few times while cooking (...who knew bacon would smoke so much?!) but it was easily fixed by opening the doorwall and moving the two-burner stove top out from under the smoke alarm. Certainly not a problem during warmer months when keeping the windows open isn't a problem! I would recommend The Tree House to anyone looking to visit northern MI. Thank you, Heidi, for making our New Years Eve trip so memorable.

    Jenna2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Treehouse was everything and more! This was my first weekend away with my boyfriend and we had such an amazing time. The treehouse is such a warm and welcoming home, the perfect place to unplug. We were so happy to bring our dog and walk the orchards. We tried several places on their list of recommendations and loved everything. Heidi was very prompt with responses and help when we had questions. We will definitely be coming back in the future! Missing the treehouse already!

Beautiful land, rustic, comfortable home, quiet & private! Take a hot tub at sunset looking out over property, cook in our great kitchen; have a campfire at night. Oh yeah, really nice bedrooms w/sliding glass doors. Listen to the wind thru pines.
Our four-season dwelling is on 4 acres of gardens, pines, and ponds. One small Japanese pond, and a really big pond out back which goes up and down with the river. That's the Galien River which is at the west end of the property. A very comfortable hot tub (2 seater and great jets!) is just outside one of the bedrooms on the porch with a lovely view of the land. It feels like more than 4 acres because there are blueberry fields all around and you can't see or hear any of the neighbors. We have 40 mature organic blueberry bushes ourselves which are free for the picking from July-Sept. There is a pet fee of $20/night. The home has 2 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a Queen size bed and a small sofa bed. The other bedroom has a trundle bed with 2 twin beds that can connect or not. In the living room is a long sofa bed that folds down to become a full bed. Really comfortable. We also have two Queen size raised air beds which can be set up in the living room, in a big a 4-person tent outside in the summer, or on the porch. 2 bathrooms, one with a marble walk-in shower and the other with an old fashioned laid-back bathtub. And- a fantastic record collection of Classic Jazz and Modern Classical albums! Home has a beautiful kitchen with a big stainless steel refrigerator, great stove, lots of cooking tools and lots of space for creating great meals. Plus a few Weber BBQ's outside for grilling. All rooms have sliding glass doors looking out to the whole property. The big screen porch (14'x26') is great. We eat and even watch TV out there, which is a LEDHD TV. (Streaming available) - Or play the piano? The house is all wireless, ceiling fans in all the rooms and on porch, and air conditioning/central heat. Great for a romantic and peaceful getaway, a small wedding, honeymoon, family reunions or small retreat groups. Three Oaks is only 90 minutes from Chicago in beautiful Harbor Country, with sparkling beaches, art galleries, great restaurants, dunes and hiking trails. Sometimes we love the winter even more than the summer out here...with the cozy fireplace and tons of firewood at your disposal- or use the fire pit and have a campfire outside. You can even cross-country ski right out back and down the little slope to the river! You will not want to leave when you're here. No one does.
Since I've been here for almost 30 years, I know all my neighbors and we're all good friends. I've always felt very safe in this neighborhood. Everyone looks out for each other. (It's a good way to live.)
  • The blueberry field house was everything we were hoping it would be! Donna was warm and welcoming and was available whenever we had a question. The house had plenty of space indoor and outdoors. We loved sitting on the patio with the screen that kept out the bugs! The town nearby had a nice brewery and some restaurants but we were content to hang out at the house and cook for ourselves. The kitchen had everything we needed! Warren Dunes State Park is nearby and was a great place to relax on the beach and swim! Thank you so much for your hospitality and beautiful space. I had the perfect birthday weekend. My dog Socrates keeps asking when we are going back! We hope to return again!

    Danielle2014-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Donna' place was wonderful for our weekend getaway with another young family. The toddlers loved roaming around the grounds, and Donna's place made it so easy for the adults to kick back and relax. We loved the fireplace, record player, and hot tube! The proximity to multiple Harbor County towns made it easy to find activities during the day. It was just what we needed for a getaway from the city!

    Ellie2018-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • We wanted to spend a cozy night away in front of a fireplace, so when we saw that Blueberry Fields has an awesome wood-burning fireplace as well as a killer outdoor hot tub that is usable in winter, we were raring to go. The house is very funky and worldly and just cool. The only snafu was that Donna's $75 cleaning fee was not included in the checkout price, leading to a little back-and-forth between me and airbnb and her to get it sorted out, so just be sure you are cognizant of the cleaning fee. Overall, this is a serene, warm, beautiful place for a very relaxing stay. We hope to come back in summer with friends!

    Joshua & Kat2014-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time we have stayed at Donna's beautiful property. Every nook and cranny at Donna's is cozy and delightful. Her house has such personality and charm. The hot tub is an added bonus to a place that exudes relaxation and peacefulness. Donna is always easy to reach, responds immediately, and was flexible to meet our needs. A great host and a great property! We will be back again!

    Jessica2015-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • Donna was sure to welcome my guests upon their arrival. The house was so warm and welcoming so it was easy to make ourselves at home. The kitchen has everything that you could possibly need in it so I definitely recommend bringing groceries. We def made sure to make use of the hot tub. All 4 of us were able to sit in it comfortably! Thank you Donna for opening up your home to us!

    Raketa2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Blueberry Fields was the best Airbnb experience we have had yet. Donna's home is a treasure filled with warmth and good energy. The landscape is beautiful, and very secluded and quiet. The house is equipped with everything you could need, and very clean. We read books and listened to records in front of the large fireplace, and took dips in the cozy hot tub. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

    Alan2014-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Donna's home was purely majestic. The inside was cozy, warm, and had everything you might need. But the land is where it's at. Do yourself a favor and grab a tea and walk the property to admire the astounding number of different plant and tree species. Grab breakfast and sit on her porch to watch the sun come up. We left Donna's feeling truly renewed. If you are lucky, you will meet your host Donna who is delightful in every way!

    Emily2014-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our winter stay. The house is very comfortable with a fireplace (lots of wood and kindling provided) and a very private hot tub that we made good use of. There is an incredibly well equipped kitchen and the open living/dining room floor plan works well. The main bedroom is large and the bed felt great. Since it was just two of us we used the second bedroom as a cozy reading room. Donna was very welcoming and we appreciated her opening her home to us.

Charming loft space in quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown shopping and dining. Close to beaches, ski resorts and cultural attractions. Over detached garage--very private--come and go as you please. Perfect for couple or (very) small family.
Very clean. Simply and tastefully furnished. Plenty of natural light, wood flooring. One bedroom with queen-size bed. Sofa (not a pull-out) in the sitting room can provide extra sleep space. No kitchen, but space is furnished with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. Flat-screen TV. Cable and wifi access. Please note the Loft is above our detached garage and is accessed via two short flights of stairs.
Please visit the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce website for more information on the area.
  • Our immediate impression was that this place was lovely! Radiant heat was already running by the time we got there so the temperature was nice and cozy after a whole day of skiing. Really well-designed interior, clean and simple. Looks like the bathroom was just remodeled; it was our favorite part to look at! Great location - we walked into downtown for dinner and drinks. Lovely host. Absolutely no complaints!

  • We were in the Petoskey area and hoping to extend our weekend by one day. Andrea was very responsive to our last minute request. The loft was as advertised, and in a great location to explore the area. Andrea was very helpful and thorough in explaining the amenities of her loft and the area when she personally welcomed us. We highly recommend the loft and would love to stay there again in the future.

Welcome to Esther House. We took a 1930's catalog vacation cabin and turned it into an inviting 2 bedroom retreat home. We are steps to the Spring Lake Beach and Village, bike paths, a 2.5 mile bike or car ride to the beaches of Grand Haven.
This charming, fully rehabbed 2 bedroom home makes for the perfect getaway, and the best alternative to a Hotel/Motel in the area. Although the footprint of Esther house is small, we offer 1100 sq ft of comfort over the basement, main level and lofted bedroom, designed with easy and comfortable living in mind. A fully stocked custom kitchen with high-end appliances, granite breakfast bar and an open plan to the cozy living/dining room. Small dinette table seats four. The living room has a comfortable sofa, reading chair and 42" TV. No cable, but its hooked up to stream all your favorites. In the basement we have a brand new bedroom with a queen sized bed, nightstands and dresser. A separate utility area with washer/dryer. Nice and quite fenced back yard with a cement patio.
The home is located in historic Strawberry Pointe area of Spring Lake, Michigan. The area is littered with these small cabins that once served as hunting and fishing vacation homes in the 30's, 40's and 50's. We are walking distance to the Spring Lake public beach, the expansive bike trails of the area and to the Village Baker (a must visit for great baked goods, fantastic brunch and dinners, as well as a great cup of coffee!!)
  • The house was clean, very well decorated, and exactly as described. Frederick was kind and accommodating when needed. I would definitely book this house again or any of his other properties without hesitation. Highly recommended.

  • Very clean, great location and quiet neighborhood. Accommodations were great and we had everything we needed during our stay.

  • Nice little place for a Michigan getaway!

    Seth2018-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Esther House was clean and updated with every detail in mind. The home is just a few blocks from the Village Baker, a great spot to grab breakfast, and a short drive from downtown Grand Haven and the Hoffmaster State Park. We had a wonderful time enjoying everything the area had to offer and enjoyed returning to the house each day.

    Tiffany2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • So cute!! Close to the little beach at Spring Lake.

    Abigail2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our time here was great! The house was very clean, beautiful and cozy. Just minutes away from Grand Haven, it was a perfect location for our little getaway! Would highly recommend this place!

  • We had such a good time here! The house is beautiful, the location is great, and Frederick is an amazing host. We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Spring Lake!

    Hannah2017-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Frederick was a great host and was easy to contact if we had any questions during our stay. Both beds were EXTREMELY comfortable making it easy for us to sleep in every day of our stay. Beautiful home + clean + comfortable beds + walking distance to water + responsive host + great price = one great vacation spot.

Country getaway! Located 1/2way between 2 small towns: Pinckney and Howell. Near Nature and Recreation areas. Our place is secluded and along a private road - but shopping restaurants and highway for commute are only 10 minutes away. Only 1/2 hour -45 minutes to Downtown Ann Arbor and University of Michigan. Our Private Lake (no public launch) is GREAT for fishing, swimming, kayak and canoeing. Birds and wildlife abound. Peace and quiet given and expected! Available all year round - in the winter there is skiing nearby - either cross country or downhill. Four bedroom and 4 full baths, fireplace, open floorplan with open kitchen/great room with vaulted ceiling, wrap-around deck and wrap around patio off walk-out finished basement. Fully furnished and well-appointed kitchen. Laundry room, game room stocked with card and board games, bookshelves full of books, 2 TVs with DVD players and large movie collection (no cable TV and NO INTERNET service unless you bring your own hotspot via cell phone.) We also have a firepit with sit-upon logs for roasting marshmallows or weenies.. We have a shore area, 2 rowboats, a 4-person paddleboat, and a 2-person kayak for exploring the private 82-acre lake.
Rural location for those wishing for a place "off the beaten path" and surrounded by nature. I do have neighbors, but am on almost 2 acres nestled into the side of a hill, along a private road, with 200ft lakefront on small sleepy lake. Our little private road is paved, but narrow. No parking on the street, plenty of parking in my long driveway, 4-6 cars easily.
  • I would stay in the Lakehouse in Howell again. We wanted a laid back, family vacation, and the house had a joined kitchen and living room, a big TV in the basement, no internet (which helped us bond better), and the lake was a blast to boat and swim in. The interior of the house was fancifully decorated. The views of the lake, the grass, and the woods helped us relax. Susan was helpful and professional.

    S2016-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • The house is exactly as advertised, and our family had a lovely week.

    Sean2015-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's cottage is beautiful. The home is a "cool" space with all the amenities necessary. The property is stunning with beautiful vistas. Susan is a very accommodating host and we would definitely book again.

    Camille2016-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We just got home from an amazing trip! A total of 3 families (6 adults and 7 kiddos under age 4) wanted to get together and go 'glamping.' We've never used AirBnB before and didn't know what to expect but Susan exceeded every expectation possible. We didn't know if we needed to pack paper towels, soap, salt etc and she let me know (promptly after emailing her with questions) that the place was stocked... and she wasn't kidding. Any kitchen appliance you would need is there, along with any type of entertainment you might need (anything from DVDs to toys for kiddos to marshmallow roasting supplies to lawn darts etc). There are TONS of chairs and places to sit/relax and everyone had a bed. She filled up the propane tanks for the grill and let us use the boats on the lake. We brought our own slip and slide equipment and bought water guns from a Walmart (15 min away) for some amazing summer fun, but we really didn't even need to do that (but that hill behind the house was begging for a mega slip and slide)! The weather was amazing, which I'm sure helped our experience, but we would have been plenty cozy if we were rained 'in' with lots to do on the inside too. She left us some organic salsa and made us a fire when we checked in. Good times. Will DEFINITELY come back! Thanks Susan!!!

    Kelly2014-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • This house was a lot of fun for all 9 of us who stayed there and even though it’s location seemed far away from everything we were very close to everywhere we needed to go. The lake was great and the kids enjoyed taking all the boats out on it. We would definitely stay here again!

    Tamara2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • An absolute oasis! We came from Chicago to enjoy the peace and quiet and do a workshop retreat. Everything was perfect. Susan is organized and thoughtful and very prompt in responding to any questions. Her home is infused with the art and joy of a creative family with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the fire pit and the dock and birdsong every morning and had dinner on the deck every night. Absolutely perfect for unplugging, unwinding and reconnecting with your friends and family. For being so private, everything you need is close by; there's an amazing farm stand just up the road, a Busch's in Pinckney and a Meijer within 10 minutes. Thank you so much, Susan, for opening your Lake house to us. Cannot wait to come back! (note: Be sure to follow her directions from the highway, as your GPS will take you to a different location)

    Janada2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was amazing. She was communicative and helpful from the very beginning of the process. She answered all my questions and provided me all the information I needed. My friends met with Susan and said nothing but nice things about her. Her rental was stocked with everything we needed: paper towels, paper plates, towels, TP, all kitchen items, spices, etc. The yard is HUGE. Very good for outdoor activities. We set up a slip and slide down along the hill. We also set up a volleyball net by the small beach house. We sat around the campfire one night and made smores. It was the perfect yard. The lake is a great size. Small enough to be quiet, but large enough to ride a boat around. We took the boats out to the floating dock in the middle of the lake and swam in the water. Our friends fished from the dock and caught an array of fish from bass to pike! (My boyfriend caught a 20in fish!) There are 2 fireplaces inside, We used the lower level fireplace to make smores and to get cozy :). We also watched a movie from the collection of dvds/vhs that were there. All 4 bathrooms were very clean for our group of 7. Everyone had a bed and it was very comfortable. This house was an absolute dream. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend Susan for any future lakehouse vacations :)

    Justine2014-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • The lakefront house was nice! There were nice touches that we appreciated. A baby swing was hung and we used it a ton! Having access to the lake was a huge bonus, too! We were delighted to use the row boats at our desire! This house is suited for one couple with a bunch of kids. There were a couple of issues that Susan told us about during her tour that she gave upon arrival. She told us that the spring in the dishwasher doesn’t work and that the door was heavy. I opened it but didn’t realize how quick it would open- still have a huge bruise on my thigh! All is well, though, I was warned! :) The basement lights didn’t work due to a storm. There was a fix of lamps around the perimeter. It worked out just fine! Susan is so hospitable and kind! A super nice person to rent from!

  • Perfect vacation spot! Close to Suttons Bay, Leland, and Traverse City making day trips a snap. You won't want to leave the gorgeous grounds however; perfect back drop for enjoying time outside on the spacious deck. The house itself is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Had everything we needed for grilling and/or cooking! You won't regret a stay at the farmhouse!

    Katie2014-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • What else is there to say? The Farmhouse is incredible. I booked a four night stay following my wedding in Northport. The setting was perfect, and it was the ideal place to entertain family and friends. Each detail is cooler than the next, and it will continue to serve as design inspiration for my new home. You will not regret booking this fabulous Farmhouse.

    Michael2014-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful experience at the farmhouse. While the house and property was very private and offered picturesque landscapes, it was also a short drive from everything of interest (Sleeping Bear, Fishtown, Sutton's Bay, downtown Northport, etc.). The house worked beautifully for this family of four; we will certainly stay again on our next visit to Michigan.

    Patrick2015-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • My husband & I are creatures of habit. And within two or three days of our stay at the Farmhouse, we were in discussion about how to swing returning to it as soon as possible. Every positive and pleased word shared in previous reviews are the utter truth about the home & Sean. I'll add that part of the farm's charm is it's location. Neighbors don't exist and to run a simple errand you may need to budget 20-40 minutes, but it's so worth it. We live a completely crazy life, we run all. the. time. This place forced us to thoughtfully slow down and simplify things. We planned some super fun day trips and added in that driving time (I think our furtherest trip was to Sleeping Bear) and still got back in time for our dog, Chauncey. By the way, if you have a well-mannered, housebroken, and trained dog that you enjoy traveling with, the home was very comfortable and safe for our boy. City folk: there are no fences (thank goodness!) out here, so remember a good lead for tying your dog up. We were also pleasantly surprised by how dog-friendly the small communities surround Northport were. Many allowed us to walk him inside with us and two of the national parks we visited welcomed him. So grateful for the time away and we're appreciative of Sean for sharing his home. Great place to visit and very highly recommended!

    Julia2013-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sean's Modern Farmhouse. The house was clean, well appointed, with very comfortable beds, a great kitchen and lovely quiet location. Would return in a heartbeat! Actually looking forward to plan another stay. Thank you Sean for everything!

    Susan2016-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Sean's home sits in a perfectly idyllic setting in Northport and is exactly as described. We loved our long weekend there! The location allows you to return from hiking, shopping, eating, exploring, wine tasting to a quiet spot to lay in the hammock or read a book. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area for preparing and eating some of the local fare we found at the farmers' market. Yoga on the bluff in the morning and we returned in the evenings to watch sunset while sipping champagne. Truly a lovely home!

    Carole2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Sean's house with a group of friends on a snowy February weekend. It was the perfect getaway. The home is expertly insulated, so we were never cold. The wood stove kept us very warm, and the sauna kept us happy. The home is perfectly furnished; the kitchen is well stocked. It was the perfect home for an escape from the city. I'm already looking forward to visiting in the summer!

    Jonathan2013-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The modern farmhouse more than exceeded expectations. My party and I spent the entirety of our first evening fawning over the beautiful home and landscape, preemptively mourning that we did not book more time. The decor of the home was not only beautiful, but incredibly well thought out -the needs of the guest are well considered. We will definitely be back.

This private studio suite acquires the best area of our 100+ year old house. A modified parlor and sunroom with traditional glass windows overlook historic Heritage Hill. Minutes from downtown, you'll be able to experience the best of Grand Rapids!
Our private studio suite is located within what we jokingly call the "East Wing" of our 100+ year old home. It has its own front door and is locked off from the rest of the house, so you'll be able to rest at ease knowing that you won't be sharing with others. Traditional glass windows wrap around the sunroom, creating a perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and sit on the couch while the sun sets. The suite offers a full kitchen and bathroom with a queen size bed.
Our neighborhood is part of the historical Heritage Hill district of Grand Rapids. Home owners in this area go to great lengths to keep up to code to preserve the aesthetics of this old neighborhood. A half block away is the Meyer May House designed by Frank Llyod Wright and is considered Michigan's Prairie masterpiece.
  • The place was great! Easy entry, clean and cute. The location made it convenient to get around on foot or uber. Wish we could've stayed longer and would love to stay again.

    Kali2017-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Cody for a great stay. The studio was as described. Due to the weather we were forced to drive or uber to our surrounds but am sure it is a nice walk in the summer. Would definitely rent again. Thanks!

  • Very nice place!

    Sebastian2016-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I planned to come up to Grand Rapids for a concert on Halloween but when we saw the listing we decided to make it a weekend trip. She was thrilled, it was a beautiful place the neighborhood was wonderful and we loved the city ! Cody was readily available and super friendly. We'll be back !

    Christopher2015-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Although we didn't have the opportunity to meet Cody, he was always available and helpful via text, which was definitely convenient. The suite itself was everything we expected and so much more---super cozy, cute, and stocked with all the essentials for a weekend getaway. It was also super conveniently located and Cody left some awesome recommendations to try. We would definitely stay here again and really enjoyed our stay in Grand Rapids!

    Erin2016-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to stay to enjoy what Grand Rapids has to offer. Would highly recommend. Cody was also an excellent host and made the process very easy. Overall, cannot get much better!

    Mike2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and value. Hair in the bathrooms from prior occupants and the space was not an entire home.

    Isaiah2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was the 1st time we stayed at and airbnb and it was great! We loved the sun porch, great place for reading. We also took Cody's reco to eat at the Green Wall - outstanding. His place is 3 blocks from our daughters apartment (she has roommates and no air conditioning so we don't stay there when we visit). This will be our 1st choice when visiting her.

The Grand Mere Coach House is in an eclectic neighborhood surrounded by Lake Michigan, small lakes, and sand dunes. Grand Mere Park is a year around beautiful place for walking, cross country skiing, and sledding. The family room and kitchen face Lake Michigan with lots of windows. The house has a queen bedroom, queen pullout in family room, and laundry. A bird feeder adds to the charm. There is also a HOT TUB located on the back patio directly on Lake Michigan, behind the main house.
The coach house is on the Lake with a view of Lake Michigan and normally a beach. It has a full kitchen a living room with a queen pullout and a queen bedroom and bath. Grand Mere State Park is very close containing 600 acres of dunes, trails and several thousand feet of beach. Note: Lake Michigan is currently at very high levels and we have to access the beach from the public beach 100' to the south. The beach is still walkable all of the way to the south into the state park.
Grand Mere is an eclectic neighborhood in between Lake Michigan and 2 inland lakes. Grand Mere State Park containing 600 acres of lakes and dunes is next (website hidden). Joseph, New Buffalo, and wine country are within 15 minutes.
  • Pasamos tres noches junto a mi familia.

    GINA2015-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great beach house! This was pretty much exactly what we were looking for. Our own place where we could walk to the beach. John was very helpful, greeting us and answering any questions we had. The beach was very quiet and beautiful. A little rocky along the water but we didnt mind too much. The neighborhood is quiet and cute and close to town. It was a great stay and would definitely recommend!

    Erin2015-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a little gem! We stayed in the winter so not much beachgoing, but the sunsets were still beautiful and sitting in the hot tub with waves crashing nearby was great. John is very responsive to messages/questions and helpful.

    Erica2016-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • My business partner and I needed to get away from the office to focus on being creative. John's Carriage House was the perfect place. It was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. John was a great host, and we had complete privacy to work on our business. There are wonderful views of Lake Michigan and the sound of waves are awesome to put you to sleep. Very convenient to 94, but yet very secluded place. Would go there again.

    Sam2015-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic place! Honestly, I don't think you could get closer to Lake Michigan. John was a friendly, helpful host that made Corbin and I feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is fantastic and was all we needed and more. Thanks a bunch John, if we are looking for another weekend away, we will be looking up your house. Thanks again, Erik

    Erik2016-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing. We came from Chicago and it was the perfect get away from the city! It is right on the beach and also has very easy access to a dunes hiking trail. We were able to watch the sunset over the lake while in the hot tub! John was in Berlin but still called to check in on us- a great host. Place was clean and perfect for two of us. We had total privacy, as no neighbors around this weekend but I imagine that the neighborhood may be a bit busier in the summer. Hope to stay here again soon!

    Katie2016-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great! The house is clean and bright, the view is amazing and the hot tub and fire pit made it even better. Thanks John!

    Jill2016-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house is nestled in a very quiet neighborhood right on the edge of Grand Mere state park. You can walk out the door and be on the trails amongst the sand dunes in less then 3 minutes. You could easily spend the whole weekend between the park and the house and enjoy yourself thoroughly. The coach house itself was perfect for two, and gave us ample room for cooking and games. John pointed us towards some nice area restaurants and we made a day trip from Benton Harbor up to Virtue Cider in Fenneville. Great weekend!

  • Our stay at Marta's house was absolutely wonderful. The space was perfect for our group of three, very comfortable, and in a quiet, quaint area. We were so appreciative of her help in suggesting things to do in the area and kindness in interactions with us. We would definitely stay again!

  • Cutest house! Great location from downtown.

    Alexis2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for hosting us again this year. Kendall and Marta were responsive to our needs. The house is close to downtown Traverse City and also the GT Commons. Gatsby loved the fenced back yard and so did we. It is about an acre but be prepared to climb as the yard is on quite a hill. Gatsby had no difficulty but we needed our Yaktrax to maneuver when the snow became crusty. The Fiestaware complements the mid century modern motif. The king bed and pillows were comfy but one person will need to crawl into the bed as no room on the side to get into the bed. We appreciated the large fluffy towels and Gatsby appreciated the ‘dog towels” The kitchen was well stocked with basic staples if you want to cook. Hope to see you next year.

  • We had an amazing stay at the Sofo house. Overall, the house was very clean, plus it had a large fenced-in yard, which was great for our dog. There were three bedrooms, so my daughters had their own rooms, plus you had privacy from the road and the neighbors downstairs. The amenities were nice, with a TV, modern kitchen appliances, and outlets for electronic devices. Plus, it was only a mile from downtown.I think that this property was a great choice for our Traverse City stay, and I would book this house again.

  • Host was very accommodating to our need to arrive early. Everything you need is provided!

  • Clean, good communication, safe location. Some street noise but did not keep us awake.

  • We felt extremely welcome and had an amazing time at Hanuman's Cabin on the Path! It was a great opportunity to recharge and relax in a natural setting. We loved the corn pancakes! Thanks for the memories!

  • Everything was ready for my arrival with plenty of wood to stoke the stove. Breakfast was scrumptious on both mornings. The quietude in the cabin in the woods was very welcome.

  • Great hosts, fantastic breakfast. Thanks for a nice get away!

    Dawn2016-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Our experience was fantastic: quiet and revitalizing. We warmed our spiced wine on the woodstove, explored some of the nearby trails on unpeopled lakes, and came back to a warm cabin as the temperature dipped and rain began to fall. The next morning we ate a proper hot breakfast with all the fixns, deliciously prepared and elegantly served. The cabin itself is exquisite and comfortable, not only in furniture but overall environment as well. The interior is open yet cozy with nature views in every window, a couldn't-be-better sitting area next to the stove, and a well-placed bench on either exterior side. We inquired about the cabin on short notice and were so happy to be welcomed promptly. Mully and Deb met us with a smile and showed us their lovely handiwork, explained the need-to-knows and their process (wood stove, lights, breakfast choices, etc.), brought us up to speed with the local area, and made it known they were available if we needed anything. We would certainly retreat here again and for more than a night next time!

    Evan2014-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful spot to get away from your phone, sit back and listen to the quiet sounds of the woods at night and in the early morning. We definitely want to find a time to go back real soon. The breakfasts are scrumptious with so many choices offered when you check in. Molly and Deb aim high and genuinely want to make sure you are served what suits you the best. I love how in this tiny space there is still a feeling of separate rooms. Great use of the small space. For animal lovers there is a very friendly and delightful 4 legged greeter who may welcome you. I Loved this cats attention as well as its sensitivity to go and play somewhere else for a while. Since I love cat more than my friend it was perfect this cat knew the difference. I highly recommend this spot and find that it would be wonderful on a solo retreat as well. While in the area try out The Common Grill in downtown Chelsea. Great food!

    Joyce2017-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • I love Mully and Deb's cabin! It was an excellent getaway before the upcoming semester. My wife and I slept comfortably and loved being in the woods. There was a certain tranquility to the cabin and surrounding area. Highly suggest this to anyone looking to disconnect from the world for a bit.

    Daniel2014-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • A quaint, intimate haven on the best trail in SE Michigan. The space is quiet, the surroundings are beautiful. Even the sheets smell fresh and sweet. Deb and Mully are gracious hosts and serve local, organic, gorgeous meals. I found solitude in the cabin and on the trail. Best of all, I was fortunate one morning to see two white-tailed deer.

    Kim2013-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our time away from our busy lives to relax. The cabin was cute, the walking paths were beautiful. Great hosts, wonderful food, and an overall wonderful experience.

Heart of Downtown TC on Union Street at the corner of Union and State! This Rustic Modern Loft is located just behind front street, only a block from the beach and everything that downtown Traverse City has to offer. Restaurants, festivals, coffee shops, movie theaters, you name it.
This iconic 130 year old building was once home to a printing press. Its towering brick walls stand 12 feet tall and were hand made using clay that is unmistakable to our area, from the waters of Cedar Lake just west of Downtown. The tasteful renovation included the restoration of the original old growth maple floors throughout, plus the repurposing of historic doors, windows, fixtures, and local barn wood beams and boards, as well as many custom pieces from local artisans.
This block is in the heart of downtown, set less than a block behind Front Street on Union. Multiple restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and all sorts of retail are within just a few steps out the door.
  • This place is just fantastic. Our host is super resonsive and gave great instructions on check-in and parking. The location is very convenient and walkable. The apartment is stylish and comfortable and the host provided nice extras like coffee and very nice linens and sundries.

    Carol2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is beautiful, the shower is amazing, and the quality of materials and fixtures throughout are outstanding. Lastly location location location, it is perfect to enjoy downtown T.C.

    Ryan2018-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Loft is a gorgeous space in a perfect location in the center of TC. The closet space and bathroom were so roomy and it truly made it feel more like a home and less like a hotel room. We enjoyed the TV and access to steaming, too. Due to its location downtown, you may notice some extra noise from the outside (ie: people leaving the restaurants late, trucks making deliveries, seagulls, garbage pickup, etc.) that may be difficult for light sleepers. This comes with the territory and was a small price to pay for the location and value. Thanks Saburi and Heidi!

    Rachel2018-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful loft in great location for shopping and restaurants. Loved that we could walk everywhere and come back to relax in this very comfortable setting.

    Zhaoxian2017-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • While my wife and I were unable to stay at Heidi's place (unforeseen issue), we were able to stop in and see the loft. The loft was spotless, unique, nicely decorated and in a great location.

    Nathan2018-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Heidi's apartment was perfect for a weekends getaway. It was easy to get into the apartment and park our car. The apartment is perfectly clean and decorated beautifully. The location is perfect for walking around Traverse City or driving up to the vineyards! We'll be back!

  • Funky cozy cottage in the woods where you feel very far removed from the big city. the cottage is well equipped and very spacious, and Linda and Flloyd took great care of us! We will definitely be returning soon...

  • Awesome. We had a great time. The cabin is spacious and Floyd'll give you the lay of the land. We plan on returning.

    Jonn2012-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay in Floyd's cabin. Linda and Floyd were incredibly welcoming! And the cabin itself was terrific - filled with incredible furniture, a wood burning fireplace that was already to be lit, a cozy kitchen and surrounded by woods. Thanks for a wonderful few days.

    Dana2013-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice time at the cabin. It was VERY spacious, comfortable and a nice clean space for my family and dog to stay. The location was convenient to the beach, less than 3 minute drive. the decor was "artistic" and interesting. Our 3 year old boy found the pieces to be great! Great breweries and wineries nearby Lots of antiquing in the area, although not quite our cup of tea. It seems like the area is full of lots of vacation homes for folks from Chicago. Thanks to Linda and Floyd to hosting us.

    Sean2015-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy cabin. Check-in was seem less and hosts were very friendly. Clean and well equipped home. Great area as well.

    Matt2014-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely, relaxing time at Floyd's cabin. Very unique and inviting decor that's fun to admire. Kitchen is well stocked and the location to dining, brewery and market are very appealing. Also loved that our dogs were able to accompany us, we will definitely be back!

    Megan2015-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is even more wonderful in person than the pictures can illustrate! The wonderful artwork, furniture made by Floyd, conveniences in the kitchen, comfy living space, and cozy bedroom all made our stay one to remember. Floyd was generous enough to let us check out his workshop and had great recommendations for things to do in the area. Great location for exploring harbor country - close to a gorgeous beach, yummy food spots, and biking routes galore. Would love to stay here again next year!

    Julie2013-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Linda and Floyd's cabin. It was cozy, had all the amenities and in a great location. Easy access to the wine country, Sawyer and Lake Michigan. Both Floyd and Linda were great hosts, finding a replacement TV when the picture tube went out on the one there and being extremely responsive to our questions and/or requests. There were some minor drawbacks: The hot water is very limited. The bed was really tiny and, finally, it's not as secluded as we thought. Floyd's workshop is adjacent (shares a walkway). That said - we found the cabin wonderful and would definitely come back.

Me, my husband, my in-laws, and my two children spent five nights at Jack’s place, and we created many great memories around his dining room table after preparing food using his state-of-the-art cooktop. Most afternoons we took a chilly walk on the path by the lake, and enjoyed the wildlife (deer and birds) that would wander into the yard throughout the day. I don’t have a lot of experience using AirBnB, and Jack has definitely set the bar very high for both timely communication and thoughtful touches and amenities in his home. If you are looking for a quiet spot conveniently located near the University of Michigan and downtown Ann Arbor Jack’s place should top your list. Thanks, Jack!” Alyssa

  • The home has great furniture and an array of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. The space facilitates group time both in the house and outside the house. Our group thought the home was an excellent value and was very thoughtfully put together.

  • We just came back home after my daughter's graduation from University of Michigan. We spent out time in Ann Arbor hosted by Jack in his magnificent home. The house was gorgeous. Large, clean, fully remodeled. The location is outstanding. The river view in the backyard is just amazing. Above all was Jack. He was very welcoming and accommodating. He answered all of our questions and made our trip very smooth and happy. I can go on and on, but the one thing that is for sure, we were so lucky to have stayed there. In fact, we are thinking of making a weekend trip there just to stay in the house and have a good time.

  • My sons high school football team came to Michigan to play at The Big House. We spent 10 hours in the car and arrived to a beautiful house. We were able to completely relax after such a long drive. The house was only minutes from the stadium which made our weekend a perfect experience. Jack had yogurts and ice pops waiting for us. Nice fluffy towels and a beautiful view to wake up to!

    Courtney2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jack was a fantastic host! He made sure the lights were on for us as we were arriving late at night. There was also a nice card, snacks, and info about the surrounding area on the table when we arrived. Jack also checked in by message to make sure everything went alright. Overall a really great place with a fantastic lake view!!

    Shoshana2016-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! The breakfast was wonderful and the view was amazing. There are a couple quirks about the house that it might be helpful to know: it is a little dim inside at night even with all the lights on, so just be careful walking around. Also, the freezer is in the basement laundry area instead of in the kitchen. It wasn't a problem for us, but it was definitely unusual. Overall, we had a lovely stay and appreciate Jack's hospitality!

  • This place is STUNNING. If you are looking for a cottage in the middle of northern wilderness where you can still have a hot shower and a comfy bed, this is it. The lake and surrounding woods are absolutely beautiful, and the cabin itself is unbelievably gorgeous. Though it is in almost every way a modern home, it still feels like a rustic cottage (we chose to not turn on the lights at night to complete the effect). Whomever designed the house made every last detail special--the most incredible of which is the fine willow woodwork on all the railings. We came here for our honeymoon and it was perfect for that, but it would also work well for families with kids, or for a large group. Our advice: book this place for a week (we were only here four nights and it was too short for us), bring enough food, TP, projects, and reading for that long, and then stash your car in the woods and pretend you're stranded there! We brought our own coffee grinder and moka pot. Other than that, Michelle has just about every modern convenience you could need to cook delicious food. If you want your kids to stay off (Hidden by Airbnb) , tell Tina in advance to unplug and hide the internet hookup. Michelle has tons and tons of recreational equipment, there is a trail to follow with a treehouse to find, and lots of nature to explore. The only hint that there is civilization anywhere is the faint sound of the occasional truck driving down 95. Much louder than that, however, are the nightly gathering cries of coyotes in the woods--or are they wolves? Either way, it was pretty cool to hear. We also saw a beaver swimming back and forth, and turtles, and chipmunks. On a rainy day you could stay inside and watch a movie or play one of the many board games in the cabin. On our rainy day we drove to Marquette for lunch and then on to take the Pictured Rocks boat tour in Munising. Both of which we highly recommend. Marquette is the cutest little seaside town, with cool shops and restaurants. The Pictured Rocks boat tour was spectacular, even on a rainy day. It is about one and a half hours away from the cabin, and Marquette is only about half an hour. To respond to Bradley's unfavorable review of this place, we did not have any problems with cleanliness or water heat or anything like that. Michelle and Tina were both fantastic to work with. There was, in fact, evidence of mice being there, so every night we made sure to clean up any traces of food anywhere and store food in tight containers. As you do when you are in the middle of the woods and mice outnumber people 100 to one! Just be smart about it and it won't be a problem. Believe me, the place is worth it.

    Liz2012-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • What a view from the deck that over looked through private lake that we had to ourselves! I was speachless every morning and night. The cabin was great and very warming with that rustic feel! Plenty of room for 6 people. 8 people would have been a bit tight. Lots of wild life on the property from turkeys, deer, grouse, ducks and beaver on the lake to the coyotes we heard at night! 2 showers and a big kitchen along with washer and dryer was very useful. Just a beautiful place! The only thing I would change if I were the owner is the pet fee. $125 for 5 days is a bit steep. All an all great place. I highly recommend!

    Larry2015-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • INCREDIBLE!!!! This house is absolutely stunning, quiet, clean, and comfortable. When we first booked Michelle's place we thought we would hardly be there and instead spend our days hiking at nearby parks, but found that we couldn't leave. The house has everything you need... a full kitchen for cooking, a TV to watch movies, a great big front porch to read on and grill, and a private lake stocked with pike (we went fishing!). Not only is this house the perfect get-a-way if you are looking for peace and quiet, but Michelle (property owner) and Tina (property manager) are both incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and sweet. I have so far recommended this place to many many families and couples for their next vacation, and strongly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula!

    Marta2012-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying here. I mean, you have 80 acres of land to roam, an 18 acre private lake, walking trails galore, a treehouse, paddle boats (well we didn't do this since it was winter & the lake was frozen, but still it's an option). It slept 8 of us very comfortable. The views from inside the house were spectacular. Our kids loved the rec room in the basement. The whole house had such a warm, homey feel to it. We would love to come back in summertime and take advantage of the lake. Lastly, the homeowners as well as their property manager were incredibly responsive and kind.

    Caroline2012-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely time in the cabin just before Christmas. Tina and Michelle were excellent hosts, opening up the place for us and putting the heating on. It was beautiful in the winter's snow. The lake was completely covered in snow and the surrounding forest was a genuine Winter Wonderland. We recommend the bar in the local township of Republic, and buying pasties from Muldoon's in Munising. Perfect place for a couple of days away

    Jim2012-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Our trip started off with a miscommunication between the property manager and Michelle. The property manager was not aware that we were going to be arriving at the cabin and we couldn't get a hold of her to get the keys. I was impressed and grateful for how quickly Michelle reacted and within a short period of time, we were able to access the cabin. The cabin was still a little dirty from the previous couple who had stayed there but it wasn't too bad. We really loved playing air hockey in the basement and loved the view. The cabin was cozy and a great place to go to after our long days outside. We would certainly love to come back some day in the summer and really take advantage of the lake. Overall the cabin is an amazing place and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice, relaxing getaway.

    Amie2013-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place was exceptional! It literally had everything possible to play with in the water, plus we had a camp fire we will be talking about for years. I can tell Michelle truly cares, we loved it as much as she does. My friends and I did have a wonderful time! Thank you so much! This is a place that I recommend very highly! Chris from Fruitport

    Christine 2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle is a good host and her cabin is good, too. It just like home even better. We love it so much. It has everything we need. The lake is very beautiful. We have a great time there. If we go there again we will choose to stay here absolutely.

Kingfisher Cove is a great place to make home base for your visit to Saugatuck/Douglas. It's part of a group of amazing cabins with both pool and non-motorized lake access. The home will allow you to enjoy a unique cedar cabin in the woods, but at the same time you'll have all modern amenities plus a few luxuries to ensure you have a great stay. The space is very open and makes for a comfortable space for up to 10 guests. The location is also perfect - situated between the lake and the pool, and the neighborhood is both near the highway and not far from downtown Saugatuck, but far enough away from both to feel like you are getting away. You won't be disappointed in the location or amenities offered with this property.
  • This place is really wonderful- spotless, comfortable, charming, and stocked with anything you could ever need to have a perfect getaway. A group of us came out to relax and have a friends weekend and all agreed that two nights weren't enough. The pool and lake are so easy to access and the screened in porch was perfect for enjoying at night. Eric is great about communication and seems to have thought of everything. We can't wait to rent again, hopefully for longer next time!

  • This was an incredible cabin. Top notch and top finishes. There are pots, pans, serving dishes, wine glasses, coffee cups for 8-14 ppl... everything you need for a truly incredible brunch and dining experience. The bedding was amazing, there were more towels than you could ever need and the place was spotless. There was a welcome basket with goodies and tons of soaps and everything you need. The porch has heaters for the wintertime (for the cooler off-season evenings). Eric was exceptionally accommodating for our check-in and check-out times. There are lots of cabins in this development but Eric is #1!

Brand new this year we have installed a state of the art 7 person Ozone treated hot tub!! Semi private, it will be shared with the other house I have on property. For skiers, we are located only 3 miles to the skier parking lot at Boyne Mountain! I can give you lots of great inside info on where to meet, park, and eat there. We are 30 minutes to Gaylord, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Charlevoix. An hour from Traverse City or Mackinaw Bridge. Property is nestled at the base of one of the tallest steepest mountains in the area called 'Old Maids Nipple'. The view up the mountains through the exotic swaying fern grove is breathtaking from back of the house. Gardens everywhere and solar lights abound at night to create a fairy tale space day and night. There's a grill area right out the door complete with new 10x12 screen house and lawn furniture. I am on the main highway between Boyne City and Boyne Mountain It is ultra convenient as it is the first road plowed when it snows, is right across the street from a grocery & bowling lanes, and easy access to all of Northern Michigan. It can also be a bit noisy if windows are open and no fans or ac running.
  • We had a very late rental request and Sally was very accommodating. Cabin nicely stocked with essentials (towels, kitchen supplies etc). The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after our long 2 days of wedding planning in the Boyne and Traverse City areas. Thank you! We will be back for just R&R. The area is beautiful.

  • Sally was very accommodating and flexible in regards to check-in and check-out times. She also gave us great recommendations for things to do since we had never been. The house was comfortable, clean and included all of the amenities needed for a great weekend getaway.

  • Sally was an amazing host, available to walk us through upon arrival and was consistently available if we had any needs. We absolutely loved the backyard and the hot tub and deck, it was perfect for our relaxing weekend and nearby all the events and places in Boyne we had for the weekend! Minutes from downtown, the golf course and the mountain, it was perfectly centralized for our needs. We will be sure to be back and next time we will be sure to make time to utilize her Zen Den next door!

  • Sally was a great host! She even offered up many suggestions for our family to check out. The place itself was clean, had all the essentials + more. The location was a short drive to the downtown area. You can't beat a night cap in the jacuzzi! Great value overall... We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • Sally is a great hostess and her place is darling! She provided robes and stocking hats for the hot tub. She made herself available to us but never intrusive. It was a perfect get away for my husband and I...we don’t ski...we just wanted a cozy place to relax and enjoy each other’s company. It was perfect!

    Dana2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sally was a great hostess. Check in was flexible and she took time to ensure I had everything I needed to make my stay perfect. I even got to come home one night to a nice fire outside to enjoy the great weather and ambiance of the outside area Sally has got set up.

Irene and Lou are incredibly friendly, generous hosts! They always make us feel very welcome, and this time they even sent us home with fresh raspberries and chestnuts from their farm. I'd absolutely recommend staying with them!

We had a wonderful stay at Tamar's Downtown Traverse City Suite. The small apartment is connected to a beautiful main house with a separate entrance, situated in a charming neighborhood. We loved sitting out on the front porch in the evenings. The suite is the perfect size for two people for a long weekend. The space was clean, quiet and comfortable. It had everything that we needed (linens, TV, dishes, fridge). The location is ideal, just a block away from downtown and walking distance to the river and lake. Tammy was a great host; always responsive and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She even left us some drinks and snacks as well as bikes and kayaks to use during our stay. We had the best time and will definitely be back!
