  • If you’re a single or a couple looking for a fantastic, convenient, clean and comfortable place to stay, look no further! This place exceeded my expectations at a ridiculously cheap price. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was amazing and the little touches such as good toilet paper and free tea/coffee really made the place something special. The check in instructions are clear and easy to understand which is great considering I arrived in the very late hours of the night. I only stayed for one night but I would have no problem staying for an extended period of time. This place has everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend to absolutely anybody!

  • 전반적으로 다 괜찮았어요 꽤 깨끗한 편이구요 에어비엔비에 있는 주소랑 조금 달라서 찾는데 시간이 걸렸지만 호스트인 wendy가 직접와서 픽업까지 해줬어요 근데 체크인 시간 지났는데 아직 청소가 안되어 있다고 해서 밖에서 삼십분 기다렸네요 위치는 버스 정류장 걸어서 5-10분? 마트도 IGA라는 곳은 가까이 있는데 비싸구요 숙소에서 밥해먹으려고 했는데 가스레인지나 인덕션이 없어서 당황했어요 그래도 전자레인지겸 오븐이 있어요 또 계단을 한층 캐리어 들고 올라가야해서 힘들었지만 그래서 찬바람은 덜 들어온 거 같아요 문도 이중으로 잠글 수 있어 안심됐구요 주변 동네는 매우 조용한 주택가 같은데 버스타고 20분도 안되는거리에 퍼스 주요 장소들 갈 수 있어요

  • 夜中にタクシーで到着した時は、辺りが暗くちょっと怖いと思いましたが、日中歩いてみると、すぐ近くにスワン川があり、素敵なカフェやレストラン、公園があってとても素敵な場所でした パース駅まで無料バス(イエローキャット)のバス停や有料のバス停、電車の駅も目の前にあり、最高の立地でした 2泊でしたが、もっと長く滞在したかったです

You'll be located close to Swan River where you can enjoy peaceful walks/runs/bike rides along the foreshore With a 6 min drive (or 10 min bike ride) to Maylands cafe hub and if your a golfer, then your only a 3 min drive away from the Maylands Peninsula Golf Course (or a 16 min walk along the river) I'd like to add that people of all backgrounds are welcome to stay :)
    Situated on the 5th floor, this apartment has an open plan living area featuring a fully equipped kitchen with gas cook top, microwave, rice cooker, kettle, toaster, cutlery and coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods. The apartment also has a washing machine for your convenience. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed with all linens and towels provided for Please note: the apartment has not been 'baby proofed' (e.g. There are blind chords and no power point covers etc) but if this is not an issue for you then infants are more than welcome to stay :)

  • Great stay at Nikeeta apartment. I loved surrounding nearby Nikeeta apartment, very quite and peaceful.. loved the view at nearby jetty (perth view).. The other tenant also friendly and that make me more comfortable staying here.. plus, i don't have to worry about my car because parked in gated area.. Really loved space inside the apartment, completely equipped and easier for me to cook as all the utensil is there.. Thank a lot nikeeta for this wonderful stay... highly recommend to others.

  • I had a single night stay at Nikeeta's apartment in Maylands, and it was perfect :) The location is secluded in a nice family-friendly neighbourhood, but is close enough to the city and airport. The apartment was clean, cosy and very welcoming with all the amenities you'd need for a short stay. Not to mention, Nikeeta was such a friendly and lovely person to communicate with and made sure that everything ran smoothly! And given my strict schedule, I was even lucky enough to have very flexible check in and out times. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay around the Perth CBD for a very affordable price. Thanks Nikeeta for letting me stay here :)

    We (arch/designers) lovingly designed and built this great space, with its exposed beams and bricks and recycled features, to capture the panoramic Perth city views. An amazing location, walk to Beaufort St and Nth Perth Angove Strips. City v close.
    This is an amazing and spacious warehouse loft style apartment (of around 120sqm including indoor outdoor balcony) with high ceilings that peak at around 4m and contain 7 amazing velux skylight windows throughout flooding the loft in natural light. There is a separate bedroom and bathroom private from the open living space. One single day bed sits at one end of the open area for reading and maybe a child. Finishes are rustic and industrial with personality. Located between leafy North Perth and vibrant Mount Lawley and a bus ride, stroll or short Uber to the CBD. The apartment (as part of a 2 apartment development) has been recently built but uses many recycled elements throughout to give a sense of the classic warehouse.
    Close to Perth CBD (around 3.5km) Great tree lined neighbourhood with close proximity to the Perth CBD, bus access and also walking distance to cafes/bars etc.

  • Beautiful industrial-eclectic designed loft space. The location is about a 35 minute walk from Perth city center, but it was nice to be a bit removed from the hustle and bustle. There is also a great main drag of restaurants/bars about a 20 minute leisurely walk from the home, including a stroll through a beautiful park. Only con: there was wifi but it only worked in one corner of the home.

    Fresh one bedroom comfy sunshine filled inner city apartment. Great base to stroll around the city during the day or for a night on the town. the apartment had keyless entry and self check in
    The building is of an older style ( it used to be the nurses quarters for the hospital. As there is no smoking in the building people go out the main entrance to smoke. 50m2 one bedroom apartment is new. Fully renovated throughout including new furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped along with coffee machine and includes a washer/ dryer. The bedroom has a queen bed a single day bed and a single trundle bed, tv, with plenty of hanging space for clothes. The lounge has a queen sofa bed, tv, table and chairs, The bathroom has shower, toilet and twin marble vanities. The apartment is secure with keyless entry. but has a back up set of keys in a lockbox - codes given prior to arrival For infants and toddlers there is no bathtub, I have a plastic baby bath, travel cot and a highchair. Please note - ONLY THE QUEEN BED IS MADE UP all linen is in the cupboard to make the other beds, it is your choice which beds you would like to use as you might like to keep the lounge room as the lounge room
    East Perth and the apartment block are mulitcultural with an array of restaurants and bars all in walking distance. There is a service station just around the corner for milk, snacks, fuel etc. The Perth Mint is across the road, The WACA is just down the road. Also close to Royal Perth hospital A short walk will get you to Murry and Hay street malls for shopping, Northbridge and the Cultural centre for dining and entertainment Or head down to the waterfront for a coffee or pint at the Royal or Toast. The free cat busses will get you to Kings Park and all place inner Perth A block over on Hays streets you will find the Grosvenor hotel (does a good chicken parmigiana). Jaws has the sushi train. Also there is a small supermarket

  • Great location indeed. I stayed here for 3 nights. Walking distance to city centre & 5 minutes walk to Red&Yellow CAT bus stops. Free parking 6pm to 8am. What i love most about the apartment is it has everything i need during my stay & more inc. cooking utensils, rice cooker,iron, coffee, milk & sugar, salt&pepper, extra blanket & towels. Good size & cozy apartment for a family of 5 at a great price. 5 minutes walk to Bayswater & Aries Car Rental where u can park rented car for free all the time. Host really helpful & friendly.   • Mel's place is exactly what you see in the pictures. It is clean and all the necessities are available - washing machine, cutlery and utensils. It is perfect for solo or family travellers. The red CAT bus is within walking distance so getting to the CBD area is a breeze. Woolworths is a 10-15 min walk (Murray Street Mall) from the apartment in case you need to get groceries and you can take the CAT bus back from there. If you're driving, parking may be a bit expensive as it's within the CBD area. Check-in was a breeze and Mel is prompt with her responses before and while I was in Perth so it was really helpful for a solo traveller like myself. The corridor may seem rather gloomy but that shouldn't deter you at all because the apartment is great! Overall, it was a pleasant stay in at Mel's apartment. Recommended!

  • Very nicely furnished apartment - bright, cosy and clean. Towels were provided and drinks such as coffee, tea, lemonade. A fully functional kitchen too if you would like to cook your meals. Access to Netflix was awesome for the nights in. Even though there isn't air conditioning, the apartment was still pretty cool during the day. Location - 10 to 15 mins drive to Perth CBD, 20 mins to the airport and less than 10 mins walk to the nearest Coles. The neighbourhood was a little dark and quiet at night for us. But then we are from Singapore so it could be just us.

The house is a great place to call home during your trip to Perth, it is super quiet, comfortable and well equipped, including a private undercover carport for your car right at the front door. Dianella is a lovely central Perth suburb, approximately 7 km to the CBD, and a great location from which to explore all Perth has to offer.
    My aim is to provide an affordable and comfortable 'home away home' for couples, small groups or families. The space includes; • Undercover private parking bay at the front door for your car • Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed, ceiling fan, triple built in wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps. • Second Bedroom with a Queen size bed, reverse cycle air conditioner/heater, ceiling fan, double built in wardrobe, bed side table and lamp, and a wall mounted TV • Open plan Living Room with dining and lounge areas. Large flat screen TV with DVD player and Netflix, and reverse cycle air conditioner/heater • Queen size air bed in the living room for the 5th and 6th guests if needed • Kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, including a gas stove top, electric oven, fridge/freezer, pots, pans, rice cooker ect. This is a self catering house, so breakfast is not provided. • Luxury bathroom, with large walk in shower and double vanity.     Dianella is a safe and quiet residential suburb, just 7 km from the CBD with good local amenities. It is a great location for families, with lots of local parks with play equipment, including a small one right across the road! A short drive or walk away (900 metres) is Centro Dianella Shopping Centre, with supermarkets, specialty stores and plenty of take away options. The Morley Galleria Mall and the popular Coventry Village Markets are both just 2km away (4 minute drive), great for shopping, supermarkets (including one open 24 hours), movies (Events Cinema), and lots of restaurants to choose from including, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Greek ect. There is a 24 hour Spudshed supermarket at the Coventry Markets, and 24 hour take away burgers (Hungry Jacks) on route. Alternatively, 4km away on Beaufort Street there is a 24 hour IGA supermarket. There are many fabulous restaurants, bars and pubs on this street also. The Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre is 2.5 km away, and has indoor and outdoor pools plus a gym. Or for those who like to run/walk Yokine Reserve is a Perth favourite and also just 2.5km away. There are local Halal options including Vrbas Halal Butchers at the Coventry Village Markets, and Charcoal Chicken Cafe at Dianella Shopping Centre.

    The hideaway is nestled on the edge of the city, in the backyard of our beloved family home. It is a newly renovated granny flat which accommodates two people very comfortably. Come here to rest, to work or to use as a home base whilst catching up with old friends!
    The Hideaway is exactly that... a hideaway! The city is only ten minutes drive, and the airport is mere minutes away. However on arrival you will, no doubt notice the peace and quiet of this area. The planes take off in a different direction so you will rarely hear them! When you arrive at our place, you have your own space to retreat and relax. The Hideaway is entirely separate to our home, with its own separate entry and private facilities. You will have a small kitchenette (including a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster) and dining facilities. There are always some cereals on hand for breakfast. Private ensure bathroom. Towels are provided! There is a wardrobe with hangers and floor to ceiling mirrors. The bed is so comfortable (read the reviews-everyone loves it) and at queen size should be plenty of room for our guests to have an uninterrupted blissful sleep!

  • Zoe's accommodation was perfectly adapted for a few nights, because located half way between the city of Perth and Fremantle, and very close to buses' interesting routes. There are also a few coffee shops. The room / studio is well furnished, very clean and pleasant. However, it is noisy, as there are only similar rooms in the whole building, we can hear next door. Bring your earplugs! But anyway, I would deeply recommend the place, regarding its good price. Just a piece of advice: be careful, there is no wifi, no Internet! Concerning the airport connection: save money, don't do like me! Zoe advised me to take a taxi, which I did but I spent $ 60 to reach the place, whereas taking the bus only costs $ 4,80!! Instead just reach the city at "Elizabeth Quay" with either bus 380 or 40. Then take the 950 bus to Hampden / Stirling Hwy. Keep the bus ticket it's available for a couple of hours!

    My house, my home, your haven :) A huge room and sofa to yourself (plus the only TV in the house) with private entrance, plenty of clothing storage and a work desk with fast wifi. The style is cosy, eclectic and just a little bit quirky! An excellent mattress, fresh bamboo sheets and french linen await your arrival where you can sleep peacefully down the opposite end of the house from me. Tea and coffee facilities, air con and yoga mats are in the room plus a rotating collection of greenery.
    A quirky 3 bedroom home filled with oddities and art. It's set back from the road so is super quiet and you're welcome to use the carport. There's a huge backyard for socialising and a BBQ you are welcome to use :) Having used Airbnb around the world to travel myself it's imperative to me that guests feel right at home, so please feel free to use the kitchen, put on a record, play the piano (please do)/guitar, have a bath etc! Probably not all at the same time ;) I just ask that if anything runs out you let me know so I can replenish it. Breakfast is available if needed (toast and spreads, muesli/porridge milk, and free range eggs). If you happen to stay over a Monday night please expect an invite to Crew Dinner, where a bunch of mates pop round to share food and stories on my back porch, or you're equally welcome to hide in your space which is separated by 2 doors from the living areas.
    A 10 minute walk from the train station (12 minutes to the CBD or Guildford historical precinct), 10 minute drive from the airport ($12-$16 Uber), 15 minute walk to *excellent* coffee and breakfast options and 10 minute jog to the beautiful river walks. Nestled between Guildford Rd and Tonkin Hwy you've easy car access to Fremantle and the South too.

  • We chose Jessica's place due to very close proximity to the airport (in case anyone wonders there was no plane noise!). We stayed 4 nights and found the experience great. Jessica is a great host, with lovely spacious accommodation, and a very relaxed 'my house is your house' approach. We were very comfortable. Off road car parking was convenient. Easy drive to Guildford and Swan River wineries. Good road network to get you into Perth or down to coast (within 30-40 minutes). Strongly recommend.

    One bedroom luxury apartment 3 mins from train station and free cat bus to city. Well appointed kitchen. 5 min walk to the beautiful swan river and many restaurants and riverside bar. Free street parking available and easy access to all freeways. Two bathrooms one Queen bed and sofa bed.
    5 minutes to free city transport, restaurants, river Free cat bus and train to city. This property is not toddler friendly children above six or seven would be fine as long as they are fine to sleep on a different level from their parents.
    This is a lovely quiet neighbourhood that has a five minute access for walks along the river or a twenty minute stroll to the city. The train is five minutes from the apartment and with the smart rider which is made available for two guests gives you free train ride into the city. There is also a free cat bus around the corner which will also get you to the city. When you stay in the apartment you also have access to all the freeways a few minutes away.
  • Vicki's appartment looked exactly as depicted..wonderfully laid out and almost new. It was very well equipped and had everything that a family home would have. She was very kind to leave us 2 train tokens which unfortunately we had no time to use. The free Cat bus was literally round the corner and made our stay in Perth that much more enjoyable. As a host Vicki kept in contact and was attentive to anything that we might have needed. Would certainly recommend this place to our friends.

  • I loved staying in Vicki's apartment. With the climate control, it was warm and cozy -- perfect for July weather -- and it was stocked really well, with everything I needed. I could have even baked a cake if I had wanted to! The apartment was very comfortable and the perfect place to come back to at the end of the day, to relax. The bed was so comfortable and warm, even during chilly nights. I loved the neighbourhood; it was a short walk to the Swan River, restaurants and to the local IGA. Although I had my own transport, the train and bus were also very near. Parking on the street (which was free, thanks to a parking pass provided by Vicki) was an easy process and I never had any issue with finding a park right near to (or in front of) the apartment. Vicki was also very thoughtful, responding to my questions quickly and checking up on me mid-visit (via text) to make sure that everything was going well. I highly recommend the apartment! Thanks Vicki, for a lovely stay!

Enjoy Perth's best chicken rice at Tak Chee House, watch (and devour) gorgeous Japanese food artistry at Aisuru, and pay a visit to the museum, art gallery and theatres. All the while surrounded by quirky fashion stores, trendy wine bars and pumping night clubs. One of Perth's best inner-city parks is just over the road. Enjoy a jog (or stroll) around the lakes, soak up some sun, spot the local bird life, cook a feast on the free BBQs or relax under a shady tree.   • Cary's home was in an ideal location being right next to Hyde Park, 15minutes walk to the train station and a bus station right on the Main Street. Having famous and must try cafes in such walking distance to Cary's place was an excellent plus point. Cary's communication is prompt and clear. It was a self check in for my stay as Cary was away. On first impression during self check in, I was a little worried as there are a lot of items cluttering the entrance and checked again that I was indeed at the right place. But Cary's self check in guide was on point to gain entrance. Inside, there are a lot of his personal work items in the laundry area and clothes/towels/work materials on the floor. Understandable as it is HIS home and it's his space to keep his items/projects/materials and for guests to just rest and head out for their day. As a guest, it is a pleasant night stay in the room with a comfortable queen sized bed. He provides brochures of things to do and your pamphlets. Lots of cafes and places to explore from his place. It is in an excellent location to head out in the morning and visit places to return home to shower and get some rest. Suitable for solo travellers and non fussy travel couple.

Self check in is easy and convenient, but you need to be careful with the address, when you find 199 on Lincoln street, it’s Unit 3, and Cary’s place is Unit 6, which is at the back lane. Cary is easy to communicate, and responds quickly.

Liked that the extension cord had a multi-region power adapter in there already, so I could plug my computer right in. Check-in / check-out process is convenient. Internet was not that fast as I hoped for, but better than having none (referring to my time in outback). If you are looking for a nice place to sleep while spending most of your daytime in the city anyway, then it is definitely a good place to consider.

  • The condition of both the entry doors is very poor. There are large gaps between the doors and the doorframes (so heating was inefficient and bugs or rodents could easily get into the apartment). The lock on the door to the balcony needs replacing and the door handle is literally falling off. The curtain in the kitchen is see-through and allows full visibility from outside the apartment into living area when the lights are on at night. The host was quite dismissive when I raised these concerns. She did refund the cleaning fee($25) after I found a bowl of old food in the microwave and the kitchen covered in ants when I arrived. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again though.

A continental breakfast is included with your reservation. Other meals or snacks can be arranged for an additional fee. The apartment is cleaned thoroughly between guests - including washing and cleaning of all bedding and bedroom furniture as well as the bathroom. The apartment is entirely separate to our house, so if an uninterrupted retreat is your priority, then this space is perfect for you. However we will always extend a welcome wherever possible. We love how quiet our neighbourhood is. Getting to and from our house is very easy because there are many public transport options available, which are all located close to our home. I am a yoga teacher and I teach classes in my home, I will always let you know when the classes are on. But I want to reassure you that I do not operate early morning classes and if you feel the class may impede on your stay I can arrange for the class to be held elsewhere or I will run a very quiet class.
    We love how quiet our neighbourhood is.

  • This is my second time at Sandy and Joe's, and both times have been wonderful. Their house is conveniently close to the airport, which is perfect when arriving late (or leaving early). The room and bathroom are completely private and beautifully appointed (and I loved the soft jazz that was playing on our arrival, it was a nice touch). We also enjoyed the beautiful garden/outdoor area where you can relax, surrounded by fairy lights. We'll be back :)

  • Lovely tidy garden apartment. The "secret garden" was beautiful at night. The apartment is clean, modern and stylish. The chairs are very comfortable. The key was in a key holder which made arrival from a late night easy. Couple of small niggles: The directions of how to get in was a bit too wordy. The continental breakfast was quite basic (just plain cereal). Overall we would definitely stay again, being so clean and tidy and do close to the airport, it's a brilliant place to stay overnight.

    The space is newly renovated. It is a private suite consisting of a bedroom, a bathroom, a breakfast kitchenette and an outdoor lounge sitting area on front veranda. This suite has an independent entrance. The bedroom has 1 queen bed, and if there is a 3rd person or child, there is a single sofa bed you can unfold. The room has ample wardrobe space, a desk and TV. The room is light and the french glass doors open onto veranda that overlooks the front garden.
    Mount Hawthorn is a lovely, friendly, safe neighbourhood, with many parks, cafés, restaurants, shopping centre, bookshop within walking distance. Lake Monger is a favourite walking spot with many native birds including our black swans. Our neighbouring suburb, Leederville, is lively and has a cinema as well as many restaurants, cafés, bookshops, fashion boutiques and is also within walking distance or a 4 minute bus ride.

    Our place is close to art and culture, great views,, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities , the city. You’ll love this place because of the location as you can walk down through china town all the way to the city and through the museum and art gallery, also there is the free bus close by if you would rarther. The new Elisabeth quay is also close In the opposite direction you have beaufort street cafes and boutique shops as well as Inglewood night markets and NIB stadium.
    The apartment is cosy clean and new. Situated on Beaufort street one of the most vibrant streets around Perth with shops, cafes and nightlife in both directions and NIB stadium 300 metres away for soccer and sports fans which also hosts some great musical acts. One of our favourite spots is the Ellington Jazz Club, and being only 200 metres away makes for a great night. Crown Metropol and Casino is also a short drive away.

  • First of all, the apartment itself is an excellent unit. Clean, equipped, cozy and beautiful. It has lift so our luggages and stroller are easy to take care of.. Just like the picture, even better. Location is amazing, just a stroll away from the bust station, and the city. Close to restaurants and supermarket. Its easy to locate, we use a taxi to go there from the airport. Karl himself is an amazing host. He explained the city to us, how to get to where, and also very easy to communicate. We set the fire alarm off on our last day because of the microwave was too hot but Karl handlrd with patient and didnt get furious. Sorry for the incident Karl, and thank you for being such a great person.

  • Stayed for one night as I had a checkup at Royal Perth Hospital the following day. Location was ideal and only a few minutes away from train station, RPH and takeaway/restaurants on the main road. A generous check in/out time meant there was no rush to leave and lug your luggage around before departing Perth. Room was large with high ceiling and mats to cover a beautiful wooden floor, clean and tidy. Bed and pillows were very comfortable especially for my bigger size. Christel provided the following: a portable wardrobe with plenty of hangers. Desk, chair and lamp. Wire shelves and shoe rack. Hair dryer. Small heater. Bedside drawer and lamp. Multiplug for your electrical charging needs. Magazine and pamphlets of the area. Password for fast wifi. Bathroom was clean and shower large. Christel supplied a towel and free shampoo. Christel has obviously taken the time to meet and exceed guests expectations. She has clearly labeled and set aside items specifically for guests use. The house is a renovated older home which Christel has maintained in an excellent condition. I have no hesitation in re-booking this room in the future.

  • This is our first time in Perth and we're glad we chose to stay at this place for 6 days. Brian was very helpful with our questions months before our arrival. The room is very comfortable. It's winter time in Perth - we loved the heated bed so much. We do not drive so the location with free CAT bus and train just across the street is perfect for us. Most importantly, Brian made us feel like we are visiting and staying with our friends. He was so kind and woke up at 6am this morning to drop us off at the airport. My room was SPOTLESS! Like nothing out of place and lots of nice little touches to the room like a little mini bar, shampoos and conditioners, coffee machine and optional electric blanket for cold seasons etc. The guys couldn't have been nicer. 2 of the nicest guys ever. Went out of their way for me on so many occasions. I forgot to bring shaving foam and they leant me theirs which was so kind of them. Gave me a travel card so I could use the trains. Just such a good service. Positives - ~ Great location. 2 min walk from the train station. ~ Gave me a travel card making travel so easy ~ 2 very friendly hosts which made me feel at home. ~ The cutest little dogs you have ever seen. ~ Beautiful bathroom with bath and a shower. ~ Super comfy bed. ~ Dropped back off to the airport because I had booked for more than 6 nights. ~ Very accommodating with my late check out as my flight wasn't until late. The room, ensuite and balcony area are excellent, clean, bright and welcoming. There is a small table and chairs plus 2 very comfy armchairs to relax and watch some television or choose a movie to enjoy. The ensuite is complete with a shower, vanity and WC. Perfect location!     Salter Point is a unique and exclusivel suburb with well maintained high quality homes. There are a variety of eateries including Japanese, Nepalese, Asian and many more within walking distance or just a short drive. coffee, snacks and pizzas! If you enjoy a longer walk, head down to the Canning River where paths will take you along the edge of the beautiful river for miles!

Kerry-Jane is a fantastic host, she was accessible but only there when we needed her, the room itself is separate from the rest of the house so you have a lot of privacy. The room was exactly as depicted; charming, clean, homely and extremely well presented. There were so many wonderful touches which made it extra special - she had thought of everything! There was a mini-fridge and tin full of milk, biccies and other necessities. There was tea/coffee, the bathroom had shampoo, body wash etc. The guide to the the room and the area was extremely useful.     Suite 2 is close to public transport, 15 mins bus ride to the centre of Perth, 20 mins to beach. Walking distance to cafés, restaurants, shopping centre, cinema, and lake. It is a suite with independent entrance, bedroom with high ceilings, own breakfast kitchenette, own bathroom, & own lounge setting on a shared front verandah. Please note that there is NO SMOKING in the suite, verandah or in the garden and those requesting to book must comply with this. Also check Suite No1 by same host.
    The space is newly renovated. It is a private suite, about the size of a hotel room, consisting of a bedroom, a bathroom, a breakfast kitchenette and an outdoor lounge sitting area on front veranda. This suite has an independent entrance. The bedroom has 1 queen bed, and if there is a 3rd person or child, there is a single sofa bed you can unfold. The room has ample wardrobe space, a desk and TV. The room is light and the french glass doors open onto veranda that overlooks the front garden.
    Neighbourhood overview Mount Hawthorn is a lovely, friendly, safe neighbourhood, with many parks, cafés, restaurants, shopping centre, bookshop within walking distance. Lake Monger is a favourite walking spot with many native birds including our black swans. Our neighbouring suburb, Leederville, is lively and has a cinema as well as many restaurants, cafés, bookshops, fashion boutiques and is also within walking distance or a 4 minute bus ride.

Every possible ammenity was there (washer/dryer, hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, AND conditioner (not that all in one crap - a nice separate conditioner), dishes, pots, pans, fridge, etc. The bed was super comfy with lots of pillows and a warm and cozy quilt. The location was absolutely amazing - it was walking distance to everything and the train was an 8 minute walk for things that were further away. Calum left a book for how to use everything at the house and a guide book for his city, including maps, tours, restaurants, and brochures galore! The welcome sign with my name on it and some delicious high end chocolates were a beautiful touch as well! Calum was fantastic about communicating quickly and was very understanding and gracious about me forgetting to leave the key on the counter at the end of my trip and worked with me to figure out how to get it back to him. I will DEFINITELY stay here again if I’m ever back in Perth.

    Surrounded by character houses, train 2 mins walk, 3 stops to East Perth then 2 more stops to City Centre. Historic Guildford is along the line in the opposite direction to Perth City. The historic Guildford Hotel has just reopened after being gutted by fire several years ago Walking distance to cafes, as well as Pork's American BBQ across the road, Civic Hotel, Coles, laundromat, takeaways & 24 hr convenience store. Also ten minute walk ( or next train stop down) to Maylands, ( voted coolest suburb in Perth by Lonely Planet) 5 minute drive to Galleria shopping centre. Unfortunately Perth doesn't have a rail link from the airport yet, a taxi will cost you approx $30 from international and $20 from domestic terminals. Uber is approx $12-$16 from the domestic terminal depending on time of day. We also have UberEATS available in the area.

  • Very lovely lady and amazing continental breakfast she kits you out with!! We feasted for hours. Totally separate accommodation though so be aware if you feel you need more contact from host, which we did. Perfect for independent travellers.

  • Lee Ann was an extremely helpful host. She went to the extend of driving us to Coles upon our arrival to get some toiletries......she event waited for us at the parking area for about 15 mins. She was also kind enough to supply us with loads of breakfast stock.....oranges, strawberries, kiwis, white bread, raisin bread, milk, orange juice, yoghurt etc. On our last day she even asked us if we could get a taxi/uber to fetch us to the airport. She's such a lovely host :)

  • Lee-Ann made me feel very welcome. Good conversations and local knowledge. Although laundry was not listed on the description she still let me do washing which was a bonus. The space is cosy and warm, all the things you need as well as privacy. Close to airport and city, would def stay again.

  • Unfortunately we had no chance to explore the surroundings due to the late check-in, but it was easy to check-in during the night and the location is just about 15 minutes from the Perth airport. The breakfast was much appreciated since we had to leave early next day.

    The view from your room will make you appreciate our beautiful city knowing that it is only 5-10 mins away to get amongst it. The room comfortably accommodates 2 people with your own bathroom. We enjoy meeting people but the house is big enough that our guests can be left to their own devices We love the very central location of South Perth. Close to the city, parklands, cafes and restaurants. A stroll on the beautiful South Perth foreshore is a must or even a bike ride around the bridges. One street away in either direction is bus routes that will take you to the city or as far as Fremantle We have a cat (lives outside) and a dog (hypoallergenic) both quite shy
    We love the very central location of South Perth. Close to the City, river and parklands, Burswood and Universities, Cafes and Restaurants. A stroll along the beautiful South Perth foreshore is a must or even a bike ride around the swan river.

  • Penelope home have the nicest home we had throughout our Perth road trip. Everything is clean and beautiful. And you will get to see 2 very friendly cats and a dog greeting you. Host takes extra effort to connect to you as a friend, rather than a guest. This makes us feel more comfortable and host even take the extra miles to prepare breakfast for us! But a pity we had to rush to the airport due to some issue but nevertheless, we will stay here again during our next visit to Perth!

  • Some of the nicest people I've met on my trip to Australia. Since we were only going to be in Perth for half a day, Penelope offered to drive us around the city and we got to see more of Perth than we expected. Kindness from both her and her husband were endless. The house was very beautiful and clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and great for taking walks. There were also some very nice parks nearby. We will certainly visit this place again if we are ever in Perth, and hope to spend more time in this beautiful city.
