Just booked in Gallatin Gateway

Centrally located between The Big Sky Ski Resort and Bridger Bowl. 15 minuets to Bozeman. Stacy's, is Legendary, Best Burger, & Steak and only a block away. The house is cozy, inviting, comfortable.
I am an enthusiast when it comes to collecting, so my house is very eclectic, warm inviting and interesting. Feel free to browse the books or play the games, scrabble, cribbage are just a few. Wi Fi is available, large screen TV, Netflix....The house is in Gallatin Gateway, private, quiet, lovely! There is a Tipi on the property, so if one is adventurous , you could sleep in a comfortable bed in the Tipi. The bedrooms have comfortable beds with down comforters. The house is really cozy and fun, there is 1250 square feet upstairs, The second upstairs bedroom has french doors that leads to the Hot Tub. The kitchen has absolutely anything and everything a person would want. And feel free to use the spices or anything else.
Gallatin Gateway is a true Montana community, small and quiet. Yet only 15 minutes outside of Bozeman. Our little town is the Gateway to Yellowstone, and The Big Sky Ski Resort...only 45 minutes, and Bridger Bowl going north is only 45 minutes. Ski Both. Gateway is a quaint little town, great neighbors, fun restaurants and bars. Stacy's Old Faithful inn is our famous iconic western bar and Steak house. Best burger ever and only a block away. 20- 30 minute drive from the airport.
  • Directions and checking in: Getting the the house was very easy and parking was a breeze. Gwen has a very simple check in/check out process, so there was no time wasted. Location: Near to Bigsky, Bozeman and Yellowstone. Good proximity to anything one would like to see. Neighborhood: For what we assumed Montana would look like, we were a little disappointed in the surroundings. Though the area seemed safe, the area was a bit rundown as the neighbors didn't care for their home exterior in the same fashion as Gwen. Quite a few trailers with a junkyard feel. Style: The house was very uniquely and eclectically decorated. Gwen clearly has some one a kind artifacts to fill the house with. Space: It was only my wife and I, we would have had more than enough space with two additional guests. Cleanliness: With so many decorations, it must be difficult to clean. The bed had some hair in it, the toilet had some smears and there was a light smell of mold from basement setting off some allergies. Kitchen: The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to make a good meal. Lots of spices to use and a great table to eat on. Entertainment: It was nice that the TV had Netflix for some evening unwinding. Despite the moderately low temperature and dead skin flakes, the hot tub was still a huge plus.

  • Wow, this is a gem of a place. Obviously a lot of love and effort have gone into making it fun and unique. I was traveling on business but it would make a great base for skiing or exploring the Bozeman area. The surroundings are quiet and mostly real but there is a bar and a pizza place a block away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends staying in the area.

  • The house and property are exactly like the pictures. My brother and I enjoyed the heck out of our two nights at Gwen's place. The teepee was cozy and great for champagne and talking. The hot tub was awesome after our two skiing days. The kitchen was perfect for our cooking and Gwen even has surround sound for movie watching. Great place everyone!! I hope to come back again some time.

  • Gwen's place is nothing short of amazing. Apart from its convenient location (close to big sky and Yellowstone), the house is really well kept and has a great character to it. We were a group of four and the space was perfect for us. The hot tub and the grill + the spacious backyard is great place to relax and admire the nature around the place. Gwen is really helpful and responsive. We were all blown away by the antiques she had collected and also by the way she had set up the house. Would definitely love to stay at Gwen's the next time I am around the area.

  • Just returned from a wonderful trip for Thanksgiving! Gwen's home is so cozy and exactly what we were looking for. Location is perfect! Exactly 45 minutes to the base of Big Sky and 20 minutes to downtown Bozeman. We skied for three days and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day. Would definitely return and recommend!

    Michelle2015-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • I can’t say enough how amazing this place is. Quirky and eclectic! It was like being in a museum. We found new stuff at every turn. The beds were comfy. The views amazing. The hot tub was great! What a great getaway. We loved it. Thank you!

  • Everything exactly as listed. Such a fun lovely place.

  • Gwen was great at getting back to me as quick as possible! The house was great, easy to get to Yellowstone or Bozeman and had charm! Nothing like hitting the hot tub after a day of skiing

You’ll love this place because of the light, the comfy bed, the coziness, and just plain being in a TiPi. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). There is also a gazebo which houses a stove, cooking supplies, plates, silver, mugs, and more....french press for making coffee, wash basin, garbage, table and chairs, water. There is an outhouse with a compostable toilet. A pretty great place to hang and easy on the pocket book.
Open comfortable, beautiful under the stars, close to nature. Fun and romantic. The Tipi is good sized at 18'. Has a super comfy double bed, I always get my best nights sleep in the Tipi. Electrified, both Tipi and Kitchen area. Easy close parking. Gazebo has place to cook and eat with all that you need. H20, Stove, Refrigerator, cooler, garbage, table and chairs. Place to do dishes....
A close walk is a wonderful Montana Bar with great food. Best Burger Ever.... and I mean that!
  • The tipi was unique and awesome! The location was about 10 minutes from Bozeman near a ton of great hikes in the Gallatin National Forest. The outdoor kitchen was adorable and the bathroom was creative if not rustic. Make sure to check the weather and bring lots of layers, as there is no electricity or heat available. If you like the to relax in nature - based settings, this is place for you. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Fish, fish, fish Bring your sleeping bags ! It is camping, not glamping. Instead, of a glamorous camping situation, consider being Lewis and Clark but no Indians, and a cowboy steak house a 10 minute walk. A One room cabin, 1 full bed, 1 full inflatable mattress. A lantern included to visit the porta potty, an outside firepit, and buckets to collect your river water, small frig, microwave & drinking water dispenser. Nice wading and fishing holes. Pics of inside of cabin coming soon.
Fish, fish, fish, 3 acres along the Gallatin River A little one room cabin for sleeping. Pack it out— take all trash with you. Outdoor porta potty
Humanity is not far away, but you will enjoy the quiet and beauty of the property except for fishermen wading the river or a raft floating by now and than.

Cute, clean room in a beautiful ranch home on a private section of the Gallatin River. Prime fishing. The property is right on the way to West Yellowstone and is just 30 minutes away from Big Sky. 20 minutes away from the Bozeman Airport. 10 minutes away from Bozeman Hotsprings. Also includes an idyllic pond just steps away from the backdoor.
Relax in this adorable, cozy house that has an incredible pond and river access right behind it. The Gallatin River is known for its prime fly fishing and our spot has a riparian woodland that provides beautiful nature walks any time of year. I also have a small herd of cattle roaming around as well. I've got two cats who are both indoor and outdoor pets. They are both very friendly. The house is about 20 min away from downtown Bozeman.

World class skiing is a 40-minute drive to either Big Sky or Bridger Bowl. Fishing and floating on the Gallatin River (10 minutes) and Madison River (30 minutes). • This place is too great! We loved our stay there and Mary made it very easy for us to get in even though we got in really late. It is secluded on a great piece of land but still very close to Bozeman. Also just a stone's throw from Yellowstone. Mary was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The inside is gorgeous and pictures don't do it justice, would definitely recommend checking it out for yourself!

    Taylor2015-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Everything we dreamed of and more! We had such a wonderful trip and will be back soon. We spent most of our time in Bozeman and Big Sky, it's a great location for both! Mary was very welcoming and helpful with all of our questions. Can't say enough wonderful things about her and her husband. Thank you!!

    Jamie2016-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I chose Mary’s Carriage House for our tenth wedding anniversary getaway. This was our first airbnb experience and I’m not sure how it could get better. Mary’s place has it all: gorgeous rustic exterior, clean, modern interior, well appointed gourmet kitchen with thoughtful touches such as amazing organic coffee, a cozy sitting area by the fireplace, and incredible views from the home and walking trails around the property. The location is perfect. It’s far enough away from town to feel secluded yet close enough to make getting around super easy. Mary is gracious and thoughtful. She provides local knowledge and resources for a great trip, is easy to communicate with, and is obviously there if you need anything but leaves you be otherwise. We can’t wait to return! Thank you, Mary!

  • The perfect romantic getaway in Bozeman, Mary goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect.

    Kari2017-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Mary and Ken are such wonderful people and truly made our vacation feel like home. They really thought about their guests when designing the place as they've outfitted it with very high-end finishes, appliances, and even stocked the kitchen with great spices, condiments and every kitchenware item you would ever need. They made it very easy for us to make ourselves at home. We enjoyed most the ability to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the land, but we were a stones throw from many of Bozeman's beautiful hikes, downtown dining/shopping and breweries. Mary and Ken gave us a very warm welcome and we hope to return soon for another stay on their absolutely beautiful property!

    Michael2016-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mary & her husband were absolutely fantastic. What was important to me was to rest & have some privacy & they absolutely respected my space while being so accommodating. Highly recommend! Beautiful spot

  • This cabin and property are beautiful. The perfect getaway.

    Alex2015-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • PERFECT! This carriage house was the perfect place to call home while visiting Bozeman. Our plan was to use it as a spot to have breakfast and dinner after exploring the area, but once we saw the property & walked in the door we didn't want to leave. The carriage house is exactly as pictured if not better. The quality of construction and kitchen appliances surpassed our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the expansive property. Highly highly recommend a visit.

  • Amazing!!! I cant say enough about how great our stay with Barbara was! There was plenty of space and she provided so many things such as breakfast food, snacks, drinks and even some treats! The location was amazing, surrounded by farms and fields, it was so beautiful! And it was pet friendly. Our dog was even able to play in the yard with her dogs and he had a blast! Barbara was so kind and generous, it was like staying with family. I would recommend Barbara's place to anyone in a heartbeat! Our stay was perfect!!!

  • Barbara & Mike's place was perfect! ... spacious, private, clean, and they went above and beyond with little extra touches. Communication was awesome and check in was a breeze. We loved their animals! We will definitely stay with them again next time we're in the area, and will recommend them to all our friends! Thank you both so very much!

We have three bedrooms available in our lovely and spacious Montana home. The home is located in the country, 15 minutes from Bozeman, and close to hiking, skiing, and other outdoor recreational activities. Family and pet-friendly home.
Our home is in a country setting just southwest of Bozeman. Quiet and beautiful, we sit on 20 acres with a pond and creek. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re in town for outdoor activities, on your way to Yellowstone National Park, or just want to feel like you’re “out in the country.” The room has a queen-size bed, a sink, and a closet, and the private bathroom is a few steps away. The windows face the Bridger Mountains to the north. This is a very quiet, comfortable living space on the second floor of our home. Two more guest rooms, each with queen-size beds, are also available on the home’s third floor. These rooms are listed separately. We’re 25 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, and 10 minutes from MSU. Hyalite Canyon and reservoir, home of hiking, boating, picnicking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing are a beautiful 30-minute drive from our home. Cross-country skiing is possible right outside the back door. Other nearby local attractions include the Museum of the Rockies and Bozeman Hot Springs, and blue-ribbon fly fishing streams are within shouting distance. Bridger Bowl and Big Sky/Moonlight ski areas are about an hour away. Further down the road, Yellowstone National Park’s north and west entrances are 90-mile drives, and Grand Teton National Park lies just south of Yellowstone. Glacier National Park is approximately 6 hours to the north.
This is a quiet and scenic location at the end of a half-mile long private gravel drive. There is very little traffic, and virtually no traffic or city noise. You can enjoy the sounds of nature at night, and with no street lights in the area the night sky is dark, velvety and loaded with stars.
  • The place is not that hard to find with the helps of GPRS, even in the dark. 1.5 hrs drive from Yellowstone west entrance. About 1.5 hrs drive to the north entrance. Kathy is very nice and helpful. The house is beautifully decorated, very quiet and equipped with all the amenities you need. Overall an excellent place to have a good rest and recharge yourself for the next day's adventure.

    Zhengyan2016-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent time with Kathy! We were staying here on our way to Seattle and were only to stay here one night, which I regret. Kathy's house and the surrounding city of Bozeman are spectacular! Also, Kathy was really helpful on giving us information about Yellowstone that resulted in us getting to spend more time there than previously thought. Definitely would recommend this to anyone visiting Yellowstone area or Bozeman.

    Dakota2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy and Lawrence are kind and hospitable. The room was clean and the accommodations were plentiful. Their house has lots of room to move around. If we ever make it back to Bozeman MO I would love to stay at their place again.

  • I had a wonderful Stay!! Kathy and Lawrence were great hosts and their property was wonderful!!

    Lisa2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy and her husband were awesome hosts they made us feel welcome and fed us a farm fresh breakfast the following morning. We would stay with them again if we are traveling thru Bozeman again and recommend their home to anyone else.

    Ronda2016-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place. Wonderful hostess. Great communication. Away from the city and so relaxing. Beautiful setting. It is a steal of a deal. We were made to feel like family.

    Hiromichi2016-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • I'd recommend staying at Kathy's. The highlights for us were the welcoming and helpful hosts (Kathy, her husband, and dog), separate downstairs kitchen and living room, sauna, and close proximity to the Hyalite canyon recreation area.

A lovely private cabin with mountain views and trout fishing right on the property, in the picturesque area of Gallatin Gateway! Our cabin is perfect for couples, families (up to 4 people), outdoor lovers and horses. Conveniently located for hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, hunting and many other indoor or outdoor activities. Great central location for vacationing or working in the area - Big Sky, downtown Bozeman, Montana State University and the airport all within 20-35 mins.
Our cabin has a bedroom with a queen size bed and another 2 single bunkbeds in the common space. We also have one bathroom equipped with everything you will need. The cabin also has a small but gourmet kitchen with everything you could ask for. The perfect retreat!
Guests can go fishing on our world-class 5 ponds located within a 10 minutes walk from the cabin (for a small fee, please check with owner). There are some really nice cafes close to our place that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, we're just a few minutes from Bozeman Hot Springs for those of you who like relaxing. Some of the best hiking trails in the Gallatin and Spanish Peak ranges are close by in Gallatin Canyon. There are also two gyms quite close to our ranch so you can stay fit to power your adventures!
  • We stayed there in the winter to travel to Big Sky for skiing. It is a 10 min drive to Bozeman and a 45 min drive to the Big Sky Mountain Village. The place was spotlessly clean with many fun antique touches, like an old Boy Scott canteen and the antique wooden pantry. The hosts were friendly, informative, and prompt. The bunkbed is a bit old and with a strap, rather than a rail, on the top bunk; the strap was more of a deterrent than a safety device and would only have someone sleeping there who has no chance of rolling out of bed (we wouldn’t let my 6 yr old sleep on the top bunk). As a previous review notes, the water tank is small and we could get two short showers in before it would get cold. There is a good heater in the kitchen and then a floor heater in the bedroom; we kept the door between bedroom and main room open and then heat was even and comfortable throughout the cabin. The setting is very picturesque - our sons enjoyed waking up to see cows out the window. It is also blissfully quiet - no road noise at all. For the $, it is a good deal!

    Rebecca2018-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice little cabin. My favorite part was lying in bed at night and listening to the water running past the house.

  • John has the most wonderful little farm, and the place is perfect for a Montana stay to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of Montana. The nearby creek lulled my husband to sleep at night. I would highly recommend this, and John is a delight to work with.

    Kristen2017-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Creekside cabin far exceeded our expectations. John & Ramona are very personable & make sure you ae comfortable. The creek outside the bedroom window soothe you to sleep at night. The cabin did not have air conditioning, but did not find we missed it, The breeze was wonderful. Would love to doit again. The Parkers

    Jackie2017-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't of picked a better place. If your looking for a place to please everyone in the family this is the place. Lots of space to run around, hike, plenty of ponds to fish, feed the fish and watch the geese swim with their young ones. Or to spend a quiet day reading with soft sounds of water running behind the cabin.

    Jim And Angela2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • The Creekside Cabin is on a small (by Montana standards - we had a good many acres in which to roam) ranch. It is less than a mile from US 191 with a creek running throughout, 6 ponds, and tree/bush cover making it secluded. The cabin is between Bozeman and W. Yellowstone. You can get to Bozeman in 20 minutes; and to Yellowstone in just under 90 minutes. The cabin is very modern, clean, comfortable, has fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, heat, queen-size bed, bunk bed, and 4 separate rooms. We were a party of 4; and worked perfectly. As a host, John is very friendly, has many ideas for what to do in the area (he's lived there over 40 years), and doesn't give blanket recommendation - asks questions about what we liked individually. We did see wildlife on the ranch: deer, elk, many birds - including ducks and geese, and trout in the pond.

    Dave2017-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location that provides for a quiet stay. Cozy cabin that worked out great for the two of us. John and the team were extremely accommodating.

    David2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • John and Ramona's cozy ranch cabin offers a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable retreat that's easily accessible from the main highway between Bozeman and Yellowstone/Big Sky. Two adults will be quite content here (if you're a writer, you will LOVE working in this cabin with the babbling brook as your accompaniment!). A family of four will be comfortable, especially if the children are young (the water heater is small, due to the cabin's size, so no long showers or someone has a chilly start to the day!). The cabin is a true cabin, small and cozy with a mix of antique and new furnishings that put function first. Don't hesitate to check out the antique pantry in the kitchen -- it has some of the many thoughtful items you'll want for cooking. Keep your camera charged and ready for breathtaking images everywhere you look outside on the ranch. Bring hiking or waterproof boots for the heavy morning dew; you will definitely want to walk along the gorgeous ponds as the sun peaks over the mountains. We saw deer, elk, and otter, as well as John's trout. There were no steer, horses, or sheep on the ranch when we stayed in the cabin this fall. Fishing is an extra fee; ask John about the fishing rules and expectations first. Oh, ask John anything about the place! His stories of the ranch and his vision for it will enthrall you. He knows Yellowstone intimately and has written about it extensively. Yes, spend some time with John, if you can. If you didn't pack much for groceries, try the Buffalo Jump Bar and Grill nearby. The grilled chicken wrap sandwich was delicious and the service was outstanding. The Farmhouse for breakfast is also excellent. To find the cabin the first time was a little tricky. Here's my tip: The cabin is tucked down the long driveway and to the right of the main office/garage, and on the gravel lane past the ranch manager's workshop/home. Park across the lane from the cabin, under the pole with the iron-sculpture owl (one of many stunning iron sculptures on the property). The front door faces the lane, behind the propane tank wooden enclosure. If you're not sure if you love Montana before you stay here, with John and Ramona's gracious hospitality, you will have no doubt when you leave.

Our lovely and spacious Montana home is located 15 minutes from Bozeman, and close to outdoor recreational activities. The rooms are cozy and inviting with many amenities, and the home is both family and pet-friendly.
Our home is in a country setting just southwest of Bozeman. Quiet and beautiful, we sit on 20 acres with a pond and creek. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re in town for outdoor activities, on your way to Yellowstone National Park, or just want to feel like you’re “out in the country.” The room has a queen bed, a sink, a closet with several shelves, and a window seat retreat; the private bathroom is a few steps away. The windows face north and east toward the Bridger Mountains. This is a very quiet, comfortable living space. Two other guest rooms are also available, each with a queen bed and numerous amenities.
You can enjoy the sounds of nature at night, and with no street lights in the area, the night sky is dark, velvety and loaded with stars.
  • This place is BEAUTIFUL! The room, the house, the lake with all its birds. Kathy is a kind and welcoming host, and wonderful company. The only sad part was that I was only able to stay for one night, but if I'm ever back in the area this is where I would want to be. If you have the chance to stay here, don't miss it!

  • Great place, excellent view, and Kathy was wonderful.

  • I loved my time in Bozeman! Kathy was kind, and very detail oriented regarding the logistics of the town. I followed her recomendations, and felt very much like a local. A lovely room, and a yummy breakfast! The experience felt like a B & B!

    Brenda2016-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy and Lawrence were excellent hosts. I appreciated the yummy breakfast each morning. The accommodations were close to downtown, but yet in the country. Super clean and as advertised in the listing. Another great Airbnb host! Don't hesitate to book this listing in Bozeman for a quiet and clean stay.

  • Every Airbnb stay I have had so far has been wonderful, but Kathy takes the cake for making us feel so completely welcomed into her home. Kathy and her dog, Riley, greated us at the front gate and gave us a tour of the areas for us to use in her beautiful house. Our rooms were immaculate and very comfortably decorated, including furniture hand made by Kathy's husband. Having access to the kitchen downstairs was extremely helpful as were able to move our food from a cooler into the refrigerator. After unpacking we spent the rest of our time unwinding on the porch swing, playing frisbee on the lawn, and playing board games in the evening. Overall, I highly recommend staying with Kathy for her warmth of welcome, clear communication, proximity to downtown Bozeman, and her relaxing home and gardens.

    Kate2016-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy has been AMAZING! My son moved to Bozeman, and she has been great with him. The room was spacious, nicely furnished, and had a very "home" like feeling. It's only about 6-8 miles from town, so it's quiet yet close enough to still stay involved with Bozeman life. Thank you again Kathy!

    Rose2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy was so nice and helpful. I love the room and cats at home. Great people with warm welcome. Kathy helped me in understanding the local routes and details about the yellow stones. Break fast with home made juice was so good.

We have 2 empty bedrooms in our lovely & spacious Montana home that are available for you. Each room has its own sink & the two rooms share a private full bath. You would have your own private section of the house! (3rd double bed/bath in basement.)
Our home is in Gallatin Gateway, between Bozeman and Big Sky, so it is a perfect place to stay if you are in town for outdoor activities, on your way to Yellowstone National Park, or visiting friends and family but you "want to get away". The decor is essentially "shabby chic" style. There are lots of family photos, nicknacks, and other fun things to look at around the house. Our home is not spotless, so you should feel comfortable to kick back and relax. You will really feel like you have gone back home (or to your parent's home)!
Quiet and scenic, the area is an escape from the hustle and bustle of a city. Enjoy only the sounds of nature at night.
  • Get ready to be spoiled! Mary makes a lovely and healthy breakfast. She is very knowledgeable in nutrition. She even did our laundry!Dick is very interesting with the activities he is involved with in their community. The hot tub was very relaxing after full days of skiing.

  • I had a lovely stay with Mary & Dick and their wonderful home. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the views were outstanding, the food was yummy (including strawberries, plums, green beans, peas, corn from the garden), Chipper the dog was loveable, the deck was comfortable. Mary & Dick were extremely welcoming and generous ... I quickly felt like one of the family.

  • We had a great although short stay with Mary and Dick. Their hospitality was top notch and the beds comfy. Their land and surrounding area is gorgeous and very close to the Gallatin River where we went rafting. Mary and Dick are wonderful hosts and we so enjoyed talking with them and loved Mary's pancakes for breakfast! We highly recommend staying with them in beautiful Gallatin Gateway!

One room cabin built in 1930s with no running water or indoor plumbing, but does have outhouse and water available. One queen bed and chairs with a wood burning stove. Great views from the cabin. The cabin is by the horse barn so you will be near the big draft horses that live and work on the ranch. Wagon rides are available. We are 20 miles to Bozeman , 27 miles to Big Sky, 60 miles to Yellowstone National Park, and 2 miles to the Gallatin river. Horse boarding available for extra fee.
  • Paul was a great, easy going guy who was very welcoming on our visit. The cabin is really cozy and we enjoyed having a wood stove. We really enjoyed the location as it is on a true Montana Ranch as we had hoped. This place is ideal for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and a more rustic overnight experience. Highly recommend it and would visit again if we travel back to Montana.

    Tom2018-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Paul's place. Highly recommended!!

    Zack2018-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Paul was great and incredibly accommodating. We arrived around 10 pm... way later than anticipated although Paul still waited for us. Wine was great and the little touches such as the old Cazadores bottle and old photos. It was the little unique touches that made all the difference. He recommended a trail to us that was just down the road and beautiful. Horses and dogs were one of my favorite parts. Rustic and fantastic location. Loved it all! Oooh... cannot forget the coffee too :)

    Ellen2018-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an incredible experience staying with Paul! This truly stands out as one of the most unique and memorable places we’ve ever stayed. Paul was such a generous and gracious host - he even took us on a sunset horse and carriage ride along a nearby stream. The cabin itself is like something out of a movie - 30 or more animal skulls dot the walls, and the bed is draped with a bison hide. (Probably not the right spot for you if you’re squeamish about such things.) The wood burning stove kept things toasty during the chilly spring evenings, and the outhouse was the cleanest, most spacious one I’ve ever used. The views are spectacular in every direction. You wake up to horses just steps from your door, and you get to play with two adorable and rambunctious pups. If all that weren’t enough, it’s also a pretty quick drive into Bozeman, and there are some awesome antique shops in the area if that’s your thing. We only spent two days here, but we fell in love with this part of Montana in the process.

    Jenny2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this place is wonderful! The scenery, the cabin, the warm blankets on the bed, the very friendly dogs and horses, and the incredibly nice host. I would recommend it to everyone! (As long as you are ok using an outhouse - which was part of the attraction in my opinion)

    Tammy2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Do not sleep on this!!!! No better possible first night in Montana, Paul is a true gentleman, you will be far from disappointed!!!!

    Shelton2018-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Paul's cabin is great. The setting is amazing and its nice and quiet. It was so nice to sit on the front porch of the cabin drinking wine and watching the sunset. Then waking up, making coffee, and watching the sunrise. I would 100% recommend this cabin if you are visiting Bozeman or Big Sky. Both are easy to drive to. Paul and his ranch made my work trip feel like a vacation.

This location is halfway between Big Sky/Moonlight and Bridger ski areas. A perfect place to stay while skiing the Big Sky. Imagine skiing/snowmobiling all day and soaking in the hot pools at Bozeman Hot Springs (nearby) at night. You'll feel like like you are staying in a treehouse with this second story cowboy cabin. Located a half mile south of Bozeman Hot Springs, a hundred yards from the Gallatin River near Upper and Lower Rainbow Road. We love our place - you will too.
This is a custom built 720 sq ft apartment accessible via a personal back stairway. Two bedrooms, a bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower. A galley kitchen with a sink, a 2-burner stove top, a fridge and a roomy living space with TV. This apartment sits atop our garage and is connected to our existing home. The hosts do live in the attached log house. If there is anything we can help you with - we will do our best.
Located near Upper and Lower Rainbow road. Only a short walk to the Bozeman Hot Springs, our location is a short 35 miles from Big Sky ski area and 31 miles from Bridger Bowl. Only a couple hundred yards from one of the best blue ribbon trout fishing -- the Gallatin River. You want to experience Bozeman? There's no better place than the Rainbow Cabin.
  • Willie communicated with us via email often. Despite the fact that we were exploring late everyday and didn't actually meet him, he checked in everyday to make sure we were comfortable and didn't need anything. Knowing that we had our two young adult children with us he bought an air mattress and sheets and had that waiting for us too- so very considerate. The cabin is very clean and modern and it is beautifully decorated. We look forward to going back to Bozeman and staying at the Rainbow cabin.

    DeAnne2016-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • The host is very kind to offer tips for our trip. The house is very cozy and clean in a beautiful spot. I'll definitely come back to rainbow cabin if traveling to Yellowstone again.

  • My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rainbow cabin. Rhonda and Willie were friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The cabin was clean, well-appointed, and just plain fun. It was the perfect place to stay for our fly fishing trip to the area. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely want to stay at the Rainbow Cabin.

    Roger2016-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Willie's place. It's very private, quiet and clean. The apartment is above the garage and even though it's says its attached to the main house it doesn't share any common walls. It's attached by a walk way to the main house. The location was perfect. We were 5 miles from Gallatin Gateway and just down the road from the hot springs and the river which we went tubing on. We loved the cat Toby too who loved his morning rubs! We hope to visit Willie's place again.

    Angela2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome location if you are spending some time at the hotsprings. The cat Sammy was very friendly and sweet and the bbq grill was a great bonus!

    Jessie2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was very clean and comfortable. William and Rhonda were very courteous and professional relative to our stay. They respected our privacy and I would recommend the Rainbow Cabin to anyone visiting Bozeman.

  • Staying at Christie and Jack's apartment was an excellent experience. The apartment is separate from the house and offers a private experience. The location is about 10 minutes from downtown Bozeman so it's not far to drive to breakfast or dinner in town. I would definitely stay there again!

    Doug2017-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Jack and Christie's place was great! The four of us fit comfortably and had everything we needed for a week long stay. Plus they gave us fresh eggs from their chickens!

  • We only stayed for one night but we really enjoyed it! The place is done up very nicely and all the comforts of home are available! After already being on the road for some time it was really nice to have a washer and dryer to use! We got to say hi to the horses and the chickens in the morning and had fresh eggs for breakfast! I would definitely recommend a stay here!

  • I stayed at William's place on a trip I had to Bozeman. my work involved intense contract negotiations so I wanted a place away from town, quiet, and soothing to my overall state of being. William's place was all that and more! close to beautiful terrain to hike, comfortable and clean with all the privacy and amenities I wanted and needed. He even stocked the frig with drinks, provided good coffee, and some snacks! Overall, i appreciated the beauty of the space, the quietude of sitting outside in the patio, and William's prompt communication via text. I will def stay here again if and when I'm back in Bozeman.

    Erik2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely and functional space in a serene setting. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a quiet and beautiful retreat with easy access to all that the area has to offer! The host was friendly and helpful...just the right amount of interaction.

    Chris2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Far enough out of town but close enough that it's an easy and quick drive. The downstairs bed is very comfortable and they supply you with warm cozy blankets. The shower is walk in only and has decent water pressure. They leave clear instructions of what is expected so there isnt any confusion. Based on our interactions even if there was some confusion you'd get a prompt reply. The weather wasn't nice enough to sit out on the patio but we enjoyed the incredible view from the window. Very scenic and great location for a walk that isn't completely surrounded by housing. Nice, relaxing weekend retreat.

  • Great location, great hosts! Beautiful spacious two-bedroom, perfect for what we needed. Lovely walks in the area with a little creek running alongside. It was exactly like the pictures, not like some listings that have photos taken with a super wide angle that make the place look big when it's really tiny.

  • Wonderful and cozy place to stay. We spent 3 days skiing at big sky and this was a great location to stay close to the resort. It fit our group perfectly and we had all the amenities we needed to cook all our meals. We will definitely be coming back to stay and explore more of Montana/big sky

We have two bedrooms available in our lovely and spacious Montana home, each room includes a private bath. The home is located in the country, 15 minutes from Bozeman, and close to hiking, skiing, and other outdoor recreational activities.
Our home is in a country setting just southwest of Bozeman. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re in town for outdoor activities, on your way to Yellowstone National Park, or just want to feel like you’re “out in the country.” This room has a queen-size bed, and private bathroom a few steps away. This is a very quiet, comfortable living space. We’re 20 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, and 10 minutes from MSU. • I had a great time staying with Bonnie and Roger. They were perfect hosts. I call their place Shangri-La because the house is over-the-top wonderful as well as the setting. I tried to get them to adopt me :-)...that's how much I loved my stay. I thank them for putting up with me for a week and giving me great tips on things to do in the Bozeman area.

    Don2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Bonnie and Roger are the nicest hosts. Their house is absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations by far. They are located about 10-15 minutes from town and MSU, so still close to everything but just far enough away from it all to really relax and feel like your on vacation. If you want a true Montana experience thier house is the one. They have a huge living room window with postcard views. It's breathtaking. We can't wait to stay with again!!!

    devon2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Bonnie's home is beautiful, spacious, and so comfortable. Her grounds are private, and the views gorgeous! The hospitality is gracious and warm, and I recommend Bonnie's home for your stay in Bozeman.

    Rebecca2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Bonnie's place was more than I ever expected. Bonnie was wonderful to communicate with and welcomed my son and me with such grace and comfort. The room that we used was perfect! The bed was so comfortable and my son raved about the futon as well! The bathroom was clean and stocked with fluffy towels. Views from the bedroom are beautiful! In preparation of moving my son into his dorm room, Bonnie was kind enough to allow me to have a package delivered to the house as well! She always replied to my messages and was very helpful. We will be back!!!

We have two bedrooms available in our lovely and spacious Montana home, each with a private full bath. The home is located in the country, 15 minutes from Bozeman, and close to hiking, skiing, and other outdoor recreational activities.
Our home is in a country setting just southwest of Bozeman. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re in town for outdoor activities, on your way to Yellowstone National Park, or just want to feel like you’re “out in the country.” This room has a queen-size bed, a desk, and a closet, and the private bathroom is adjoining. This is a very quiet, comfortable living space. We’re 20 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, and 10 minutes from MSU. Hyalite Canyon and reservoir, home of hiking, boating, picnicking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing are a beautiful 30-minute drive from our home. Other nearby local attractions include the Museum of the Rockies and Bozeman Hot Springs, and blue-ribbon fly fishing streams are within shouting distance. Bridger Bowl and Big Sky/Moonlight ski areas are about 40 miles away. Further down the road, Yellowstone National Park’s north and west entrances are 90-mile drives, and Grand Teton National Park lies just south of Yellowstone. Glacier National Park is approximately 6 hours to the north.
This is a quiet and scenic location just off of a private road with light traffic and virtually no city noise. You can enjoy the sounds of nature at night, and with no street lights in the area, the night sky is dark, velvety and loaded with stars.
  • Very beautiful place out in the country. You will love it. Great for business or couples.

  • Bonnie and Roger were great hosts, friendly and respectful. I can't say enough about the experience. And the bed was one of the best night's sleep I've had in a great while.

Fish right from this 3-bedroom 2 bath cabin on the West Gallatin River, This cabin has lots of glowing light and great views of the river. Complete with hot tub on the deck, gas fireplace, full kitchen, wireless internet.
Each week rental receives an 8th night free! This 1650 square foot cabin has been fully remodeled including new wood floors and much of the original 1920's era log walls were preserved and add great color to the interior. The cabin is very well insulated to keep it cool in summer, and has forced air heat and a gas fireplace for those colder times of the calendar. The second floor master bedroom suite with riverside deck has a 180-degree view of the river (queen bed, tub/shower). The fully outfitted kitchen has a dishwasher, garbage disposal, electric stove & oven, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, all of which were new in 2008. Dining room table seats six and expands to seat ten. Sunroom with adjacent large deck with bbq and hot tub. The other queen bedroom is on the main floor, as is the bedroom with 2 extra-long twin beds. The 6-bedroom Lucky Dog Lodge is 2 doors down, so this rental makes for great overflow lodging when both houses are rented together. The cottage is pet friendly and a $50/pet fee will be assessed after your reservation is made, through Airbnb's system for charging pet fees. Maximum of one pet please. $250 refundable pet deposit required via (Hidden by Airbnb) or online credit card payment. Guests with pets must agree to pet rules and policies which will be sent by email.
The neighborhood is mostly 1 acre lots and the homes are generally 20 years old. The cabin is on the west edge along the Gallatin River, so once you are on our property then the neighborhood pretty much disappears. The roads are dirt and bumpy so nobody drives too fast.

  • The place was well located for adventure and for our purposes for a work conference nearby. Check in was smooth and simple and communications were prompt and clear.

  • This house was perfect! 6 adults and 3 kids all slept peacefully. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. The house was clean and communication with the host was there when we needed it. I highly suggest this home if you're looking for great views, a quiet neighborhood, and great memories.

  • This is a beautiful home. The radiant heat is heavenly! LOVE the warm floors. There was an issue with the heat when we arrived, but Kathy was fast and had it fixed very quickly. A couple things that would make this house even better: An upgrade to the television (the current one is a little bit small for the size of the room), and wi-fi. While we knew there was no internet going in, it would have come in handy for a couple work and school related things that came up over break. All in all, a beautiful home, perfect location and wonderful host!

  • Kathy was very welcoming. Her home was beautiful. It was a very cozy and nice stay.

    Yen2016-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • No problems of any kind, great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

    Harold2016-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy's home was such a gem, especially for booking on such short notice. It had a gorgeous view of Bozeman and the surrounding mountains. We were able to go hiking at Hyalite Lake only 30 min away. Her animals were very sweet and accommodations very comfortable. She was kind enough to make us breakfast with eggs from her chickens. Definitely would stay here again.

    Michi2017-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second visit. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Hoping to get back next summer and spend a few days exploring. Can't wait until next time.

    Donna2016-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy and Lawrence were wonderful hosts. This house is definitely on a little piece of heaven away from it all but convenient to everything Bozeman has to offer. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity to share in life in the Montana countryside.

    Meagan2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay here. Kathy was in touch with us before and during our stay. . Kathy offered to make breakfast one morning, which was very kind of her and was delicious. Beautiful home and very clean. People should be aware that there are many hunted trophies on display within the home in case something like that bothers them.

    Lisa2016-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Such a comfortable house, this was my second night's stay and I would stay again for a third without hesitation. Their house fits all the standards of comfort and then some, and it's super quiet.

  • Beautiful spot, quiet and well-appointed Out in the country yet close to Bozeman Hot Springs, excellent hiking and 15 minutes from Bozeman

    Claudia2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • We found Sherry's guest house to be a perfect fit for us. It was as described and more than comfortable for our family of four, including teenage and eight-year old boys. Our teenage son especially loved having access to a loft away from mom and dad, and equipped with an Xbox! Our eight year old son really loved being on the ranch with space to spread out and an amazing view on all sides! We found an awesome breakfast/lunch spot within 5 minutes - the Coffee Pot Bakery Cafe and the gas station nearby had most of the items we needed on short notice. Otherwise, given we were out and about for most of the time, getting to a grocery store for us was not a big deal even though it is about 15-20 minutes away. I have no regrets staying with Sherry as she was more than hospitable, answering all of our questions and providing a great place for us to stay while we explored the greater Bozeman area (after staying closer to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks for visits there). We'd love to come back!

The Copper Cabin is a hand-crafted log home. It has queen bed in separate bedroom, lovely kitchen and bath, dining area, twin hide-a-bed in living room and a deck in back with awesome view of the Bridger Mts. and lots of sun.
Two charming hand-crafted log cabins located 10 miles SW of Bozeman in a rural area and still only 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman. Each offers a kitchen with everything but the food, nice bathroom, queen bed, comfy furniture, decks with fabulous views of surrounding mountains. A true Montana experience!
The cabins are located on a secondary road with mostly local traffic so it is quiet and relaxing. You can enjoy watching the horses grazing across the fence. There is a nice hike right out the front door for you and your dog.
  • Susie’s Copper Cabin was something out of a fairy tale. Absolutely stunning views from an adorably rustic cabin. It is a great place to have quiet time, watch the sky, the birds and her horses. It was also a great location for drives to many different trailheads and downtown Bozeman. We sincerely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again and again!

    Oriana2018-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was adorable, simply furnished and cozy, with everything you need. The back deck is uniquely positioned to allow total privacy - no view from the road, or the cabin that is a little ways away next door. The view from this back deck was fantastic, it was fun watching Susie's horses hang out in the pasture while sipping coffee or wine! It's easy to access grocery stores, and there is great hiking just a mile or two away, so you don't have to go far. Susie is extremely responsive.

    Marie2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Susie's place for 3 wonderful nights and didn't want to leave! I had a work meeting nearby so the cabin worked out perfectly, but it also a great vacation spot. The setting is gorgeous, cabin well appointed, charmingly decorated and located not far from Bozeman and Yellowstone and amazing wild places are close by for exploration. Check out Stacey's Bar nearby for the great steaks. Susie was a great communicator and we highly recommend a stay here!

    Kelly2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Susies Cabin was way better than we imagined, super comfortable, romantic, little slide of heaven. Close enough to Bozeman but far enough you feel as though you are out on the range! We stayed 10 days and were sad to leave!

    Bob2017-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • Susie's cabin is really beautiful in a beautiful setting. The interior is comfortable and well thought through. Outside you'll find grass and another cabin. The dirt road is right there so you will hear traffic drive by but it's a quiet road and there isn't much traffic. You can see horses right behind the fence and look for miles and miles into the mountains. I'd stay here again.

  • We used this rental as extra space for family in town for a wedding. Ann was very friendly and helpful. I only marked down because of the big dogs. I met them at check in and Ann and I talked about them and how to approach them coming and going (they ARE friendly!!), but they still managed to startle our guests a few times.

A getaway that's not far away from everything. Our cabin sits on 30 acres that straddle the beautiful Gallatin River and is 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, 45 minutes to three world-class ski hills, or 1.5 hours to legendary Yellowstone National Park. Our cabin boasts three large bedrooms, each with two queen beds, private full bath, private entrance, AC, gas fireplace, and satellite television. All linens are provided. The full kitchen is stocked with pots/pans, dishware, and silverware. There is a BBQ on the deck. A sitting room is open to the kitchen and has four leather arm chairs, over-sized plasma television, and gas fireplace. The cabin overlooks a large yard and trout-holding pond. Guests are welcome to take a short walk down the Gallatin River to enjoy the scenery or to cast a line (catch & release, please). The owners are on-sight and happy to assist guests with any issues or to make recommendations to local activities/restaurants.
  • We loved The TroutChasers Cabin! Everything was perfect... the cabin was beautiful and clean - just as described and pictured. The property was amazing. Walking the property and enjoying the river was a highlight of our trip - from the pond, to the garden and chickens, to the back cabin and trails... there was a new surprise around every corner! The property was kid friendly and our two young boys loved every minute of it. Julie and her family were gracious hosts and very friendly. The location is convenient as well - the perfect midway point between Bozeman and the Canyon. We hope to make this a yearly stop and can't wait to share it with our friends. Highly Recommended!

  • We spent a night here before journeying into Yellowstone. The cabin was clean and spacious and overall lovely. The property is extensive and we walked down to a nearby stream along with their friendly dogs. For dinner we went out to nearby Bozeman historic downtown which has plenty of fun places to check out. Julie was friendly and helpful. The main house is a hundred feet away from the cabin but we still felt like we had plenty of privacy too. I am happy to recommend this host.

A cozy country home on 1 acres of manicured landscape, a vacation oasis itself without leaving the property! A peaceful magical place where magnificent views can be seen in all directions.
  • Beautiful house with everything you could need. Easy access to town in a great quiet neighborhood. We loved our stay for our sons graduation from MSU.

  • Lovely place with views of the mountains. Teresa made us feel welcome from the start, texting to keep up with our flight delays and literally leaving the light on for us (and door unlocked and beds ready) when we ultimately arrived at 2am. The place has a welcoming kitchen, eating space and bedrooms. It also has a lovely back yard. We would definitely come back.

    Micaela2016-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Teresa's place was great and as advertised. She was a gracious host and we really enjoyed all the backyard amenities! Great place to review the recent eclipse. Highly recommended.

    David2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Teresa was an excellent host. She communicated well with me from the beginning of the booking. She was also nice enough to give me a tour of her ranch and had dinner for me on one evening. As a business traveler its hard to feel at home when away but she made me feel like one of the family. The house was amazing and very clean and everything in the city was quickly accessible. I will be staying here again.

    DeAndre2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Teresa and I spoke several times before arrival, and she had the house open, fans on, and lights on when we arrived. She was reachable during our stay by text, and came immediately when we needed something. She was most gracious and even gave us some elk steaks for the grill! The location was great, just a few minutes from the hot springs -- which are wonderful! This was our first stay using Airbnb, and we loved the experience.

    Ella2016-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • I have admit that the backyard was amazing and the place was in quite are and good for relaxing. We had a number of issues with this listing: 1. There was a mouse seen in and near the kitchen four times. After the first time the owner was informed and she set a mouse trap. But a mouse continued to appear. 2. There was a maintenance/cleaning crew that showed up on four occasions. I was informed about only three of them. Still, the last thing I want is a maintenance guy drilling outside my bedroom door while I'm on vacation. 3. The bedroom arrangements denoted on the Airbnb website were NOT accurate. She advertise it as a 3 bedroom while in reality it is not. 4. The owner does not communicate well with guests. 5. The owner does not respect guest privacy. 6. The owner has a set of house rules that weren't posted on Airbnb, which I was fine with. Some of those rules were not accurate and updated. For example, it said that the used towels should be placed in bathroom hamper, but there wasn't any bathroom hampers. When I tried to contact the owner she said it is my responsibility to clean them! In brief, the owner has a lack of professionalism, ethics, and she down not respect guest's privacy.

  • Mellisa was thoughtful, focused, and very dedicated to the quality of our stay. She answered all of our questions with great detail and care, and her tips on the cabin and local area were spot on. Overall I could not have asked for a better experience, and would recommend the Little Bear Cabin to all that are interested in a breathtaking getaway.

  • We were very comfortable staying in this home, it is a lovely place- much more spacious than you would think by looking at the pictures! The special touches made our stay most memorable. While there are homes nearby, there is a great deal of privacy and a spectacular view! Melissa was enjoyable to work with and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend a stay at this home.

  • The location of this place is fantastic and Melissa was a great host! She was very responsive and always on top of things. It is very spacious and somewhat secluded -- it sits at the end of a cul de sac without any nearby neighbors. It is very convenient to Bozeman, Big Sky, Gallatin River, Madison River, etc. We had a great time! Biking, hiking, fishing, floating. A great outdoors vacation!

This was our second stay at Karen and Stuart's place, and we enjoyed it very much. The neighborhood is wonderful and conveniently located to downtown; the place was clean, warm and cozy; and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. Excellent value. We'll be back!

Wow. I LOVED my 2 night stay at Stacey's home. It was clean and quiet and comfortable. I really enjoyed discussing Bozeman and she was kind enough to suggest some local hiking and dining spots. And the hammock was a perfect place to read after a busy day. I highly recommend this host!

What a gift Mary and Ken gave our family by opening their carriage house and land to us! We expected a beautiful, natural setting to explore with our kids, and we were blown away -- the carriage house and the land exceeded our excited expectations. Our kids loved playing in the creek nearby, exploring the fields and trees with their little hiking sticks in hand, and scampering up and down the hill behind the carriage house. If that weren't enough, Mary and Ken were gracious, accommodating, and kind hosts. They quickly make you feel as if you're staying in a friend's carriage house. Our kids are already talking about coming back next year!
