I am the founder of #inCREASEtheFOLD; origami as a contemplative practice photo blog. I was "that friend" in middle school who folded the notes we passed in the halls into the shapes of stars, hearts, and arrows. Two decades ago I found a book in a used bookstore: How to Make Origami Boxes. Origami boxes have been my self-care/relaxation and creative outlet ever since. Some do yoga, I do Origami!

Origami is a fun, relaxing, and contemplative practice. Our time together will be about wellness and creativity. We'll start by selecting paper from an array of patterns, prints, and designs. As you sip bubbly beverages and tea, we will practice foundational origami folds in contemplative silence. Once you are confident in your folding skills, we'll move to a heavier weight paper for the creation…
