I will be teaching you how to make 2 different types of pasta from scratch, how to incorporate a healthy twist into each one, show you how to make a delicious sauce using ingredients already in the pantry.

Phillipe was very knowledgeable about pasta making. Even though my boyfriend and I have experience making pasta, we still learned a lot about the dough making process. Once it came time to put the pasta in the water, things felt extremely rushed. This class is only an hour, so adding an extra half hour to the course would really help things to feel more calm. Our pasta was a little thicker, so our required a little extra time to cook. However, we had to remove it early to start making the sauce. At the end, Phillipe showed the participants how to make a few other styles of pasta, but this too was rushed. An hour and a half would make this course better.

For those of us not in Italy, Phillipe's class offers a great, personal, and efficient experience on US-centric time! Loved his patience and storytelling and really appreciated his attention to detail throughout. Will definitely be trying to take another class soon.

It felt like the class was rushed and not detailed. We didn’t get any ingredients or specific instructions until the night before, even though messages had been sent asking questions prior to that. We ended up making Cacio è Pepe, but I don’t like pepper, so if I had known beforehand then I would have prepared my own sauce. My great aunt was having trouble with the technology so the host kind of just wrote her off, granted technology is difficult. It really felt like the host had done little to no virtual teaching. It’s a learning curve, for sure, but didn’t make for a great experience. It would have been nice to have the host get to know the group a little more, and take more time to make sure everybody is on the same page, monitoring progress and such, all of which we had experienced in our last top chef cooking class. It was fine but not at all what we expected, I guess the bar was just set high by the last chef we worked with.

Phillipe's pasta making class was awesome! He gave easy to follow instructions and would stop and help if we had questions! He had a fun anecdote for every situation and was just generally a pleasant guy to talk to (even at 9:00 P.M., so that's saying something). He was also very responsive in Airbnb messages in regards to ingredients and the timing of class. Would recommend.

This class was really great! Phillipe did a great job breaking down the steps needed to make the pasta. We didn’t know what to expect or if we’d be good at it, but he helps you create something that’s really hard to mess up on and is delicious.
