We had a magical stay at the most gorgeous location in Ohio. The house was breath taking. Clean, modern, well equipped and cozy. Our host was super attentive, left us fresh flowers and decked the place out with entirely premium details. This was a bargain beyond belief.

We were looking for a last minute long weekend escape, and were so lucky to have found this cottage!! It is just as described. Perfect for a quiet escape. Everything you need to relax. We originally thought we'd explore local restaurants, but were enjoying the solitude so much we just cooked all our meals at the cottage. Great wildlife watching as well.....watched osprey and eagle hunt the lake, and a little beaver on its daily routine...... so fun!! We also greatly appreciated being able to bring our dog. He seemed to love the tranquility as well, and the road around the lake is perfect for getting in those daily walks. We definitely plan to be back!! The only disappointment was having to leave. Great location right across from Lake Erie. Nice walkable neighborhood close to parks. Short drive to many west side suburbs. House was clean and perfect size for a week visiting the area. Host was great, very responsive and check in/out was easy.

Diana was extremely responsive to all of our questions. The house was in a safe area with blinds and blackout curtains to provide added privacy. The well-maintained house was comfortable and close enough to the park and beach for daily walks with our dog. The home even provided supplies like crate and waste bags for your pet. The noise from the busy street was not even noticeable inside the home. We have heard train noise in all homes where we have stayed (even our family) over the years - it’s just a given in the area. This home has the best insulation and I only noticed the train twice while sleeping. The heat works great and we even set the thermostat 5 degrees lower than we keep it at home. We plan to make this our first choice for future visits.

This place is as pictured. The house has an older appeal to it. It felt comfortable because you felt like you did not have to worry about every little thing being touched like some of the other places on here. The furniture is older but comfy. We work long hours and the beds where so soft. We made dinner two nights in a row and all sat down at the table together. That is always a plus to me family time over a meal is great. Daniel was amazing, he checked in more than once to make sure we where good. He is fast to respond and has detailed notes of what to do. Wonderful host.

Very nice place to stay for a week of winery visits. Cute little town with a few nice restaurants and bars as well. We had a small issue with the toilet handle and Audrey had that resolved within hours. I would definitely stay here again.

Dan’s lakeside stay was the PERFECT getaway for my family this year for Easter. Everyone was comfortable and was able to enjoy their private bedrooms, bathrooms, and the amenities are ideal. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, playing pool in the garage, enjoying the view on the deck, and spending time with eachother as a family. The playroom for the small kids was perfect, too, which gave them their own little escape from adults. This is hands-down my Top 2 places I’ve stayed for AirBnB, and I hope we can return again next year.

This was a great place to stay. Everything we were expecting from the post. Very clean, quiet, great location. Would definitely recommend. Host was great!
