The Old Stable provides comfortable self contained accommodation in the picturesque village of Stanford in the Vale, located in the beautiful Vale of White Horse close to the Ridgeway. We are 12 miles west of Oxford and within easy reach of the Cotswolds and River Thames. Village amenities include a pub, cafe and supermarket. The accommodation, located on two floors with private entrance, has an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and TV sitting area. There is an en-suite bath/shower.

We are delighted to reopen the dovecote after some essential improvements. We can now offer availability from this spring. A completely unique experience. The Old Bakery At The Grange

Perfectly located for RIAT, being walking distance from the Green Entry Point, The Old Bakery At The Grange is an ideal cottage for exploring all that the Cotswolds has to offer whatever the season. We are a few minutes’ walk away from The Old Spotted Cow pub. The cottage is full of country character and the interiors reflect our love of travel. Due to the character features of the cottage, it is unsuitable for very young toddlers and those unsteady on their feet.

The Pool House

Relax and reset at the Pool House. The Pool House provides a quiet location where you can relax away from the world. Swim in our pool, heated during the warmer months. During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.

As an experienced super host I've learnt our annex's blend of comfort, cleanliness and style ensures guests return to us regularly. The kitchenette is well equipped to make small meals and snacks, you can curl up and watch netflix or walk to a local pub or catch a regular bus to Oxford. We're a stone's throw from the countryside, the Cotswolds and The Ridgeway - so plenty for you walkers. A perfect place to work or to get a homely break away.
