A small cabin built like a studio apartment. Very roomy and homey — quaint, quiet and simple. There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? The home is crafted to provide you with over 420 Sq Feet of carefully planned space offering a fully functional kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and a custom tiled shower. It is truly magical to soak outdoors under the night sky in the privacy of your own hot tub.

A beautiful and welcoming cottage style home with cozy furniture and comfortable beds. A full kitchen with access to outdoor deck and grill. Large windows, mountain views and private setting provide a relaxing stay. Personal outdoor space with lawn and fire pit ready for your use. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood within minutes of downtown Wasilla. In a great location for traveling to south to Anchorage. Also this cottage comes with an amazing view of the Talkeetna Range.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Pull-out queen couch can sleep additional two guests. *Winter months, AWD is a must. Garage is not for guest use.

This is a large guest suite on the first floor with Private Entrance, Private En-Suite Bathroom, Large Dressing Room, Refrigerator, microwave, dining table and sleeper sofa. The entrance is private and is accessed from the private driveway. Outside there is a bar-B-Que Grill, Firepit and yard. If a need arises during your stay, we are an email or phone call away. We look forward to hosting you. There isn't a sink in the main room.
