Cozy place, great location, clear communication from our host.

I have been staying here for a few years. I stay here on average 4 times a year. My dogs love staying here! They poke their heads out the window when I pull up to the gate, and happily bark. We take walks around the pasture. The Hosts' dogs loves to greet us with barks of joy. I love feeding their horses apples. They will follow me around the fence line demanding more snacks. It is in the country but very close to stores. This is a great place for those that want to be out of town but need to be close to Sacramento or Davis. This area is part of the Delta which means water is nearby. Mosquitoes are plenty in shady areas but so are birds. The last time I was there, I did hear a seal!! That surprised me! Peacocks like to make themselves heard down the road. I have seen coyotes in the area. I watched one of the horses chase a turkey out of the pasture. I have enjoyed moon watching many times here. The sunsets are beautiful! The house is comfortable and clean. You can sit outside.

Elena’s place was wonderful. Incredibly well appointed and lovely. She has thought of anything a guest might want or need. We will absolutely be back when we come to visit friends in Sacramento.

Phoebe and TK’s place was truly a peaceful sanctuary. The robes, coffee, bottle of wine and wonderful bathroom amentites made it feel like a weekend of luxury. They truly thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with all you might need to make full meals, which we did. And they even had an assortment of spices to choose from. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views were stunning. We saw deer and quail each day. Such a lovely getaway for my birthday with my friend. We felt pampered by the thoughtful touches and intentional care put into this space. 100% recommend.

Cindy's place was exactly as described. We enjoyed checking out Placerville and surrounding areas then coming back to Cindy's to relax and unwind. A perfect getaway week!

Suzanne is a wonderful host! She is so kind, attentive to the needs of her guests. I am touched by her caring spirit. The cottage will always hold a special place in my heart.

Cynthia’s place was cozy and relaxing. The spa was so nice to relax in. We walked to restaurants from the house. We love the Land Park neighborhood. It was quiet and the place was just as described. We even got to meet Toby.

Stacey has created a truly magical and tranquil experience. The beautiful garden, the wonderful cottage, fresh baked bread, it all was so nurturing and peaceful and quiet. A really special few days. Thank you Stacey!

Shane’s place is in a great location. It’s private, quiet and suitable for 1 to 2 people. ( couples). it’s cozy but it needs more brilliant lighting especially in the kitchen area. I opted not to cook because of the lighting. In addition, there’s not a lot of counter space to cook. Unfortunately you can’t leave the doors open for fresh air. The one side has a security screen but it’s not flush to the whole door frame so flies, and bugs can get in. And the other door has no screen. Overall it’s a great place for privacy, it’s safe and the location is ideal.

Thank you Suz for the great stay! The location was cozy, dog friendly, and in a great location for visiting family in Folsom. Suz went out of her way to decorate for the holidays for guests and was friendly and proactive. We appreciated the large dining table, games, and amenities.

Our stay was great, everything was exactly as described on the website. Getting into the house was extremely easy, and what a great place. High end touches everywhere! We loved it!!

We just spent the weekend here for the Canyons Endurance Run and it was a perfect location! It is about two blocks away from the main street and close to the trails as well. The house was beautiful and comfortable with all the necessities and additional amenities to make us feel at home.

We had a wonderful time at Victors place! he was very accommodating to me, my husband, and my two pets. the place was cozy and had everything you would want. there is some street traffic noise, but its not too bad since the unit is far from the street. I really enjoyed the modern decor and how the backyard was fenced in for my animals. thank you for a wonderful stay!

First, this is a beautiful home. Modern, open, well-appointed, and squeaky-clean. It is on the edge of the Fab 40s, a beautiful neighborhood in East Sacramento. It's a very short (less than 5 min) walk to a coffee shop, bookstore, and restaurants. Nicole was a great host--very responsive and generous! I mentioned we were having my daughter and a few friends over for dinner, and she brought up an extra chair. She let us use a portable speaker, and pointed out the best running routes in the neighborhood. All above and beyond. I enthusiastically recommend this home!

Ezra and Carolann were great hosts. The location is a favorite in Sacramento and the accommodations were comfortable and extensive. It had everything I might need for a stay there. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Jennifer’s! The cottage is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were clear, check in was simple, and the cottage looked just like the photos. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jennifer and Craig were also very quick to respond whenever we had any questions. There were also many restaurants/shops nearby! We will definitely be staying again in the future!

We had a really great stay - Russ had responded to all our queries very promptly and was very friendly. Instructions were clear and the place was really nice.

Very cute cottage like unit. Appreciated the good coffee and real kleenex boxes. Also could see the vacuum tracks in the couch and carpet so we knew it was clean.

We were looking for a peaceful dog-friendly stay for our trip out to Amador wine country and Michael & Clint's property delivered! The shipping container concept was brilliant and we looked forward to spending time on the deck. We were thrilled when we got there to find that the deck was fully enclosed which allowed us to take the leashes off! We had a great evening eating outside under the lights then turning everything off and enjoying the night sky. We will definitely return with our dogs on our next trip! As a side note we have previously stayed in Plymouth, Jackson and Mokelumne Hill where there is a dearth of electric car chargers. This location was ideal for running up to Placerville, charging our car while enjoying espresso drinks at Pachamama Coffee.
