The apartment is a 1965 square foot 2-bedroom with a king-size bed in each bedroom. A full kitchen, a very large living dining kitchen area, a private patio, a gas log fireplace, huge TVs, and a jaw-dropping view of WCU and Cullowhee NC and yes a killer hot tub to soak in the view. The best of everything!

Great for WCU families! Three 3-bedroom mountain home is nestled in the woods with mountain views, 7 mins from WCU and the Tuckaseegee River. Cook a homemade meal for your student. Bring their pet they miss. Play! Fly fish in the Tuckaseegee River-one of the best in North Carolina. Enjoy a moderate hike behind the house (to the fork in the road,) Drive 20 mins to the ‘Four Remote Gems’ lakes of the East Fork of the River and paddle board. The closest lakes are Cedar Cliff & Bear Lake.

Our evenings usually unfold on the expansive new deck, which wraps around three sides of the house. Here, you can relax in an Adirondack chair, gaze at the stars, cook on the grill, enjoy a meal, and warm up next to the outdoor propane fireplace. The house comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 4 children.

This cabin is close to Western Carolina University ( about 4 miles), Cullowhee, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. You’ll love this home because of the views, the coziness, woodburning fireplace, firepit, convenience and unique decorations ( I call it the museum in honor of my grandparents). In addition to two bedrooms, there are bunk beds in the loft for the kids. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located cottage just 5-minutes to the hospital and main street where you'll find plenty of shopping, food and craft breweries. 12- minutes to the nearest blue ridge parkway entrance, 10-minutes to rainbow trout fishing in the beautiful Tuckasegee river, 13-minutes to WCU and 23-mintues to the Cherokee casino. Come enjoy watching the green crawl up the mountains and the flowers blooming this spring in our cozy cottage!

Our cabin offers a treasured panoramic view of the Tuckaseegee River. It is conveniently located within 10 minutes to Dillsboro, Sylva, and Cullowhee, 30 minutes from Cherokee, Cashiers Highlands, and 40 minutes from Asheville. The living room has 2 comfortable couches and the kitchen includes all modern amenities except a dishwasher. All linens and towels are provided, and there is a washer and dryer.

The Whee House offers the beauty of nature with modern amenities. Small living at its best! Less than a mile to Western Carolina University. A great place to stay if visiting the university or the Smokey Mountains. Very comfortable space to spend a night or a month.
