Gail’s house was brilliant. Very tranquil and in a peaceful location, and the wildlife was fab. The house was huge and contained everything you might need for a fun weekend away!

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

Such an idyllic little cottage. Almost hard to believe how nice it (and the surroundings) were. Went for a nice walk around the neighborhood and there were birds singing and flowers everywhere. Would stay again!

Kristy provided clear directions with a warm personal welcome - including some candy bars (my wife’s favorite Kit Kat)! Her cabin was perfect for our stay and the hot tub was great on an 8 degree day after a swim in Loch Ness. I HIGHLY recommend staying with Kristy if a cabin setting appeals to you.

We had a wonderful time at Balnacraig Lodge. It had everything we needed and more! We especially loved the large living room which was perfect for socialising and the hot tub. We also loved that the lodge was very baby friendly. We had our 6 month old with us and the highchair and baby monitor meant I didn’t need to bring half our house with us. Really just the most perfect lodge for our wee weekend getaway.

Maggie’s cottage in Dunning is a true gem. The place is beautifully set up, with a cosy but clean feel. The garden and retro hot tub add another dimension and make this an unforgettable stay. We will be back! Thanks a lot

We rented Ladywell Lodge with the Doocot for a large family holiday. Though the cottage is up in the hills, it was very quick to get to major routes. The lodge was perfect for the two couples who stayed there. It is tucked away in its own large outdoor space with woods and hill walks just moments away. It was comfortable and clean with everything as described. The kitchen was well laid out and the sitting room really cosy. The hosts were great too - Sandra is really responsive and we found the flexible check in really good. It was perfect for our family and being able to pair renting this with the Doocot meant we had a brilliant space for lots of people to stay. My husband and I would love to go back and would happily rent the lodge again as it was so comfortable in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

This place is a real gem with stunning views ! Our family really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and well equipped! And there was clear and great instructions for everything.

This place was perfect for our group. Scenic views perfect for sitting out in the garden or walking amongst the hills. Highly reccomend this place for a group of friends or a family. Cozy, clean, accommodating, welcoming, and gorgeous. Highly recommend.

For the second time we did visit this hidden gem in the highlands. Grant and Laura are very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The house is perfect for a family of four. It has everything you need, including comfortable beds. With a little drive their are some great beaches with only few visitors. For a good hike try to climb the Resipole or one of the other mountains. On a clear day the views on top are second to none Lastly you can visit the restaurant at the Strontian hotel (aka Bothy bar) Great food, with an exceptional view. We did visit many spots in Scotland but Ardnamurchan is definitely our favourite. It is as beautiful as Skye but without the busloads of tourists

Ottima stanza molto nuova e pulita in contesto di fattoria. Spazio privato non enorme, ma compensato da molto spazio nella struttura come una grande sala giochi che abbiamo sfruttato in pieno con le nostre bimbe di 2 e 4 anni. Molto piacevole svegliarsi, aprire la finestra e vedere cavalli e altri animali. Ottima base per chi vuole girare le highland, isolata ma non distante dai principali servizi.

Second visit to the Old Checkpoint. Great location for hillwalkers, lots of Munros nearby and a lovely warm comfortable cottage to relax in at the end of a day in the hills. we’ll be back!

Wonderful place and hosts! Caroline and her husband were wonderful, made our anniversary very special. The wood fired hot tub was such a delight after some long hikes in the mountains and they made sure it was perfectly heated for us each night. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. left is some treats that were amazing and it's just such a cozy cottage. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Another wonderful stay here. Cozy, comfortable caravan with a beautiful, peaceful view. Spotlessly clean, great shower, comfy sofas, helpful hosts. Perfect for watching the world go by outside. Can't wait to return next year!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der alten Abtei sehr geliebt - wir haben uns ein bisschen gefühlt wie Harry Potter in Hogwarts. Die Wohnung war sauber, gute ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Die Außenanlage der Abtei ist ein Traum und der Pool ganz wunderbar!

Fabulous stay on Lismore. The Bunkhouse is in a stunning setting and we loved that it was so comfortable, cosy but also environmentally sustainable. Mike was super helpful and gave us lots of helpful advice about things to do on the island. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing host, who completely made us feel at home. Couldn't of asked for better communication and as for the property , unbelievable. Prime location, and to have an extra warm sauna, extra cold cold plunge, working jacuzzi and games room is almost unheard of. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Oli
