The community, then called Camp Gordon Johnston, was set near the beautiful beaches of the gulf coast, and St George Island, for easy access during training for the D-Day invasion! Nested 2 blocks from Apalachicola Bay, 10 minutes from the Apalachicola River and 10 minutes from St George island, our cozy cottage is a new build that has all of the comforts of home. Four adults can stay comfortably with 2 very comfortable beds and 1 bathroom. We also have a fold out cot perfect size for a child. Our home is in a very quiet neighborhood located on a cul-de-sac and is a short driving distance from fishing, hunting, shopping and sight- seeing adventures.

A-Lure on the Bay

A-Lure is our downstairs apartment on St. George Island. The space is located right on the bay with a 100 yard long dock. It is a four block walk to the beach from this side of the island. The room includes a really nice view, KING bed, TV, wi-fi , mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and drinking water. The space has its own AC/Heat system. Access to the dock is all yours and we have a two person kayak at your disposal as well. Come and relax at our peaceful place on SGI.

Family Tides -Cozy Coastal Getaway

This 1b/1bx cottage is cozy, light, bright, and clean and has one of the best locations in Franklin County. A peaceful neighborhood setting away from traffic and congestion, yet only a 5-minute stroll to the Apalachicola Bay. Has its own parking and room to park a boat and/or personal watercraft w/trailer. If you are looking for a laid-back, quiet getaway, then Family Tides is the place for you. If you are looking for a wild & crazy party atmosphere, you won't find it here

Unplugged

Experience old Florida in this 1950's 1 bedroom 1 bathroom bungalow located on a tropical spit along the Forgotten Coast. Unplugged sits nestled in between the Gulf of Mexico and Alligator Harbor with beach on one side and a bay-side boat ramp on the other. The house sleeps two in the main bedroom, two on a sofa bed in the living area, and has a small bunk room off the porch that can accommodate two children. Sorry, we do not accept pets.
