The Redtail Yurt

Out in nature and off-grid, our large, 30 ft. diameter Pacific Yurt is in a beautiful setting with lots of wildlife around. We have year-round hiking trails throughout our 95 acres of woods and fields and along our large creek. This is an all off-grid camping experience with nice beds, clean sheets and a composting toilet. The yurt is on a raised wooden platform and is a 5-minute walk up and down a dry creek bed to parking and your other amenities in our refinished barn / community center.

The Hangar

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. The Hangar is the front living area of what used to be a small plane hangar. A great place to relax by yourself or with family/friends. Enjoy the beautiful pond view in this quant country setting. There is a fully stocked kitchen (w/microwave/frig/coffee pot/apt sz stove), washer & dryer, tub/shower, large living room with couch & love seat, TV, desk, & dining room table. Freshly painted, newly/uniquely furnished & decorated.

The Atomic Cowboy Suite

Fantastic one bedroom apartment with full bath and kitchen located Downtown Ottawa Kansas on the Prairie Spirit Trail. There is only one bed in the apartment but plenty of space for sleeping bags. Just let us know how many are coming. We are in the process of redecorating this little mid century gem into a 50’s western theme. Please bear with us for the mix mash of styles while we finish up. Lots of Antique Shopping within walking distance. Walk to dinner and enjoy this victorian city.

Maison de Joie-Ottawa, KS

Take a step back in time and enjoy this tranquil, historical home situated near the heart of Ottawa, Kansas. This 1910 home boasts of stately charm and modern amenities. This home is located just a few blocks from charming downtown Ottawa, and a mile and half from Ottawa University. GEHA field in KC is 54 minutes.

Rural getaway with incredible views & fishing pond

Property sits on 20 acres with a stocked fishing pond for your enjoyment.

Quaint vintage, eclectic bungalow on brick street with private parking. Wifi, comfortable common spaces, a stocked kitchen, quality beds & linens. Home is situated only blocks from Ottawa University and downtown. University parents can easily walk to campus, downtown restaurants and shopping, and City Park. This was once my grandmothers home. The vintage décor leans towards " eclectic". The house has refinished floors, all new paint, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. No pets allowed.

Near Pomona Reservoir!

This house is less than three miles away from Pomona Lake and is part of a 180 ac. ranch. This spacious home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms that offer room for a large family or families, a large fishing or hunting party. The house is located in prime deer and waterfowl hunting area. Off a dirt road, the property is peaceful and has room for boats or several vehicles. Pomona Lake offers great fishing and boating and a wonderful beach to sit relax and soak up the sun.

This charming, restored circa 1935 house is across the street from Ottawa City Park and walking distance from the downtown district. 2300 sq ft provides large common areas such as living room, dining area and sunroom to accommodate families. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, and brand new appliances. There is an outdoor patio with a new grill and a fire cauldron. The home is available for two night bookings or more.
