The cottage boasts a through lounge and dining area, which consists of a sofa bed and a four-seat dining table, and cosy log fire. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with a wetroom ensuite. There is also a kitchen with a gas cooker, fridge and a washing machine. There is a lovely village pub just a 2 min walk away and some beautiful countryside walks. No pets

Located in a small village with beautiful countryside views, this spacious, 150 year old character cottage is self-contained with a garden to the front and a courtyard to the rear. It has two bedrooms, a newly refurbished bathroom, beamed living room and spacious kitchen diner. The cottage is 7 miles north of Melton Mowbray on the Notts / Leics border. Originally converted from a barn in the 1850s, it has been recently refurbished to a high standard but still retains many original features.

The Barn is a rural retreat tucked away at the end of a quiet leafy lane in Colston Bassett in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)

Fabulous barn conversion - Stunning views

The property is known as the Long Shed, for no better reason than it's nice and long! It sleeps two, but there is plenty of space for you to spread out. The kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons. There is a smart TV in both the living room and bedroom, a hot tub, BBQ and garden furniture out on the patio, and the views are fantastic. If you fancy getting away from it all and enjoying some peace and quiet, some space and lots of countryside - the Long Shed is perfect.

With cycle routes and foot paths, makes our location perfect for a country getaway. Ideal for walking, cycling, horse-riding and fishing. Melton Mowbray 'Rural capital of food' only a 10 minute drive away. Ideal for a stopover if visiting Ragdale Spa, or one of the many food festivals in Melton. Belvoir Castle 20 minute drive.

With a permenant double bed and the option of a second pull out double bed we cater for either a couple or group of four. Self catering facilities, a fully fitted shower room, a TV and WiFi combined with an extensive network of foot paths, bridle ways and national cycle routes makes our pods the perfect hub for your country escape.

The Vine Cabin is a hand built snug insulated wooden cabin with woodburner, within sight and sound of the River Wreake where you can use our canoes . Sleeps up to 5 (2 in bunks), basic cooking facilities. Canoe building holidays by arrangement. The built in bunk can take 2 people ( increasing the capacity to 6, but they need to be friendly!!). Please bring sleeping bags for the built in bunk (the other beds have bedding provided)

Please note that the property is only suitable for a maximum of two adults and two children. Please let us know if you need a travel cot and highchair. The property is located in a rural setting with a woodland area with a wildlife pond. No third party bookings accepted.
