Welcome! Our newly constructed two bedroom suite is perfectly situated in North Nanaimo between Neck Point and Pipers Lagoon. View the Salish Sea from your breakfast table or take a coffee with you on a short (7 minute) walk to the forest and coastal trails of Neck Point. Our suite is on a bus route and only ten minutes from the Departure Bay ferry terminal. We are a short drive to all amenities and a perfect location for day tripping to local attractions within and around the Nanaimo area.

Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
