The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

Also you have the largest shopping center in Iceland called Smáralind in walking distance.

Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay. 180 m2 upper floor with a master bedroom and 2 children’s rooms, one of the kids room has a bunk bed, (upper bed 80x200cm, lower bed 120x200cm) and the other has a sofa bed. It is also possible to sleep on the sofa in the living room and add a 90x200cm floor mattress. The apartment has a kitchen and 2 restrooms. Nice and quiet neighborhood. 12 minutes by car to downtown Reykjavík and about 40 minutes to Keflavík airport.
