Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

It’s not too far from Riga city centre, many public transportation options available in close proximity. There are food store near by. Commute to Old Riga takes 15 min via public transport or 30 min by foot. Double/Queen size bed (160cm x 200cm). No smoking inside apartment. Modern apartment in a historic building from 1912. Riga is considered the Art Nouveau capital of Northern Europe. Here you can not only find many buildings with stunningly beautiful facades, but also live in one of them. The apartment is located 25 minutes walk from the Old Town and a few minutes walk from the famous Kalnciema quarter Public transport stops are right next to the house, which gives a certain noise. Please pay attention for this.
