Had a fabulous (and alas, all-too-brief) stay at this architectural gem, located in a quiet and tranquil setting just a few minutes from the centre of Owen Sound. Sim was a wonderful host -- communicative and with lots of tips for things to see and do in the district. We aim to return as soon as possible!

Diana and Eric were an absolute pleasure to stay with. The bnb felt very cozy and provided the perfect “cabin in the woods” vibe. The hosts were always willing to help and the household pets were delightful.

Beate and Lothar were excellent hosts at the bed and breakfast. We felt right at home in their home and were very generous with their time and accommodating us. The house was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. Beate was on the ball with breakfast and was a delight to talk to. We will defiantly consider visiting again!

What an amazing weekend. Suzanne was an outstanding hostess. She always made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Suzanne shared great local attractions to check out and always made sure we left for our adventures with a warm snack for the road. I’ll be sure to come back.

Had a great overnight stay here. Very comfortable room. Hosts are very friendly and gave us good recommendations for local food. The breakfast they served was delicious. Will try to come back here again.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place, especially for couples. The property offers several rooms, and we booked one of the more charming ones with a beautiful view. The room was spotless, and Andy (owner) was incredibly kind and helpful, despite a slight language barrier. He really went out of his way to assist us. We also had access to a canoe, which was either free or came at a minimal charge. The serene surroundings made for the perfect getaway, exactly what we needed. While the view alone is worth the price, the hospitality truly made our stay memorable. If you have a bit more in your budget, I’d suggest booking the cottage on the same property. It comes with a private deck and offers even more seclusion and privacy. Thanks again for the amazing stay, Yuling!

Absolutely outstanding stay! Darlene was truly wonderful and made our visit to Tobermory thoroughly enjoyable. She makes an incredible breakfast which we loved and her attention to detail is amazing! The rooms are spotless with beautiful little details, everything you could need and she is fantastic at providing many local recommendations to ensure her guests have the best time. I could not recommend a stay at Darlene’s more! We will definitely be returning 🙌🏼

We had an amazing stay at Katarina and John’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was easy, and the space was spotless and beautifully designed. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast bar, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our mornings so much more enjoyable. Katarina was an exceptional host, always responsive and ensuring I had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The outstanding features of this traditional, authentic home are the warmth of the welcome and great breakfasts. Furnishings and decor seek to capture the history of the owner’s home in a peaceful residential street of more modern homes. Stayner is a quiet town. There is a good local value for money local pub providing food but it is not open every night so it is necessary to travel by car to neighbouring towns on the nights it is not open.

My husband and I loved our stay at Ann’s! The room/house is exactly as described -maybe even better. The house is incredibly charming but it holds nothing to Ann. It was lovely to talk to her, breakfast was delicious, and watching the birds from the kitchen window was a delightful treat. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Sarah & I stayed at The Moose B&B from July 6-9, 2023, in the Birch suite. It was exactly what we needed. We started off our mornings on our private deck sipping coffee made with the kurig coffee provided in our private kitchenette. We wandered down for a beautiful breakfast that was served on the terrace. Our days were spent sitting in the screened in gazebo reading, sitting on the dock watching boaters come and go, swimming in the straight between Big Trading Bay & Little Trading Bay and having a relaxing hot tub. The Trading Bay Dinning Company is a 2 minute walk from the Moose, with a table for two on the patio overlooking the straight. The General Store is a 5 minute walk from the Moose and it had everything you could possibly need and it shares a parking lot with the LCBO. Sarah & I left feeling recharged, rejuvenated and relaxed. This is a Gem and we can't wait to revisit. Debora & Calvin were class acts all the way. You will not be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at Ashleigh and Sean’s ! They’re great hosts and the place is amazing! So conveniently located, but also tucked away. Easy to walk to downtown and trails close by. Parking was provided on premise. They’re extremely proactive and gave us some great tips and recommendations. If you’re going to Tobermory I would definitely recommend staying at Ashleigh and Sean’s!!

We had an amazing stay! The place was even better in person, clean, cozy, and perfectly located near the lake. We experienced exactly what we were looking for, peace and relaxation. Rad even offered a fishing net for my daughter to use during our fishing time. She was very accommodating and quick to respond. We highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway.

I don't usually take AirBNBs within homes; however, Shilpi did a great job showcasing her place as a B&B and placing guest amenities at the opposite side of the home, well away from others, and with your own bathroom. She was so welcoming, showing genuine interest in your comfort. I could have talked to her for a very long time, and actually we did in the morning when indulging in the amazing breakfast she made for me. It truly was the icing on the cake for my stay - absolutely delicious without being heavy. We shared a love for teas and the teas she provided - one after I arrived, and another at breakfast, was also spectacular. I would definitely stay again! Thank you Shilpi for sharing your wonderful home with me!

Overall, the whole trip itself was wonderful and very worth it. The place itself was comfortable and gorgeous, along with having a game room, so it was entertaining! Not to mention the sauna; a very therapeutic experience you must try at least once. Irene, herself was a fantastic host; she was incredibly friendly and kind, her chats were lively, and her breakfasts in the morning was absolutely delicious! Also, her two dogs, Gracie and Luna were so adorable and sweet to play with! And her bird was also hilarious and a delight, especially when you get to hear him talk! :) I would love to come here again when I'm able to!

Amazing people and a great place to stay. Markus helped us out when our car got stuck and even guided us in extreme snow, everything about this place is amazing and makes it a must visit The breakfast was amazing as well. And i just miss yodel the dog

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at this beautiful b'n'b! From booking to the last day, Stu and his partner were so lovely, quick to respond, provided tons of local recommendations and hospitality was amazing! Everything is true to the pictures and the place is STUNNING. The room was great with AC unit & ceiling fan, lovely common areas, & a beautiful deck & garden with views out over the lake. We used the kayaks, peddle boat and paddleboard, we didnt need the bikes. Lounged dock-side & basically chilled the entire weekend which coming from DT Toronto was what the soul needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - eggs, peameal bacon, croissants, fruit & yoghurt, juices and Tea, Starbucks coffee pods. We used the food delivery service Stu told us about, and Uber is subsidized by the city. Super easy & cheap to get to without a car & we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood/beaches. Bring some wine, watch the sunset and sunrise, and play on the lake. Honestly, we will 100% be back!

The stay with Dorota and Mirek was one of my best stays ever. Everything about their place is serene and beautiful. The peaceful sound of waves outside, soft piano music inside, warm, cozy and super clean interiors, fragrant aromatic pouches in every corner of wardrobes, homemade and home grown food and Dorota and Mirek's hospitality will blow you away. Their home reflects their love for each other and their surroundings and staying in it is an experience in itself. They go out of their way to ensure their guests are safe and enjoy their stay. Mirek even sweeps the algae inside the lake to ensure people don't slip while swimming!! Dorota ensured I got yummy vegetarian breakfast and they set up a fire in their gorgeous fire place for all guests one night. We had an amazing time listening to such interesting stories of fellow guest and Dorota's local recommendations ensured i prebooked parkings where required. Staying with them was a very heartwarming and unforgettable experience
