The Hayloft

Relax with the family in this peaceful slice of heaven. Set at the end of a single lane track, it is a truly idyllic spot. Wildlife in abundance including deer, hare, owls and other large birds of prey. The property is on our small farm where we keep our horses, chickens, geese and ducks. We are close to Hedingham Castle, only 3 mins by car. Great for attending a wedding! It’s a 10 minute walk to the village of Gestingthorpe with its award winning pub The Pheasant offering drinks and great food.

This lovely cottage is in a particularly pretty rural setting close to Castle Hedingham, with great walks right from your doorstep and local nearby pubs. The Stables is a 1600’s, Grade II listed farm building recently sympathetically restored with many original features and exposed Oak beams retained to offer a couple a chance to get away from it all and enjoy beautiful countryside in the comfort and luxury of a beautiful little cottage. Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.
