A beautiful and spotlessly clean home with all the comforts to make our stay a magical experience. The undercover patio is weatherproof and was our favorite place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and the lush natural foliage. The monkey troop that passed through daily were curious and not a nuisance at all - we loved watching them for the few minutes that they visited us every day. The home is furnished with an array of interesting and personal items that were fascinating and intriguing. And so many wonderful books to suit all tastes! We were blown away by the dog bed and water bowl that awaited our two small dogs - such a lovely touch! Easy access to the garden for our house-trained dogs. Absolutely no security concerns at all. The estate is a wonderland of walking trails, dams, indigenous natural bush and wildlife. We will definitely be back - 8 nights was just too short! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures didn’t do the house justice. Palm trees, sea views, huge garden, lovely comfy beds in all the rooms, immaculately clean. Stewart and Milward on hand to clean all day every day - what a treat! It’s an easy walk down to the beach and an even easier walk to both the fabulous bakery The Local for fresh bread, apple crumble and other treats and the new Padel courts! We loved our curry from Nirvana who lives just a couple of doors down too. Our kids played long snooker tournaments. There were lots of different tables and break out areas to chill and find space. Good internet connection. Highly recommend to any large group wanting a fantastic beach house.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The house is huge, enough space for everyone. The house was cleaned everyday and is super close to the beach. The jacuzzi was an extra bonus. Enjoyed it so much! Best holiday home for a large group.

We had never stayed in an Airbnb property before and so had no idea what to expect. However, The Lilypad surpassed anything we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and much bigger than it seemed in the photos and Derrick and Margi are the perfect hosts. The house is spacious and very well equipped. Even the monkeys turned up to watch us eating lunch in the garden one day. It was like a wildlife documentary in reverse! We could not believe their generosity in taking our children to the airport at 5.30am after we left! If all Airbnb properties and hosts are all like this then we are hooked. Had such a lovely family holiday. Location was super - right about Granny's beach and opposite the Salt Cafe. Fabulous deck for braai's. Felt very safe and secure. Thanks Nicci

Wonderful property with stunning view of the ocean. Stay was comfortable with all the amenities including a private pool and outdoor space. This was great for us travelling with a toddler. Checkers delivery to the estate was a bonus! The hosts were great providing a lot of information and we especially appreciated the effort in organising a golf cart for us. Pristine private beach access and beautiful golf course all adds to a wonderful getaway!
