The building is typically very quiet, making it great for families or travelers seeking a peaceful reprieve in the great little town of Girdwood. The space is ideal for 1-3 people but can accommodate 4. We hope you enjoy your Girdwood adventure as much as we do!

Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!

The unit comes complete with everything needed to cook full meals, relax after a day in the mountains, and get a wonderful night's sleep to wake up refreshed for more adventures!

Beautiful Girdwood Chalet with Stunning Views Enjoy breathtaking views from our cozy Girdwood chalet, just a short walk to the mountain resort, local restaurants, and popular venues. After a day of skiing or hiking, unwind in our large hot tub, nestled in a serene, private wooded setting. Please note: Hot tub use ends at 10 PM—no exceptions. Security cameras are in use on the property.

Easy access to hiking trails, the ski resort, many nearby restaurants, and the Girdwood Brewing Company. Pets allowed on approval. There is no Wi-Fi on the property, but there is cell coverage.
