Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Lazy Days Lake Retreat

Beautiful 4BR, 2BA lakefront home on Tainter Lake. Enjoy outdoor decks, a private dock with lake access, and a hot tub for unwinding. Inside features full kitchen, comfortable furniture, indoor fireplaces, games, and more. The open layout features plenty of space for friends and family. Ideal for a peaceful escape or fun-filled family vacation. NOTE: The lake gets green from algae bloom by Mid July, and swimming may be limited after that time, but boating and fishing remain great all year.

We are just a 30 min drive to Menomonie, Hudson, Wi and the magnificent Stillwater, MN. We offer a quiet, peaceful and wooded setting to rest after a great day of sightseeing in the area.

Oak Hill Retreat

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

This newly built 1000 square foot chalet, inspired by Swiss architecture, is located just over an hour east of the Twin Cities or twenty miles north of Menomonie, Wisconsin. Relax and enjoy a secluded residence in the woods. The chalet is located next to a 200-acre operational organic farm. Meander through the farm to watch certified organic beef cattle grazing, discover the artwork of beavers, and enjoy observing the geese and sandhill cranes in the air and on the water.

Secluded, modern, stylish retreat nestled in mature pines on 2.5 acres near Apple Lake. Enjoy a large hot tub, fire pit and year-round activities. The property sits on a lagoon that is currently separated from the lake due to low water levels. The lagoon is suitable for kayaking, pedal boating and fishing, but not swimming. One of kind stay! Perfect for two couples or a large group. Two bedrooms have queen beds and a back bunk room has 3 twin size and 1 full size bed. Big kitchen/living room area. There is a unique 4 seasons room with hammocks in the center of the apartment that is smoker friendly. Right downtown and above a friendly pub.
