In the heart of Marple Bridge, this is a very convenient 2 bedroom town house apartment, sleeping 4/6. Opposite a popular coffee shop for breakfast (tapas by night), restaurants and pubs in walking distance, great walks from the doorstep and a short walk to the train station A 2 storey apartment, so please note there are stairs. No private parking but free parking in a large car park very close.. We accept max 2 dogs at an additional charge of £15 per dog per stay payable directly to the host.

Built in our garden, this hideaway serves as accommodation for our large family to use when visiting. It has a large open plan kitchen/lounge diner with a sofa bed, one double bedroom, an office area, bathroom and a utility room housing the laundry facilities. It has underfloor heating and is double glazed. There is a dedicated parking space on our drive and a deck to sit on, in good weather.

The Apartment is ideally placed for walking, with a path leading towards Lyme Park (1hr), and a path leading towards the neighbouring village of Whaley Bridge. (40 min).

It is one of the oldest buildings in New Mills and I'm lead to believe from my history lessons in school that this stoney building housed the cotton spinners from the mills back in the late 1700s! Just a stones throw from the Torrs Millennium Walk and the Sett Valley Trail. All amenities such as Sainsburys, Boots, The Crispy Cod Chippy, Local Pubs and Transport Links are all within a short walking distance.

Ryecroft House is a former farmhouse that dates back to the Seventeenth Century. It is situated in Ryecroft, a hamlet of half a dozen or so houses, a little less than a mile above the centre of Holmfirth. There is plenty of off-road parking and a substantial garden for guests’ use. Guests’ accommodation is the top floor of the house. Access is through the main house, so we share a staircase and hallway, but the flat itself is fully independent with a lockable entrance.
