We had an amazing stay! The location can't be beat, private but close enough to shops and restaurants. Tricia was very helpful, our neighbors were friendly and the beach and view were perfect. Our hosts helped with recommendations, cabs, tours, etc. When we needed something we just asked and they accommodated.

Das Haus liegt direkt auf dem Strand. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, sogar Sonnencreme. Die Küche ist einfach eingerichtet aber es reichte aus, um Frühstück zu machen und abends mal Spaghetti zu kochen. Im Kühlschrank standen kostenfrei Getränke zur Verfügung und das Leitungswasser war trinkbar. Ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig war, dass wir das Toilettenpapier in einem Eimer entsorgen mussten, da das Abflusssystem damit nicht klar kommt. Eine Klimaanlage wird nicht benötigt. Der Wind vom Meer und die Ventilatoren reichen absolut aus. Es ist super, dass man morgens aufstehen und im Meer schwimmen kann. Wenn man das Haus verlässt, muss man immer durch Sand laufen. Candace hat uns sehr viele gute Restaurant Tipps gegeben. Sie hat uns außerdem tolle Ausflüge organisiert. Die Ausflüge wurden von Einheimischen angeboten, die sich super auskannten und waren nicht so teuer, wie bei einigen Touranbietern. Es ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, diesen Service von Candace zu nutzen.

We had a great one month stay. Loved being in the heart of the village where we could walk easily to many restaurants, stores, and tour companies. Loved how it got quiet by 9:00 p.m. in the village! The rental was as described and looked like the pictures, there were no surprises. Definitely recommend.

Andrea was a great hostess. She was very attentive and helpful. It was very comfortable for two people, Super well appointed. The sunsets from the lanai were spectacular! Make sure you take advantage of Edward, the juice man, who delivers fresh local juices, and the fish vendor who comes by from time to time. There was great birding from the lanai! Having access a 10 minute walk away to a resort on the ocean side with the breeze, the palm trees, and a restaurant was fabulous. We were there during an unexpectedly wet “dry season“, which made the bugs problematic. The airport noise was a little more than we expected, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and there are no planes flying at night.

Lovely apartment on the beach. The location was perfect, bars, restaurants, shop & pharmacy close by. It was spacious, clean and tidy. The kitchen is well stocked, the outside areas were comfortable

We had an amazing time in Placencia at The White Turtle! The location is absolutely perfect! The caretakers Reuben, Rufina and their son Gilbert made our trip so special! Rufina kept the house absolutely spotless and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Reuben set up our tours and we had the most amazing time snorkeling, fishing and visiting waterfalls. Reuben knows his stuff! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful week stay at Laura’s with our two teens. The location is perfect- right in the village, steps from many restaurants. We loved the trees that surround the house that we could see while relaxing inside and in the deck. Laura was very responsive. The apartment had everything we needed, and we were grateful for these small details. The air conditioning was perfect. We hope to stay there again soon! Thank you, Laura!

Walkable to everything in Placencia (beach, restaurants, coffee shops, market) Very comfortable beds and pillows. Unit was clean and cool, and the upstairs patio was very nice early in the morning when still cool. Yola was very responsive and helpful! There was some construction, but it was fairly quiet and only during daytime hours, as promised by the hostess. Enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

We had a great stay! Everything was exactly as described and beautiful. It was quiet and clean- we felt safe staying at Seabird! Highly recommend and great for families.
