The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

The Stables Wild Atlantic Way Schull, West Cork

The Stables is a newly converted Irish stone cottage, dating back to the 18th century and set in the grounds of one of Lord Bandon's old Hunting Lodges. This exceptional property and location is close to Schull, Goleen and Durrus This cottage has been converted to a high standard, with a fully fitted kitchen, open plan dining area / living room, and separate bedroom with a modern en suite shower room. Beautiful walks set in 17 acres and a hillside overlooking Dunmanus Bay. We welcome dogs.

This is a quirky, charming Irish cottage near Goleen in the heart of West Cork. Close to magnificent beaches, restaurants, west cork trails, Mizen head, water sports and many other activities. With the most beautiful vistas and the village of Goleen within a couple of minutes drive. The cottage is situated on private grounds near my house where i grow vegetables and keep chickens. This property would be suitable for a couple, family with kids that can sleep on a loft or a writers retreat.

Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

Enjoy the elements when you stay in this unique place, with panoramic views out to Cape Clear the iconic Fastnet Rock Lighthouse and the Alderman Rock at the entrance to Crookhaven. Our new Geodome features a large skylight so that you can take in the stars of the dark skies on the Wild Atlantic Way. The dome is insulated and beautifully furnished with Scandinavian style. The cottage sits snugly at Curraghmore Farm in the Black Valley, surrounded by the breathtaking MacGillycuddys Reeks. It was fully refurbished in the last couple of years & is furnished in a very atmospheric, fresh & light manner. Wander along The Kerry Way - one of Ireland’s longest & most famous walking trail, hike Ireland's highest mountain Carrauntoohil. Its unique very remote location is a perfect spot to watch the clouds pass overhead & the sheep “baa” in the field.

Secluded and tranquil, we are 90 minutes minutes from Cork Airport, 2 hours west of Cork city and a 15 min DRIVE from Ballydehob. Surrounded by working farms on 4 acres; an oasis of trees and home to a variety of bird life.

The Hideaway @ Three Castle Head

The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water. Photographs just don't capture the true majesty of the place.

The Fastnet Cottage

High on the hills between Goleen and Crookhaven you will find The Fastnet Cottage. The Fastnet Cottage has a loft bedroom and small living area that is part of a small enclave of houses, all owned by the same family. The Fastnet Cottage and Knockagullane, along with a double bedroom located above the boathouse, are available to rent separately or in any combination. The family’s main house is not rented out.
