'Top of the Hill House' is a 120-year-old rural farm cottage situated on our hobby farm at the top of a hill in Goorambat, surrounded by stunning views of the mountains, just 15 minutes' drive from Benalla. This rustic cottage has retained many of its original features, is clean and comfortable, and faces east so that you can see the superb sunrises. It is a perfect rural retreat for couples, families or small groups...and we also have a pool you can use in summer! We have solar panels too.

Have room to park cars and trailers for people that are racing at Winton Or for a slower pace you can watch the grass grow on our working cattle and sheep farm.

Located in the Milawa Gourmet Region, the cottage is ideal for visiting the King Valley wine region, Beechworth & Bright. From the comfort of the back verandah you will enjoy views of the olive grove & beyond the lawns to paddocks with sheep and lambs. Delights inside the cottage include a rainwater shower, bathtub, fireplace, an espresso machine & super comfy bed linens. Our recently renovated cottage loves the environment & uses rainwater, solar power & vintage European furniture.

Large 3 bed home in a quiet location

This home is currently listed for sale and is only available to book Saturday (3pm check-in) to Friday. We are open for guests to stay over the weekend but only small groups and you will have to accommodate for an open inspection Saturday morning. This lovely home have three bedroom and two full bathrooms home is convenient located just of the Hume Highway as you enter Benalla. Close to Benalla Golf Club, Reef Hills State Park and only a couple of minutes drive to town centre.

With accommodation for 8 it is ideally suited for two families, multigeneration groups or just girls weekend away.

Features include fishing at your back door, tennis, river walks and BBQ in a tranquil setting.

The Dairy at Marangan

Located on the edge of the Broken River, The Dairy at Marangan is a beautiful retreat like no other. Secluded, yet only minutes from the heart of Benalla. Featured in Country Style magazine, this old red brick dairy has been transformed into a comfortable home with modern conveniences and plenty of rustic charm. The Dairy boasts two lovely outdoor areas perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the North East of Victoria.

The Old Butcher's House Benalla - Cottage Charm

Step through the ornate stained glass door and soak up the period charm of a self-contained oasis built in 1887. The blend of original features and modern styling includes 12-foot cedar ceilings, Murray pine floors, lead light windows, and original fireplaces. (The fireplaces are not functional and are for decor purposes only. (Split air conditioners and Hydronic heating keep you at your desired temperature).

A place to relax, situated on a 5 acre property with lots of space for parking. Our home is adjacent to this accommodation, we are not tolerant of drugs and parties. Minimum 2 night stay. 20A outlet for EV charging. North east Vic has a plethora of things to see and do, no matter your taste. We have lived in this region all of our lives and are happy to help out with any queries.
