Hansel Cottage- a cosy cottage in quiet location

Hansel: a gift. This charming Victorian cottage, built around 1860 by a local merchant, offers very comfortable accommodation in a quiet, central location in Lerwick. Situated in a secluded lane, the cottage provides a snug hideaway. We provide a welcome pack of local produce, locally made toileteries and a small library of books, and a basket of wood and peat for the stove. Parking is available nearby. There is a private south-west facing garden with shed. Garden furniture and BBQ included.

Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

Old Moorens

Old Moorens is a cosy, traditional crofthouse on the rugged and beautiful West-side of Shetland. Charming and full of character, the house is situated only 200 metres from a quiet, shingly beach with beautiful sunset views. As well as this, it is only a short, 5 minute walk, to the main West-side bus route. The perfect base for exploring the many attractions Shetland has to offer in all seasons. Fresh, light and airy in the summer months with a wood burning stove for the colder nights.

If cooking at home is more your thing the kitchen has everything you need to make a wonderful meal with local fish and produce shops nearby.

Close to the BBC series 'Shetland 'Jimmy Perez' home', and minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs in Lerwick, Sea Winds makes an excellent base to tour the isles.

Braebank

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located 2 storey dwelling house. Shops are a short drive to either Lerwick, Scalloway or Whiteness. There are 2 golf courses, one 18 hole and one 9 hole, within a mile of Braebank and a bus stop within walking distance. There is a loch next to the 9 hole golf course which is used for model yachting and trout fishing. A wonderfully central place to enjoy exploring the Shetland mainland.
