The house was all we hoped & needed it to be, very spacious & comfortable. I truly loved the outdoor space as well. The creek was so peaceful, we loved listening to the water meandering on its way. The horses were friendly & beautiful. The playground & fire ring were outstanding. Loved all the picnic areas. I love the plans for this place, in honor of the folks that gave so much to this place. Many thanks to the wonderful people that made our stay possible!

Stephanie and Doug were great hosts. They helped give us the lay of the land as soon as we got there. Even some tips on hunting spots. We enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for what we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Smith's Horse Barn. The Barn is completely renovated and uniquely decorated. We enjoyed the combination of old and new touches and the peaceful surroundings. It is easily accessible from the main road and we were able to find good hunting spots close by. Mary was very responsive and had helpful suggestions for getting around in the area. Like many others, we enjoyed the delicious cinnamon rolls. We would love to come back and share this treasure with the rest of our family. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

It was such a great place to stay. Very clean and roomy. Our family felt at home. Love the little town. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the west cabin, 4 of us stayed and we had a great time! Mary was super helpful and the house was perfect for us. Everything was very clean and well kept. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Clean, quiet and very comfortable for a group of hunters. Kitchen and patio is very functional. The location is away from everybody else but not too far away from Hill City in case you need something from town. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks Mary
