There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

We have created a haven of tranquility to return to after a busy day sightseeing or to hide away in and relax if that’s what you’re looking for. All the seasons are beautiful here, spring and summer and autumn with their vibrant colours, a time for exploration, and in winter you can enjoy the pure air and wrap up warm for exploring, or just simply cosy up inside our lovely, comfortable cottage.

The Longbarn at Caerfallen is a Grade II listed, luxury, self-catering holiday home located on an historic farm in the Vale of Clwyd, North Wales just a mile from the Medieval town of Ruthin. Situated just outside of the picturesque North Wales village of Llanarmon-yn-Ial, in an ANOB Glandwr Alyn is an ideal location for outdoor pursuits or a country getaway. For cyclists there are great road routes or if you are more of a mountain biker we are 15mins drive from Oneplanet Adventure. Offa’s Dyke path is a short walk from the cottage, alternatively the village's community pub & shop is a 15min walk. Birdwatchers love watching for Kingfishers on our deck which overlooks the river Alyn.
