Fantastic place for a nice getaway. Home was as described & beautifully maintained! Decor makes it extra homey! Perfect location to visit theArk & Creation Museum. Recommend 100%!!

This place was very comfortable, clean and full of amenities! Sitting on the porch looking at the lake was peaceful and beautiful. Location was perfect to visit the Ark Encounter (~15min away) and Creation Museum (~30 min away). Rachel was a great host, checked in on us and was very responsive.

We had a group of six who stayed there a few days and it was a great experience! The instructions were very clear and we had everything we needed. The bathrooms were roomy and we loved having good closet spaces! Basically the newness and cleanliness made you feel like you were in a new home. We had a beautiful view, but it unfortunately rained the entire time we were there. Speaking of rain, we were a little concerned about the road based on some other reviews, BUT even with 4 days of constant rain, we didn’t have any issues navigating the roads. As others have said, 4 wheel drive is helpful. We reached out to Marie during our stay and she responded within minutes and resolved our question quickly. We can’t wait to return during good weather to really enjoy the lake view:)

Every detail was as described. The place has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Our family celebrated Thanksgiving here and couldn’t ask for more. The kitchen has all the utensils needed and then some. The bathrooms were spacious and well stocked with clean towels and wash cloths. The bedrooms were cozy and had extra blankets. To top it off, the view is very nice. We would recommend this place.

My husband, granddaughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Erin's lovely home. She was responsive to my questions before our trip, and she had left great suggestions for restaurants, etc. We tried several on our trips to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, and we loved the burgers, the pizza, and the Cincinnati chili. The home is lovely. There are neighbors nearby, but the home is well insulated, so we heard little noise. And goodness...at night, the lake got SO quiet and peaceful! The beds were all VERY comfortable, and we fell into them gratefully after long, busy days. The hot tub was also a blessing for sore muscles after much adventuring. The kitchen was spotless and met our needs perfectly. We'd LOVE to come back when we can stay longer and play in the lake.

Scott’s place was just what our family needed to spend a weekend and go to the Ark and celebrate Christmas! It had plenty of room to stretch out and the best part they accept dogs!!!! Would definitely recommend Scott’s place to anyone.

The house was amazing and was better than the pictures. Kate was a great host, very responsive and gave great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. Overall this was a wonderful stay and would recommend this house to anyone staying with a large group.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. Our kids absolutely loved it. The screened in porch was a favorite spot. And the view was very pretty. Memories were made and we would love to come back.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and clean Air BnB. The Ark Encounter is a short drive away. We enjoyed our sandwiches from Browning's Country Ham and Ice Cream from Ella Mae's Sundaes in the lower level. Our host was friendly...

This was our 3rd stay at Christian’s place. It’s perfect for us when visiting family and so much more comfortable than a hotel. Super comfortable master bedroom !

4 adults and infant we had a wonderful stay every thing was spot on top notch highly recommend this place.

Bobbie had so many uplifting sayings on the walls, dressers, etc. We were able to save money by doing our own meals, chat around the table, eat or enjoy the patio outside overlooking the peaceful pond w/ducks. Nice shower with warm water, hand held shower (when needed), comfy & relaxing living room when we had the time to just catch our breath. Less than 10 minutes from the Ark Encounter and only about 40 minutes from the Creation Museum - traffic was always great!. We will definitely book one of her sites again and again. The one and a half bathroom were great with 3 adults! I can't say enough nice things - everything we needed was there. Even the toilet paper was nice - not the cheap thin stuff!

Nice location to visit the ark encounter. Nina’s place was exactly as described and very tidy. I recommend to any friend or family.

We stayed here during a business trip. We absolutely loved staying here! Donny was very responsive, the home was clean, so cute, and had a beautiful lake view. We would highly recommend staying at this location. The dirt road can be a little treacherous for those that are not used to driving on dirt roads, but we felt right at home!

We loved our long weekend at the cottage! It was such a peaceful setting that allowed us to relax and recharge. The lake-view from the deck, in the morning and evenings was awesome. It was a little too chilly for water activities, but we look forward to returning in the summer and taking full advantage of ‘lake life!’ The host was so accommodating. We loved the location in proximity to the daily activities we were doing-Creation Museum/Newport, visiting distilleries in Frankfort and the local Ark Encounter.

The Bluegrass Cottage has it all. Super clean and everything is in great condition-furniture, linens, fixtures. The hosts have thought of everything and provide every convenience you could need. We loved the lake park behind the house as well, so beautiful! It even accommodated our family of 7 just fine! A lovely place to stay!

Tonya was an AMAZING host! Her place is just as described, and she was extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful. We stayed in early April right after it had been raining heavily for a few days, so sadly we weren't able to enjoy all the amenities she had to offer as much as we wanted, plus the pool wasn't open yet. The first day we arrived; we did go on the kayaks for a bit, but it was short lived because it was too cold, the second day was super windy and colder than we had expected, which prevented us from being able to do much outside, (but we ended up visiting the Creation Museum that day anyways, and then the ARK the following morning; both were 5 stars!) but unfortunately we had to cut our trip short, so i paid for 3 nights and ended up only staying 2, and couldn't really enjoy the added amenities due to weather while we were there, so I wouldn't give the experience 5 stars, but I do give Tonya and her place 5 stars b/c everything was exactly as described. :) Thank You Tonya

We had a wonderful stay this weekend! Tracy was SUPER helpful and answered questions quickly! We loved having fires down on the dock and my husband did a little fishing! It was great to site out in the screened in patio and watch tv! One thing I will mention is that the TVs are smart TVs and that required us to sign in to our Netflix and ESPN accounts to be able to watch anything. Totally not a big deal for us but for people with cable at home it’s something to think about. Other than that, the size of the beds was a small issue but we made it work! The place was stunning and just as described! Amazing weekend getaway ❤️
