The Chalet is 1000 ft. above the valley and town of John Day Oregon. Great view of the town and valley to the east and Canyon Mt. to the south. Completely outfitted and ready for you to move into and enjoy. It is a Classic High Desert Decor complete with horse shoes and deer showing up for visits.Thanks for the notice. And for your information and knowledge, All linens and towels etc are changed after each rental and all surfaces and faucets, knobs and handles are sterilized too.

Glamping with a view, upper cabin

Glamping in a comfortable off grid cabin, with a pristine mountain view and peaceful privacy. AWD or 4x4 access only. There is a shared outhouse, shower house, picnic table, seating for stargazing and a fire pit (as allowed by fire season). This is a glamping experience, you will be among nature which will surround you from nearby turkeys, birds, deer, cattle and coyotes. These are dry cabins with no running water or power. No outlets for charging, the perfect place to disconnect.

Cowboy Cottage is a lovely rental home centrally located in the town of John Day, Oregon. The unit can be booked as a Vacation Retreat or as Temporary Housing. We are located in a residential neighborhood, directly across from the Grant County fairgrounds and a short, 3-block walk to the downtown restaurants, shops and businesses. This makes it ideal for exploring the town or attending one of the many local events hosted at the fairgrounds.

Small cozy home, centrally located in John Day. Close to downtown, parks, fair grounds and next to Kam Wah Chung Museum. Two bedrooms, one bath, WiFi, and driveway parking. Will comfortably sleep four in private rooms, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Nice covered patio for summer time relaxing. Fenced yard and secure access with motion sensor lighting. Dixie Creek Bungalows is located just a half a block from Historic downtown Prairie City. Walking distance from anything you may need while in town. We may not have a view but we have a great cozy environment inside and out for you to enjoy and relax in. Only 15 minutes from the Strawberries and John Day. A great spot when visiting the Painted Hills, Sumpter or just passing through to Joseph or Idaho.
