Charming house that truly felt like staying at Grandmom’s in the country. Large enough for a bigger family, 2 small families or a small group of friends. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of what would be needed for cooking meals. The surrounding area was beautiful. Perfect peaceful scenery for sitting on that front porch swing listening to the birds and watching calves chasing one another on the hillside. Freshly baked brownies were a thoughtful treat waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

The home and property completely met my expectations. We wanted to immerse ourselves in the lifestyle and history of old place and it did that in spades. We felt at home and slept great!

loved our stay! great location, only about 45 minutes from Grayson highlands state Park to go see wild ponies. The property also along the New River, so we brought our inflatable paddle boards and went for a short paddle up river and then floated back down (don't recommend unless you are experienced with river paddling safety). Everything about our stay was wonderful and we hope to stay again in the future

our stay at Grandma's Cottage was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the fenced in front yard for our fur babies. She responded quickly and was very helpful. A very good price for the location.

Nice spot. All necessities were in the house. Comfy beds. Nice to have upstairs and downstairs on separate thermostats. Clear directions from host about how to find it and what they expected from us. Also nice to have a bathroom on each floor.

The pictures don’t do this gorgeous little cabin justice - it feels straight out of the pages of Architectural Digest! The property is magical and thoughtfully curated down to every last detail. There’s so much love and character put into things here, and it shows. If you’re fortunate enough to find this place free you’re in for a real treat! Comfortable beds, designer bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, great gathering spaces, wonderful lighting. And walking distance to the New River! Airbnb has a number of nice homes but this is one of those gems that you’ll remember and feel truly lucky to experience. Jill (and Keith) could not have been more welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay - the perfect hosts. If there was a 6 star host rating, they’d have it. We can’t wait to return to this special property!

My family and I absolutely loved Rachel’s place! It was so beautifully decorated and so cozy and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable and the linens were so fresh and soft! Every detail was so well thought out. She was also great at communicating and super flexible with check in and check out times! If we come back to that area we will absolutely look into staying at Rachel’s place again! Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Roost was very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the river access and hung out down there a couple of times. One of our favorite things was the lack of a TV. It added to the unplugged rustic experience we enjoy. Thank you Michael for sharing your space with us.

Cynthia’s ABB was probably the cleanest, most comfortable, most enjoyable ABB experience we have had. She is a great communicator and she and her family are right downstairs in her Home Decorating shop. We stayed in the back unit which was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay at this very nice unit. The living room and kitchen are very spacious and designed to be thoughtfully accommodating. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms have useful up-to-date features. My stay was very relaxing and the interior had a loft-like feeling which I love.

I could live there. Minimalist decor which suits me but has everything you could want. Huge comfortable sofas, fully equipped kitchen, room bathroom. Bedroom had lots of storage and great bed. Extremely quiet, free and plentiful parking.

Our second stay here. Rebecca's place was a perfect match for our adventure in 2022, so when we decided to return to Grayson Highlands State Park there was no question where we wanted to stay! We stay in unit B which was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Pictures are accurate. Kitchen was stocked well; variety of quality pots and pans, plenty glassware, china and silverware. Dishwasher too. Living room has plenty of seating. TV viewing was comfortable from any spot. A notebook below the TV held emergency information, restaurant/store listings, and activities in the area. Bathroom shower is great. Easy to step in and nice water pressure. Washer and dryer is a benefit for long stays. We've slept in both bedrooms now. Twin beds in the front room (morning light) and queen bed in the back room (afternoon light). Bedside tables, lights and good closet space in both rooms. There are stairs to enter the unit. I've got a 2 month new hip and made it up/down multiple times fine.

This was our second stay with Rebecca and we felt comfortable and welcoming again, when someone bakes you brownies, it just make you feel like family and she was right there when we arrived and asked what she could do for us. It is really nice to become friends so easily. Thank you Rebecca
