The Garden Cottage at Sayah and Peter's place is attached to their house but, at the same time, very private with separate entrances and surrounded by their lush garden. The bed was very comfy and the shower was good. Everything was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was very well equipped, the best we'd come across on this trip - it also had an excellent L'Or coffee machine! Peter and Sayah were very good hosts with lots of information about - and enthusiasm for - Cooktown, which truly exceeded our expectations as a destination. We had been meaning to go to Cooktown for years, but had never heard anything compelling to make us go, but we were very impressed. The drive from Mount Molloy to Cooktown is one of the most scenic and spectacular we have been on in this part of Queensland, and the road the best, with little traffic.

Really enjoy our stay here! Great location but still nice and quiet, loved the communal kitchen area! Room was cosy and had everything we needed, and Carly and Mark were friendly and quick with responses and any help we needed. Would definitely stay again!

We had a fabulous stay at Jeanie’s, the location is a wonderful, peaceful spot. Jeanie was a perfect host, attentive, friendly but also gives you all the space you need to relax. She provided a great welcome pack of food and drink and allowed us to check in early which was a big help as we had an early flight. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and having access to the pool as well as a private spa was wonderful. We couldn’t recommend Jeanie’s highly enough, truly a fabulous Airbnb experience!

My friend and had a great time during our stay at Club Nautique on Maggie Island! The cabin was super cute and had everything we needed, and the common area was a lovely spot to sit and relax in between activities. Prime location - walking distance to the beach, bus stop, ferry terminal, foodworks, bottleo, cafes and restaurants! Absolutely recommend 😊

What a magical place.! Super clean and well equipped, our family had a most wonderful time here, surrounded by nature and the sounds of the forest. We made fabulous BBQs, spotted birds, played games in the garden, read books in the hammock, sat round the fire pit, and marvelled at the night canopy of stars. Ray was super helpful and we could not recommend staying here highly enough.

Excellent location right across from the beach, great for our dog and overall nice weekend away.

Great location welcoming staff enjoyed the experience

Our party of 6 plus 1 dog stayed 2 nights to access the reef. We had ample parking for 2 vehicles, good kitchen facilities for meals. The bedrooms are small but good for what we needed. The cabin is surrounded by wilderness, kookaburras laughing, parrots, kangaroos and even bats at night. Loved that experience! Carl was friendly and helpful.

Cozy little place. She made it easy even though I arrived late and had my dog along. Very short walk to gaze at the ocean.

Was such a nice little gem up in the hills. Short drive from Cairns but felt a million miles away.

A peaceful and convenient location. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was kept clean and the property was maintained very well. We were even visited by native birds and kangaroos during our stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and we would love to return to the cabin again some day.

The check-in was quick. The stay was very relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and dining area. Our best moments were the evenings by the firepit in the backyard, gazing at the stars. The boardwalk was also a nice added touch. The hosts were awesome, and we also enjoyed an evening slideshow session, which was informative.

Our stay was nice and relaxing , the fire pit while overlooking the mountains was peaceful. I would recommend the property to our friends.

Tranquility was at the top of our holiday list in Cairns, and our stay or Wendy’s and Glenn’s didn’t fall short of our expectations. The comfortable layout of the space was most welcomed and the architectural design sat beautifully against the landscape. Highly recommend!

We had a great few days away. The place was comfortable, clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Dian also supplied a lovely breakfast as a treat. This was a nice surprise which we enjoyed. Dian responded quickly to my emails and helped to make our stay just perfect. Thanks Dian for a lovely stay and for being a great host.

Lovely driving through canefields and being greeted by friendly cows. No TV but that was a nice change.

Great stay at Dee’s cabin, which was equipped with everything we could possibly need! Dee was very help and the cabin was very clean, comfortable and looks lovely.
