One group per day mountain homestay at 950m on the slopes of Mt. Hijiri, ideal for hiking. Surrounded by beautiful seasonal nature and mountain views. Breakfast comes with homemade jam, fresh eggs from our chickens, and freshly baked bread loved by guests. We live here with a goat, two dogs, and chickens. Conversation happens naturally if guests wish, and privacy is respected. A peaceful base for exploring Nagano by day and quiet mountain evenings. Optional irori dinner. Station pickup included.

Private Onsen | Japanese Wooden Bath | Garden

Azumino Hotaka Another House is a private retreat for one group per day, in a quiet villa area at the foot of the Northern Alps. Soak in a Kiso hinoki wooden bath with flowing natural hot spring water from Nakabusa Valley. From late summer, enjoy evening higurashi cicadas, chestnut picking, and autumn colors in the garden. In cooler months, relax by the Italian pellet stove with specialty coffee or local herbal tea. Freshly grated wasabi at breakfast offers an authentic taste of Azumino.

Twin bed or Double bed room with shared bathroom. The Joint Hakuba is centrally located in the heart of Echoland Hakuba. A short stroll to restaurants, bars, cafes, ski and snowboard hire, gift shops and transport to the Hakuba Mountains. We have en-suite rooms, non en-suite rooms and 6 bed dorm room. Open fire place in our comfortable lounge room ,watch Netflix or have a drink by the fire. Outside BBQ area and Campfire. We offer a Continental breakfast during December 20th and March 13th

虫倉山の麓、標高800m、棚田、トタン屋根の古民家が融合するどこか懐かしい風景が目の前に広がる小さな集落のなかに古民家あまねはあります。 江戸時代後期に建てられ、明治初期には寺子屋を開いていたと聞いています。太い大黒柱をはじめ、家自体の存在感、集落、ロケーションが気にいって移住し、以降、セルフリノベーションを積み重ねてきました。歴史的風合いをできるかぎり残すために古材を使って施工しています。 床板は畳の下に敷かれていた栗材や米棚の板の再利用です。庭から出てきた敷石は五右衛門風呂に、長屋門で使われていた蔵の戸は玄関に再利用しています。 夏は扇風機のみで過ごしています。反対に冬は隙間風が入ってとても寒く感じると思いますが、セルフビルドのオンドル（床暖房）や五右衛門風呂など少しでも暖かくすごすための暮らしの工夫もぜひ体感していただきたいことの1つです。 ホストと共に古民家暮らしを体験する宿、古民家あまね。 自然に身を委ね何もない日常を味わう連泊での滞在をおすすめします。 ここで過ごす時間が、あなたにとって静かな喜びとあたたかさにつながったら嬉しいです。

Located 4–10 minutes by car from five major ski resorts, and 1–8 minutes from convenience stores, restaurants, and supermarkets. Optional breakfast service is available for ¥2,600 per meal.
