You can watch deer and wild turkeys during the day and stargaze at night. This is a great place to get away from it all and just be with yourself and nature. It is great for kids and pets. I loved it so much I decided to build Hawk's Hollow (an homage to the resident Red-shouldered hawk who resides here), as place for others to experience its magic. Little Haven is an official 28-acre wildlife preserve 6 miles north of Wimberley. We manage the land for song birds, owls and other raptors. You are welcome to hike and explore anywhere on the land. The sunsets are amazing, and star gazing is the best in Texas (Wimberley is one of only three certified "Dark Sky" cities in Texas). This is the place if you want total quiet, privacy, and dark skies.
