The Heron Room on Bass Harbor

The Heron Room is named for the Great Blue Herons that visit our shore. Located on the second floor of our Boat House Cottage, it overlooks Bass Harbor facing the sunset. A workspace with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker with seating, task lighting, and wifi is provided. Watch the tide change from the deck and the lobster boats heading out at first light. Bring your binoculars — the birding is wonderful — and your water shoes for brisk wading at high tide. This room accommodates two persons.

Downtown Hotel Room

Cozy hotel rental at the Acadia Hotel-Downtown. Built in 1884 as a private home, located in the village Center. Private room with full bathroom, QUEEN size bed, cable tv, mini fridge, & wifi. Quite, clean, and the best price in town. These rooms tend to be on the smaller size, and do have SMALL bathrooms. If you are looking for a larger space, look for our Suite Airbnb listing, or book direct though the hotel.

Theoline room

This small, first floor waterfront room is in our historic Main House Inn, and has a large picture window facing the harbor and mountains of Mount Desert Island! Perfect for those who will be spending more time hiking and on the beach It has a queen bed with a private bathroom with tub/shower combination. No A/C, fans provided. Not pet friendly. *Complimenary Wine & Cheese night cancelled for 2021*

Our Standard King room has one large king bed, sitting area, larger bathroom, mini fridge, and flat screen TV. This room comes with access to all of our hotel amenities. Amenities include hot tub, free wireless high speed internet access, off street parking and a light continental breakfast. This charming cottage style room has a queen bed with a hand painted headboard and matching dresser. The favorite spot in this room is the private balcony surrounded by flower filled window boxes. A great place to watch the sun rise over the village and harbor or to relax after a day of exploring. Large private bath has original clawfoot tub with shower and a pedestal sink.
