Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

It is ideal for couples or small families looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage sleeps 4 guests and has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a double sofa bed for 2 more guests. The bathroom has a shower. The living area offers comfortable seating and the kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer.

For the more active a hike along one of the many trails on the farm there are plenty of birdlife to enjoy, or bring your bike for fantastic MTB trails. Penwarn Farm - Mthini Lodge

Mthini sleeps 8 adults and 3 children and is located 19km on the Bushmen's Nek Road, which is a gravel road, just outside of Underberg, South Africa. Mthini has four bedrooms which are divided into three King Bedrooms and one suite with two ¾ beds and day bed. All rooms have luxury en-suite bathrooms. There is also a full kitchen and a large open-plan living and dining area, with a fireplace, which opens to a patio with a firepit. Daily cleaning, linen and bath towels provided.
